    Thanks for putting the time to do this video. I'm replacing my rollers today so wish me luck. By the way, I don't know if it's a good idea to put lithium grease on the rollers due to all of the lint floating around inside that dryer. That may get caught up in that grease, but just my two cents.

    My Samsung moisture sensor doesn’t have an access panel in the back for the belt?

    • @carmac1652
      @carmac1652  ปีที่แล้ว

      A moisture sensor is where the is by the lint filter to get to your belt some machines to take the whole front face off I have videos on it thanks for watching

    And the motor & pulley are side by side in the thumbnail, but the video they're arranged vertically. Clearly 2 different dryers! I would gladly pay a repair man than listen to this guy drone on about cleaning parts & crinkled belts again!

    • @justinkemp4475
      @justinkemp4475 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ....without the tension of the belt the pulley system sits side by side. It gets pulled vertical when you put the dryer belt on. I litterally just had to replace my dryer belt and i thought it was to big because it sat side by side. Thankfully i watched the video and saw that the belt had to set the pulley vertical.

  • @MrCoreyStorm
    @MrCoreyStorm ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanks!! So, if that pully drops, it'll send a message that the belt broke I guess, 'eh?

    • @carmac1652
      @carmac1652  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes there's a switch on the Polly . thanks for watching

    • @josephkilleen7807
      @josephkilleen7807 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The only message it will "send" is that the dryer controls will light up, but when you push the start button nothing will happen. When you take the top off the dryer, you'll be able to tell immediately if the belt is broken worth it has just come off the pulley.

      You have to take the top off and the front panel completely off then you will have access underneath to replace the belt .I have a video on it . They're usually Maytag .that are not easy . thanks for watching 👍 I will put up the link

    Samsung is complete junk. Bought washer/dryer combo - middle of road quality (about 1450 for the pair). 2 sets of suspension rods, drain solenoid and housing assembly and a lid pin upgrade kit... then the control board went out. It was 3 years old. Threw it out.
    Dryer started making noise and just stopped spinning. Now the unit trips the breaker. May be heading for the scrap pile. Don't buy samsung junk. They are pretty and work well at first but they don't last long and replacement parts are garbage.
