When a bunch of hackers decided to fuck up the game thats when they decided for whatever reason they would make a total data reset so everyone went back to square one this is when most of the fanbase just gave up on an already dying game and then so did the owner

All developers ruin their games with skins and by making their players addicted to getting legendary skins that are literally too hard to get. Instead of adding new skins or making another battleground game the Creator of YBA should add more stands to the game. I miss 2019-2021 YBA
I don't care about skins, but have you seen how garbage the combat became ? Every reworks has a touch of Death, or some bullshit move such as Haymaker, Oblivion of Death, Bruford.
All of them also have absolutely no endlag and have giant lingering hitboxes. If you missed Jawbreaker pre-rework, you were gonna suffer, if you miss it now, there is no risk anyway.

its simple, netflix ruined the jojo hype because of the way they handled stone ocean releases. The reason roblox jojo games was going so strong back then was because Golden Wind releases every week and the hype stays SOOO much longer.

@@geographynonsensical5003 jojo games were doing just fine before golden wind anime released, its just that when Golden Wind Anime was airing, the hype for it was so great that roblox jojo game genres became a very huge success back then, Pre-GW anime jojo games were decently successful but it still caters on a niche audience because Jojo wasnt really the talk of the town that time, and I remember around 25k-30k was its peak playerbase, During GW anime, Jojo games playerbase SKYROCKETED, Peaking 100k players, example is YBA's heaven update and AUT's new universe release It was crazy lol
The reworks after Heaven Update are what ruined the game for me. Broken combos, inf beat downs. Not the same as the charming M1 combos back in the day. 😓
Yeah fr, back then the stands with combos were strong (SP boxing, KC hamon, etc) but required skill, now it's just spam of attacks, keys, etc.

I played the shit out of that game until I was accused of cheating with no proof and I was banned. Needless to say I was happy about this downfall
cuz u prolly did cheat. admins have a cctv system recorded on every player
lmao same i was banned under the "suspicion" of exploiting because apparently the words "bruh moment" (i was like 12) were words that were used by exploiters this caused my first ban. Second ban i was also accused of exploiting with no proof because i was a tusk user and kept beating people up this got me spam reported and banned AGAIN. Third time i was banned for another suspicion of exploiting as i was flung out the map by a random glitch, needless to say this got me to quit....

@@plasmacrimson thought the same thing but I once contacted an admin to unban my friend who said he got banned for no reason and did not cheat. Believed him without a doubt but the admin just sent me a clip of him exploiting in SBR in spectator camera.
@@kurimu. that means the admin was in that sbr server. he probably saw your friend exploiting, used the spectate command on him, then just clipped him for proof and banned him. and if youre still not convinced, yba currently has 7 thousand concurrent players. assuming those players play for a couple of hours that would be around 10000 hours of footage and thats not accounting for everyone thats ever played the game for any amount of time. that footage has to be either watched live by a couple of people (which is impossible) or stored somewhere and files of that size would have to be stored on multiple fucking nasa supercomputers. admins do NOT have cctv systems on every player.
I played YBA since 2020 - 2023. I miss the old 2021 YBA, it was really fun. Even though back then finding rokas and arrows were a pain in the ass, I still miss the old times
i pretty much was forced to quit yba 2024 because of a group constantly trying to harass me, the harassment started at least 2022.

2020 & 2021 was a peak experience for me. I always hop on with my bros to do gang war, SBR and try out new things whenever the update comes up. Nowadays all of us drop it when Uzu went out for far too long just to come back with new skins
The reason I feel like me and a lot of my friend quit YBA is due to us preferring the old YBA, before everything was complicated. ( I miss the old map man. )

prime yba was sick, and well, eventually everything may die, including yba.

i loved yba and i was playing till the part5 map update , then it started to be lame and boring for a free to play player , nowdays im hoping and counting on Dj.

The game is dead when they add “Skin rarity” “common 60%, uncommon 30%” etc…which damning make players pay a lot or grind the damn out of their life just to get trash ass skin.

It was small but the memories of that map created was bigger
if they would try to balance the reworks and not add so many skins, and actually add a new stand every now and then, or a rework which is balanced. i think it would be great. The effects would be awesome and there wouldn't be outdated effects and stands which look bad, and doesn't fit the game any longer.
Summer of 2022 was the best time for yba, in my opinion, it is what got me into jojos and than anime like one piece aot jjk, i used to hate anime but now, i love it. Yba opened my world and its prime was perfect.
Honestly, playing YBA was fine for me as I used to play this and later quit, I don’t really care about stand skins, I just wanted to play a JoJo game
Yba was the first game me and my friends really grinded in, me and my friends were always online getting new stands, trying to max out as soon as possible, we all did the mih grind, which was too much yet disappointing, mih deserves a rework. It’s so sad to see it go, but every game will eventually go out.
I loved this game back in the day I stopped playing like right before stone free came out, but I was the biggest fan ever. I had like 20 alt accounts that all had some kind of skin, and had every stand in the game at the time. I had all the combos down and could have fun with any stand. Now days all I hear is how broken the combat is with so many stands having one shot capabilities, and that it’s becoming a skin game, and now that they added random crits for some unholy reason I don’t think I’ll ever go back.
Now I just miss playing like before, Uzu managed to destroy his own game

What killed YBA for me is that every rework just gives the stand double-digit moves that all combo into eachother. I liked it better when stands were simple, but powerful, requiring skill to get value out of them, but now anyone can just mash buttons with any reworked stand and do tons of damage. I mained KC and I can only imagine what Uzu would do with it.
To be honest, remembering old yba, even with bugs, double barrages, one shot ts and all of that. I would give a lot to return it. These times were amazing, not even talking about the yba's peak moment. But now. It just feels empty inside when i think about the fact that i can't return my, i think, life's favorite game because it became a money cow for the devs. That's like. There is no option to just join a certain update, you just have to face the new game. Considering i tried to be a yba ytber, i am so glad i at least reached the peak of what i can possibly do in the game right when it was at it's peak
But really, it's hard to realize there is no other game i can learn as deep as yba, because it's either will give nothing in return, or make the game too boring and simple. Uzukee got so lucky by making these almost perfect mechanics that somehow worked well with each other just by accident, after trying and trying different ways. He could not value enough something he got that easy, so he lost it
And please, don't tell me other games that are similar or so, especially battlegrounds games. Ye, some of them are good, but not a single one will give you SUCH an amount of options for gameplay for example to win with a starter character or win blindfolded, don't you agree

i was a player who played many many years ago, like maybe 5 at this point. It was an amazing game with one of the best combats ive ever seen. One uzu left for two months the players started getting much better, including myself. The game objective ballence was indeed pretty rough, a lot of things like the bullshit combo(if you know you know) made it hard to play somtimes. But the the thing that made all of that ok was the fact that if you were good enough, you could win with anything, play skill balenced the game because their were no true stun in it. But when uzu returned and i was exited for it i played, a lot but as more and more broken shit came out it got worse and worse, became pretty clear that all it was at this point was a unballenced mess that cant be redemmed. The only hope I have for it anymore is if they release another instance of the game on roblox that is just the game before uzu returned, even if no one self plays it I would.(also sorry for the grammer problems, my English sucks)
As a perfectionist, this game skill tree made me mad more than anything

The balancing is also one of the things that kicked off many players. Today everything is too overpowered and instead of being skill based its based off who will land their combo starter first

Prime yba was so much fun but it was annoying that they didnt patch SBR bugs that kept banning people. (Me included)

it's such a shame, if they completely abandoned the game a good deal earlier i would still be coming back to it, but they felt the need to push out generic half hearted updates that made the game into something else before abandoning it. i dont know what possessed uzu to turn a unique soulful skill based game with potential prospects outside of roblox into a generic ability spam roblox anime fighter, just so unfortunate
We can clearly see that uzukee started the game with a lot of passion and dedication, but eventually he left all of that behind. I will always remember this game because of his unique fighting mechanics, not the brainless 4 moves and one super move battleground game.
After the downfall of aut i was left with no interesting fighting games, i hope that in the future a good team somehow uses the yba mechanics or attleast his gamemodes to make a good fighting game.

I think it would’ve been interesting if you compared YBA to other Jojo games to give more insight on why YBA was getting more popular. You could talk about ABD dying or AUT being down. Essentially YBA had no competition at the time. But overall good video

i quit when the vamp rework came out, some of my best yba memories is bossraiding public servers with kcr and old vamp
My best memory is when me and half of the server ran the paragon cafe back in the old map and gave orders to customers... then suddenly someone tried to attack my staff so i pulled out my cmoon and did the G + Y +T boxing combo on him and everyone treated me like a god cause I had c moon

totally agree, I joined yba around December of 2021 and I totally loved it. even though it was very simple and the map was small, it still was fun, with the update of the new map and new stands being added made me think yba had a great team. Until what you mentioned about the money and the inactivity. I miss the old YBA and the updates has been repetitive. skins and reworks :(.

I was soo hooked up with the game before the new map update, after they updated my low-end pc wouldn't let me play it and they never optimized the map
It’s also because some mobile players kept crashing whenever joining the game, and I’m not sure about this but some say that paradoz said, “just get a computer lol” not sure though.

I'm a veteran of the game, and you have no idea how much potential it has if they would just focus on making updates for stands that really need it, plus it's fun to play on a map of Naples since I'm from Naples hahaha
after i lost my stands on ALL of my accounts around (think it was) 2021, I simply stopped playing. That was the final straw for me.
I lost a bunch of skins and a stand I grinded so much for so I gave up too lol
what killed it for me at first was weird combat (you can't see enemies health bar and every fight seemed as if you were fighting an immortal dude because you didin't even know how much dmg you did to him) weird reason but yeah everyone has thier own prefrences but i joined back because one of my friends kept bragging about it and i thought i'd love it since i could see the health bar but naaaaaaaaaaaaaah i hate the new stand looks, i hate the new map and i hate shit ton of things about it but well roblox jojo games were always not my favorite because the community is destined to be toxic as fuck

Bro, I got banned from this game for getting gifted by a dev on yba au. I was so dedicated to yba but since it took ages to update, one year ago, I joined yba au and a dev gave me some gamepasses for being an active player and for that I got banned from yba and lost a Jacko SP base 2021 and a few more skins. Please devs unban me

Tbh if uzu just keeped the old map with a little revamp (adding some textures and details) it would be great. Another problem was the new stands and reworks, they just didn't feel like YBA and were too complex, with too much moves and too overpowered. (The only one that i kinda liked was soft and wet, despite it being op)
The old map is nostalgic but the actual map isn't bad, what the game lacks is endgame and just updates for now

Man i had same opinion with you, when i played this game around the end of 2021 (october) until the end of 2022, my Roblox application storage was almost 9gigabyte which is very overloaded than the storage data of PUBG but it was a good experience to play yba in my life😢

the downfall is just like aut, from a beloved game to barely have any players.Just like yba most of the players who still playing the game have alot of valueable things.The game changed too much and alot of ppl dont seems to like it, i used to play both yba and aut with my friends, it was a good memories.But if yba drop an good update im pretty sure ppl will be back,and not like aut
IMO i feel that the main factor separating “Old YBA” stands and “New YBA” stands were the lack of a clear defining win condition and neutral gameplay due to the sheer amount of BS moves in a single stand. An example to demonstrate old YBA’s stand appeal is the Hand. The hand IMO is a mid tier character and a very fair and balanced pick in the old YBA meta.
Sure, it had two STRONG moves, however without considering the use of specs, the Hand had only one combo extender; Erasure 1. This essentially outlined the hands entire win condition , making him very predictable in neutral. On top of that erasure had a very lenient party window which forced its the Hand users to intentionally mix up m1 combos and panic barrage options to land the move. As such when i lost against a the Hand player l, it felt as though it was entirely my fault.
Now if we were to compare that to newer stands like soft and wet,
literally every move does massive damage and due to the sheer amount of abilities in its arsenal it leads to spammy gameplay. Furthermore, The amount of moves that act as combo starters are practically their entire arsenal. Therefore there is no clear win condition, there is nothing to “predict” or expect from you other opponent; They simply just have a better stand.
Man... what a good journey... i will miss this game like a lot, ik that is still playable but, its not the same thing for me, i grinded for hours, played for hours! I miss the rkers on the arcade, it was like "the spot" of fun, i miss the simple effects i miss all but nothing is forever i guess. I will always keep the good memories.

Honestly, I stopped seeing YBA for the entire toxic community.
The game was killed by EXTREME laziness of the dev team, lack of consistent updates and utter lack of understanding on what community actually wants. At one point in time im pretty sure after stone free update we literally had skin after skin update. No real content have been actually added to the game, specs and stands have been just getting reworked and those reworks go against core mechanics of old yba with long annoying combos, i really loved quirky simple movesets that focus on setting up damage with m1s (like star platinum) or are damaging tools on their own (like twau)
uzukee had the audacity to say "YBA will return" then proceed to gut his game more with more skins and garbage stand reworks with 100 million moves that take half your keyboard, and dont forget adding an entrapping move that confirms any move in the game because uzukee doesnt know how to make a proper moveset

Everything was fine until he added a new map and started changing the fighting styles
I want everything to be the same as before.. Old Map.. Happy and Friendly Players.. Big Online and Old Fight styles
Make updates once a month by adding new stands and 1-2 New skins
And improve the map a little, bringing small external changes
But he Messed it up with 1 Big update
