Im gonna try and see if I can get a response from IGP by Reposting this part on its own: A horror game can still be scary even when you are armed to the teeth. Just look at Alien Isolation, the working joes can be mowed down with guns easy, but using a gun is dangerous as it can attract a Xenomorph which doesn't care how many bullets you put in it. Even the flamethrower is only a temperary solution for scaring off a Xenomorph. So while I understand IGP saying he doesn't like Horror games that give you too much firepower, It is possible to have the feeling of being a one man army in a horror game while still having a looming sense of dread, and the ever preasent possiblilty of biting off more than you can chew. The FACT that no matter how much you have will never be enough to kill the Xenomorphs. Knowing that if you try to confront them it will only result in your own demise.
The Flesh That Hates Item #: SCP-610 Object Class: Keter Special Containment Procedures: Due to the vast area of 'infection' SCP-610 covers, containment is impossible. Technically, the SCP Foundation is an extra-government organization. Essentially, various governments of the world often fund the SCP Foundation and supply equipment/locations to the Foundation in exchange for containing their SCP's, while the SCP Foundation is entirely independent in structure and management from the nations of the world. Other similar organizations do exist, for singular nations such as the GRU Division P (Soviet Union), IJAMEA (Imperial Japan before 1945), Office for the Reclamation of Islamic Artifacts or ORIA (Iran), Unusual Incidents Unit-FBI (United States), and of course the GOC (United Nations). Most of these national agencies are either defunct as their host nations push funding to the SCP Foundation or are mired with political infighting and factionalism as they ultimately are instruments of the state. The only real danger to the Foundation is the Global Occult Coalition, a fellow international organization that draws on considerable funding from the UN and it's various nations.

Makes me wonder if you could fool them into thinking you are one of them. Like, clearly this version of 939 does not understand what they are “saying”. It’s just a highly evolved lure that might even work on multiple species of animal, even if humans are their main pray. Humans are very good at mimicking other animals, so if you managed to get the sound right, could you technically use their own ability against them and make them believe you are another pack member just responding to their call? Or are they like canines and would recognize that your call/voice does not belong to anyone in the pack? Maybe even view you as a potential rival?
Finally! The Flesh That Hates is one of my favorite Horrifying SCPs. I’m happy to see someone base an entire Game around it and it’s Containment. I’m looking forward to seeing what experiments The Foundation have come up with on Mars, especially for what information they could have Vaulted on that Site.
The Foundation having a government website might signal that this game takes place within the Broken Masquerade Canon, wherein the Foundation was unable to keep a veil of secrecy around their own existence and the existence of the anomalous in general. Seems to be the most popular canon lately.
Given the containment procedure for 610 they’d have to be known at least within very specific departments of government because it’s on Russian land and allowed by the Russian government if I remember correctly.
7:15 SCP: Pandemic is another fan game that is based around the concept of SCP-5000. It's still under development, but its based around an SCP that is rich in lore and revolves the idea of 'what if the SCP Foundation stopped protecting humanity.' As for SCP-3199, it is known as 'Humans, Refuted'. Nasty, carnivorous monsters that lay eggs like chickens, but breed like rats. Very hard to kill cause their eggs are indestructible, and everytime you kill one another egg is left behind.

I was searching up if the image of 610 was real like you said, @Nika Izanami. it in fact is real, but not a disease or anything. apparently SCP-610 is based on real-life sculptures filled with torture chambers, cannibalism, morbidity, and horrific creatures named Dream Diorama. Created by the Australian sculptor and painter Mark Powell. I still find it just as disturbing though.

Its really nice to finally see other SCPs get their turn in a game. Gotten really tired of just encountering the sane cast over and over again with just different designs. I especially love how many cryptids this one used, aka animal monsters, instead of humanoids or objects. I definitely find creatures with animal behaviors much more interesting than aliens or ghosts.XD

That small spider like creature in the beginning area is an incredibly dangerous SCP known as, ‘The Heart Of Darkness’. It’s incredibly hostile to all life forms, and had multiple ways of killing you, including those barbs on it’s tail. One of it’s signature traits is that it always rambles in completely nonsensical poetry while roaming and killing. So that’s where the whispering came from.
@@mee4644 Yes, it breached containment once and claimed the lives of multiple Foundation personnel and researchers. I think they stopped it once they threw enough lead at it, but I could be mistaken.

I absolutely love these games bringing the SCP universe to life, especially utilizing UE5 for development. My only complaint however is their introduction of SCP-610. Basically, in every interaction with "The Flesh That Hates", there is no way to protect against it. Just by standing within 10 meters of it gives a high probability of infection, so covering the walls with it Halo-flood style would guarantee infection with your character walking all over it and getting hit by instances of 610-1. Edit: Literally as I posted this comment, IGP mentioned that it reminded him of the Flood from Halo, kind of furthering my point.

I always wanted an SCP game that took inspiration from Alien: Isolation, because that’s definitely the vibe I’m getting here an aim really liking it. And a little bit of Prey in there too.
Your channel is so iconic in gaming TH-cam I actually used to think for years you were a gaming company giving trailer gameplay for games who decides to be more personable by commentating, not one dude playing it who is actually doing TH-cam.
The game definitely looks alluring and the SCPs contained in the facility are finally not the usual ones, makes the foundation much more expansive in retrospect... the only hard part is having to deal with action-oriented mechanics under pitch black darkness almost half the time, the game could use a bit more lighting (or at least, a much longer battery life) and wall-mounted lamps could definitely go above 20 Lumens.

I absolutely love when creators of SCP games use unusual SCPs, its always the basic like 5 - 10 scps (peanut, plague doctor, indestructible lizard, the mask, shy guy, etc), so it makes a game 10x more interesting (in my opinion) when they include these other SCPs that get absolutely ignored, there are thousands of SCPs and there is so much creative freedom behind them, I love creators,.like these ones, who take advantage of that.

Other similar organizations do exist, for singular nations such as the GRU Division P (Soviet Union), IJAMEA (Imperial Japan before 1945), Office for the Reclamation of Islamic Artifacts or ORIA (Iran), Unusual Incidents Unit-FBI (United States), and of course the GOC (United Nations). Most of these national agencies are either defunct as their host nations push funding to the SCP Foundation or are mired with political infighting and factionalism as they ultimately are instruments of the state. The only real danger to the Foundation is the Global Occult Coalition, a fellow international organization that draws on considerable funding from the UN and it's various nations.

Like, clearly this version of 939 does not understand what they are “saying”. It’s just a highly evolved lure that might even work on multiple species of animal, even if humans are their main pray.
Humans are very good at mimicking other animals, so if you managed to get the sound right, could you technically use their own ability against them and make them believe you are another pack member just responding to their call?
Or are they like canines and would recognize that your call/voice does not belong to anyone in the pack? Maybe even view you as a potential rival?

Finally! The Flesh That Hates is one of my favorite Horrifying SCPs. I’m happy to see someone base an entire Game around it and it’s Containment. I’m looking forward to seeing what experiments The Foundation have come up with on Mars, especially for what information they could have Vaulted on that Site.

The Foundation having a government website might signal that this game takes place within the Broken Masquerade Canon, wherein the Foundation was unable to keep a veil of secrecy around their own existence and the existence of the anomalous in general. Seems to be the most popular canon lately.
Given the containment procedure for 610 they’d have to be known at least within very specific departments of government because it’s on Russian land and allowed by the Russian government if I remember correctly.
7:15 SCP: Pandemic is another fan game that is based around the concept of SCP-5000. It's still under development, but its based around an SCP that is rich in lore and revolves the idea of 'what if the SCP Foundation stopped protecting humanity.'
As for SCP-3199, it is known as 'Humans, Refuted'. Nasty, carnivorous monsters that lay eggs like chickens, but breed like rats. Very hard to kill cause their eggs are indestructible, and everytime you kill one another egg is left behind.

I was searching up if the image of 610 was real like you said, @Nika Izanami. it in fact is real, but not a disease or anything. apparently SCP-610 is based on real-life sculptures filled with torture chambers, cannibalism, morbidity, and horrific creatures named Dream Diorama. Created by the Australian sculptor and painter Mark Powell.
I still find it just as disturbing though.

Its really nice to finally see other SCPs get their turn in a game. Gotten really tired of just encountering the sane cast over and over again with just different designs.
I especially love how many cryptids this one used, aka animal monsters, instead of humanoids or objects. I definitely find creatures with animal behaviors much more interesting than aliens or ghosts.XD

I absolutely love SCP content, it is what got me into horror and weird fiction!
That small spider like creature in the beginning area is an incredibly dangerous SCP known as, ‘The Heart Of Darkness’. It’s incredibly hostile to all life forms, and had multiple ways of killing you, including those barbs on it’s tail. One of it’s signature traits is that it always rambles in completely nonsensical poetry while roaming and killing. So that’s where the whispering came from.

@@mee4644 Yes, it breached containment once and claimed the lives of multiple Foundation personnel and researchers. I think they stopped it once they threw enough lead at it, but I could be mistaken.

I absolutely love these games bringing the SCP universe to life, especially utilizing UE5 for development. My only complaint however is their introduction of SCP-610. Basically, in every interaction with "The Flesh That Hates", there is no way to protect against it. Just by standing within 10 meters of it gives a high probability of infection, so covering the walls with it Halo-flood style would guarantee infection with your character walking all over it and getting hit by instances of 610-1.
Edit: Literally as I posted this comment, IGP mentioned that it reminded him of the Flood from Halo, kind of furthering my point.

SCP 610 is one of my absolute favorites ever. It's entire log is so interesting along with the lore of the sarkic cults, it's very much worth listening to

The game definitely looks alluring and the SCPs contained in the facility are finally not the usual ones, makes the foundation much more expansive in retrospect... the only hard part is having to deal with action-oriented mechanics under pitch black darkness almost half the time, the game could use a bit more lighting (or at least, a much longer battery life) and wall-mounted lamps could definitely go above 20 Lumens.

I absolutely love when creators of SCP games use unusual SCPs, its always the basic like 5 - 10 scps (peanut, plague doctor, indestructible lizard, the mask, shy guy, etc), so it makes a game 10x more interesting (in my opinion) when they include these other SCPs that get absolutely ignored, there are thousands of SCPs and there is so much creative freedom behind them, I love creators,.like these ones, who take advantage of that.
