My favorite parts from every song that give me chills: Robot Rock / Oh Yeah - 0:12 - How the "ROBOT" parts only mimic the visuals the human has made & dont evolve. Television Rules the Nation / Crescendolls - 12:22 - The first tv-inside-a-tv backward zoom moment. - 13:15 - Suddenly dropping into endless tv zooming. - 13:47 - Endless tv zooming becomes electrically supercharged. - 15:32 - The spirals climax & go absolutely crazy.
Too Long / Steam Machine - 16:52 - The sudden transition into this song in the wave tunnel. - 18:23 - The music suddenly becomes chill & queue the slow psychedelic evolving tunnel zoom. - 21:27 - The sudden stop during "we dont move." - 22:29 - When it zooms all the way back into a speck of static colored dust & steam machine hits with smoke. Around the World / Harder Better Faster Stronger - 24:09 - It suddenly goes technicolor. - 26:26 - The electric lines of "work it, make it, do it makes us" while traveling along a digital globe with internet connection lines connecting humanity. - 26:56 - The slow meandering thruogh the tunnel suddenly picks up speed & gets electrified. - 27:42 - My favorite moment of the entire video. One More Time / Aerodynamic - 41:58 - From black & white bells to a sudden burst of color as one more time intro hits. - 44:17 - Getting suddenly thrust into the center of the hexagon from before as the music gets chaotic. - 45:50 - Full glossy black & neon rainbow tech tunnel. - 47:38 - Zooming back with the electric light river amidst this mountain landscape, with the interruption moment when it says "one more time" then returning. Aerodynamic Beats / Forget About the World - 48:09 - The way the torus shapes turn with the beat. - 48:25 - How the music matches wandering this cave of neon pillars. - 50:17 - The way the visuals flash matching the beat exactly. - 50:55 - This brainwasher heartbeat. Prime Time of Your Life / Brainwasher / Rollin' and Scratchin' / Alive - 51:26 - The music cuts suddenly with "prime time of your life" & the robots make their first appearance. Iconic photos of them amidst iconic places in Paris, France. - 54:00 - This long sequence of the entire video seen thus far rewinding to the beginning. - 54:37 - Getting to the beginning of the video & fast-forwarding back through it all. - 59:31 - This entire sequence that pays tribute by showing original footage from every visual / music video from every song daft punk has ever released. Human After All / Together / One More Time / Music Sounds Better With You - 1:14:18 - How the visuals of this entire 84 min video increase in complexity, starting with simple lines & dots from song 1, 2D visuals, 3D visuals, then finally arriving at photorealistic imagery. - 1:16:21 - Zooming into the eye that keeps going an going to reveal an entire world in there. - 1:17:30 - Realizing that paradoxically by zooming into a the depths of a human eye you somehow end up in outer space, a metaphor of for how everything is interconnected & one. - 1:19:32 - The robot helmets make a psychedelic neon pixel-hazed appearance. - 1:20:15 - This rainbow road in space during the one more time reprise. - 1:20:46 - How the flashing pyramid from song 1 pays tribute the beginning. The ending containing the beginning, a metaphor for interconnectedness & non-linear time of quantum physics. - 1:22:29 - A nod to the esoteric symbolism of "squaring the circle" found within sacred geometry & occult spirituality, referencing golden ratio (phi) & da'vinci's Vitruvian Man. - 1:22:44 - Zooming out from the scale of atoms, to the scale of earth, to the farthest reaches of the universe. - 1:23:10 - Ending with the official ALIVE 2007 logo as it slowly pulses with audio-visual electric current.
Still sad about them breaking up. This is the absolute closest thing I can get to seeing a Daft Punk concert. Thank you for sinking those 2.5 years into this project!
45:00 when the guitar starts around here u did a great job of getting that energy into the visuals man holy shit! I visualise colours at this part and I don’t even have synthesia
Thanks. I also love how the shakiness of that part really connects to the guitar riff energy. Also, you might be surprised. Synesthesia is a lot more common than people think. also many people have very mild forms so they never question that their experience might be lightly enmeshed with other senses like color & space. its just a thing people dont talk about.
@@XeroFoxx oh shit fr? That could be the case. I might just have it very mildly then, because its not super obvios, but i don't have to think very hard at all for me to relate music to a visual (it kinda just happens). Also the camera shake adds alot. Love it and great work.
That is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE part of the ENTIRE video! -- During production I was tempted to use the exploding pyramid visual multiple times, but I decided to intentionally only use it only ONCE to keep it special... It marks the ultimate climax moment of my absolute favorite song from ALIVE 2007. I love your comment & I love that you managed to identify my favorite part of the entire 84 min visualization. You're on my same Wavelength fellow robot-human.
I hear ya. Depending on your setup. In the description is a downloadable 360⁰ VR version. Designed specifically for that. So 180⁰ it's in front of you & another version tiled 180⁰ behind you. Its incredible. If you have the setup to allow for downloading VR videos. I highly recommend it.
Another great one! I love that these give people a little taste of what auditory synesthesia can be like. With your videos I don't have to close my eyes to enjoy the music and visuals, so I can keep using the computer.
I’m surprised you didn’t get a seizure while making this! This is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, But really also really Seizure inducing. This video took me on an absolutely wonderful trip! I can’t wait to see what else you will post!
This whole concert vid. is one of my best recomends to mix with DMX life enhancing medication (responsibly). Made me happy like no other day in my 23 years of life. Daft Punk. For ever missed. I wont give up because you did this for all of us. I wish i could be in a concert with both of yall on stage. Peace ✌️
By DXM do you mean dextromethorphan? Interesting compound but still something I would certainly put a lot more warnings about how to responsibly use it than that - If you're taking serotonin based meds already (such as anti-depressants, "ssris" "ssnris" etc) taking something like DXM with such a massive serotonin impact could give u the fucking HORRIBLE serotonin syndrome, which i've had, and it SUCKS DONKEY BALLS. Do your research, treat every substance with respect, ask if you have questions, and remember that you can ALWAYS go a little farther next time, but you can't un-do button a lot of times that you felt like you were invincible and why not go YOLO.
Just about as great as you could want for this type of recording. Live it must be even on a higher level, but if you play this recording with the right set, setting, and recipe, it can be quite a wonderful time still.
40:45 my visuals not as strong as this but when these ending open chords that conclude the song start playing and slowly get more ?pixelly? I too see (at the very least think of) a vast open space or galaxy. Amazing how well this video encapsulates this.
ahh thanks! I always love hearing when someone 'feels it' too. Despite lack of synesthesia. It still clearly universally triggers the same area's of our brains when the audio/visuals are so enmeshed. so fascinating
THAT IS FUUUUACKIN AMAZING AMNNNN HOLY SHHHHIIIITTTT. BRO NO WAYY I FEALT THIS SO BAD TOO BUT YOU WERE THE ONE TO CARRY THIS AMAZING MASTERPIECE BRO THANK YOU DUADE I LOVE YOU MANN. Hell yhyeahha. Goodngiht sleep Bro. Hell Yheaaha. Goodnight

Yes. Its the same. Just way better in quality at 4k. Originally at the time I hadn't rendered the 4k version. And now that I live in a place with a blazing internet connection. Uploading the 70gb file is finally a possibility.

Great UPgraded video. Less macroblockin' makes the trip even more intense. Thank you.
Beautiful work. I really enjoyed both visuals and music. Amazingly appealing ❤️ 48:38 gave me a tingling sensation in the spine for some reason.
That's cool to hear. Its interesting what can happen when areas of the brain that process sound & visuals are in sync.
good music does that to an mf. At least for me, happens alot with songs that rly connect and expertly convey their emotions/abstracts/stories
