I'm sorry sir I'm sorry sir. The live album that Daft Punk released (this video) was less than half of the complete set that they played. This person here listed the complete track list for their whole show, including parts not in this TH-cam video
this is the correct set-list. My cousin was at Que Club for a Bachelor party with the groom. they came in late and entered during 10 Minutes of Funk. Daft punk cut out half of the track alive, where they distorted the synth (as heard in hultsfred).
+etK Official Their first single was in 1995 with "The New Wave" (B-side "Assault" and "Alive" (new wave final mix)) Alive from Homework is the finished version of "The New Wave" "Musique" was the B-side to their next single "Da Funk"
I saw it too and we bought masks to wear, I was so high on E and hot wearing the plastic masks, having half the floor ask if I was with the band was awesome and daft punk pointing at us felt like heaven lol.
25:00 I was there. It was fucking cool. I was beyond out of it yet still remember that night somehow. They went hard when they wanted to, not so much now.
I only wish i could have seen them at 1997 and 2007 Alive. I am a huge fan of daft punk ever since i was about 8.. well I'm only 15 now, but you know all ages should know of the legendary Daft Punk! anyways you're welcome =)
When I was 5, my Dad had bought around the world and one more time on vinyl because he was a DJ at the time, every day he would play it on the turntables and I remember he always telling me how excited people where when they her him drop it at that time I loved it, but as the years went by I forgotten about Daft Punk. It took 10 years for me to remember the legends. Im 16 now, not a fan since I was 5 but a fan now that I remember
I agree a lot with that... it happened before with Kayne West. Get Lucky is a great song! but not the only good song Daft Punk has made, not at all... they are legends! They really shouldn't let a smaller artist steal all the credit, but maybe it was just a part of the advertising they were going for? i personally like their old stuff the best, because it had an awesome insanity feel to it... but they still make awesome music and will forever be DJ Legends! just enjoy the music haha
Dear God. Think the point hes making is the original post suggested they sampled something... the later post is they used that same something again. If you look at it, every song they made of samples, so if they use their own 10 years later whats the biggie? They know how to make all music their own in more ways than anyone.
Alive 2007 was a mashup of all of their past music, so yes, it would be a great idea to sample their original alive album! Also, 4:34 isn't the only place that they used, there are plenty of places I can hear in this recording!
I agree with that, RAM this year was definitely different. but it was good in a different way... i personally love their older stuff more though, but daft punk is still Daft Punk!
haha yea, the way they cut the samples down and mixed it to the point where the songs were almost unrecognizable in this, blew my mind the first time i heard it
I'm glad someone finally uploaded a good copy of this album. I've been listening on wax and it's just not the same. Any news on a Alive 2020 album since Daft missed 2017 somehow?

imagine not getting the joke, even after being here 200 days in the following.

That dude whistling along at 29:20 is killing it.

Once you get to Rollin' and Scratchin', you will fucking lose it.

Are U sure about "Fresh" at this set? It's definitely not a dancing track.I mean it wouldn't suit Alive '97
this is the correct set-list. My cousin was at Que Club for a Bachelor party with the groom. they came in late and entered during 10 Minutes of Funk.
Daft punk cut out half of the track alive, where they distorted the synth (as heard in hultsfred).
Recorded live at Q club in Birmingham u.k England ✌🏻
It's been over 20 years since they released their first single, "Alive". God bless you, Daft Punk!

Tried to watch today's Tomorrowland on YT. Nope, nope, nope, had to get a detox session with the best DJs ever.
Who else is listening to this in 1997?
What a night this was! One of the best live shows i've been to!
Wish I could see video footage of this. They were so raw back then. This is how you have to listen to Homework.
31/10/97 With Daft Punk. This set. Glasgow Barrowlands. A top ten night of my whole life. So glad they released this.
Amen
Nah, this was recorded at Birmingham's legendary Que Club the same year. I have read though that the gig in Glasgow was also legendary.
They have always been masters of the live show!
I miss the 90s.

are they really going to do that?
+Pau Gil I mean, Alive 1997, Alive 2007, it only makes sense that they have an Alive 2017. Although nothing has been confirmed yet, we can only hope.
Whoa! Rollin' & Scratchin' live is still deadly in 2018! Synth filth of the highest order:D
unpopular opinion: this is better than alive 2007.
Neil Carman no brainer 👍
Neil Carman ofc this is better ahah

joshua fernadese Yeah same, Short Circuit before it became Short Circuit
That's because Short Circuit was originally going to be in Homework.

Wonder how they sampled that whistling noise at 29:50... sounds so real
That's actually a real person! If you listen to any other sets from them, you won't hear that.
I was born in '97. Long live Daft Punk!!!
Jesus this goes by so quickly! Great set! Soooo much energy!

Better Than Alive 2007

1997 for the music
2007 for the lightshow
