I don't care about skins, but have you seen how garbage the combat became ? Every reworks has a touch of Death, or some bullshit move such as Haymaker, Oblivion of Death, Bruford. All of them also have absolutely no endlag and have giant lingering hitboxes. If you missed Jawbreaker pre-rework, you were gonna suffer, if you miss it now, there is no risk anyway.

I always felt the downfall of yba was two fold: 1.Less is more when it comes to making a fun balanced digestable and fluid moveset 2.lack of new content keeping people invested I say this as not one stand had less than 10 moves after stone free, and every last spec was reworked and overcomplicated requiring moveset switching between your stand and spec just to play with all your options, every update after stone free to a lot of older players like myself felt like content was being removed, not added

if they would try to balance the reworks and not add so many skins, and actually add a new stand every now and then, or a rework which is balanced. i think it would be great. The effects would be awesome and there wouldn't be outdated effects and stands which look bad, and doesn't fit the game any longer.

What killed YBA for me is that every rework just gives the stand double-digit moves that all combo into eachother. I liked it better when stands were simple, but powerful, requiring skill to get value out of them, but now anyone can just mash buttons with any reworked stand and do tons of damage. I mained KC and I can only imagine what Uzu would do with it.
I remember pouring so many hours into steel ball run, I used crazy diamond because I sucked and it made people want to keep me alive for heals, I'd use it with hamon because the dmg increase from rage and hamon would stack and do dummy damage, I'd also trap people in the arcade using the wall, crazy how I'm tearing up over a fucking Lego game bruh
totally agree, I joined yba around December of 2021 and I totally loved it. even though it was very simple and the map was small, it still was fun, with the update of the new map and new stands being added made me think yba had a great team. Until what you mentioned about the money and the inactivity. I miss the old YBA and the updates has been repetitive. skins and reworks :(.

Did 0 research at all, a main part of the falloff was the new reworks not being broken, but because they had like 20 moves. He completely changed the combat system for no reason and you have to play the piano to fight someone with the new abilities.

I was so dedicated to yba but since it took ages to update, one year ago, I joined yba au and a dev gave me some gamepasses for being an active player and for that I got banned from yba and lost a Jacko SP base 2021 and a few more skins. it's such a shame, if they completely abandoned the game a good deal earlier i would still be coming back to it, but they felt the need to push out generic half hearted updates that made the game into something else before abandoning it. i dont know what possessed uzu to turn a unique soulful skill based game with potential prospects outside of roblox into a generic ability spam roblox anime fighter, just so unfortunate

We can clearly see that uzukee started the game with a lot of passion and dedication, but eventually he left all of that behind. I will always remember this game because of his unique fighting mechanics, not the brainless 4 moves and one super move battleground game. After the downfall of aut i was left with no interesting fighting games, i hope that in the future a good team somehow uses the yba mechanics or attleast his gamemodes to make a good fighting game.
I think it would’ve been interesting if you compared YBA to other Jojo games to give more insight on why YBA was getting more popular. You could talk about ABD dying or AUT being down. Essentially YBA had no competition at the time. But overall good video
i was a player who played many many years ago, like maybe 5 at this point. It was an amazing game with one of the best combats ive ever seen. One uzu left for two months the players started getting much better, including myself. The game objective ballence was indeed pretty rough, a lot of things like the bullshit combo(if you know you know) made it hard to play somtimes. But the the thing that made all of that ok was the fact that if you were good enough, you could win with anything, play skill balenced the game because their were no true stun in it. But when uzu returned and i was exited for it i played, a lot but as more and more broken shit came out it got worse and worse, became pretty clear that all it was at this point was a unballenced mess that cant be redemmed. The only hope I have for it anymore is if they release another instance of the game on roblox that is just the game before uzu returned, even if no one self plays it I would.(also sorry for the grammer problems, my English sucks)

Yeah fr, back then the stands with combos were strong (SP boxing, KC hamon, etc) but required skill, now it's just spam of attacks, keys, etc.

What killed YBA for me is that every rework just gives the stand double-digit moves that all combo into eachother. I liked it better when stands were simple, but powerful, requiring skill to get value out of them, but now anyone can just mash buttons with any reworked stand and do tons of damage. I mained KC and I can only imagine what Uzu would do with it.

I remember pouring so many hours into steel ball run, I used crazy diamond because I sucked and it made people want to keep me alive for heals, I'd use it with hamon because the dmg increase from rage and hamon would stack and do dummy damage, I'd also trap people in the arcade using the wall, crazy how I'm tearing up over a fucking Lego game bruh

totally agree, I joined yba around December of 2021 and I totally loved it. even though it was very simple and the map was small, it still was fun, with the update of the new map and new stands being added made me think yba had a great team. Until what you mentioned about the money and the inactivity. I miss the old YBA and the updates has been repetitive. skins and reworks :(.

Did 0 research at all, a main part of the falloff was the new reworks not being broken, but because they had like 20 moves. He completely changed the combat system for no reason and you have to play the piano to fight someone with the new abilities.

I was so dedicated to yba but since it took ages to update, one year ago, I joined yba au and a dev gave me some gamepasses for being an active player and for that I got banned from yba and lost a Jacko SP base 2021 and a few more skins. it's such a shame, if they completely abandoned the game a good deal earlier i would still be coming back to it, but they felt the need to push out generic half hearted updates that made the game into something else before abandoning it. i dont know what possessed uzu to turn a unique soulful skill based game with potential prospects outside of roblox into a generic ability spam roblox anime fighter, just so unfortunate

We can clearly see that uzukee started the game with a lot of passion and dedication, but eventually he left all of that behind. I will always remember this game because of his unique fighting mechanics, not the brainless 4 moves and one super move battleground game.
After the downfall of aut i was left with no interesting fighting games, i hope that in the future a good team somehow uses the yba mechanics or attleast his gamemodes to make a good fighting game.
I think it would’ve been interesting if you compared YBA to other Jojo games to give more insight on why YBA was getting more popular. You could talk about ABD dying or AUT being down. Essentially YBA had no competition at the time. But overall good video
YBA is an exact example of those old Roblox Games that you used to play that it was fun while it lasted
i was a player who played many many years ago, like maybe 5 at this point. It was an amazing game with one of the best combats ive ever seen. One uzu left for two months the players started getting much better, including myself. The game objective ballence was indeed pretty rough, a lot of things like the bullshit combo(if you know you know) made it hard to play somtimes. But the the thing that made all of that ok was the fact that if you were good enough, you could win with anything, play skill balenced the game because their were no true stun in it. But when uzu returned and i was exited for it i played, a lot but as more and more broken shit came out it got worse and worse, became pretty clear that all it was at this point was a unballenced mess that cant be redemmed. The only hope I have for it anymore is if they release another instance of the game on roblox that is just the game before uzu returned, even if no one self plays it I would.(also sorry for the grammer problems, my English sucks)
