    Watched your other video on this I’m gonna try to augment your script to have it: make a new day folder (name it based on previous day name), add sub file directories and put ia copy on a raid and one of 6 different temp drives IF one of them is connected….then turn it into a streamdeck button. Hope it works.

    The domain is not registered anymore/link is not working :( but good to know that it can just be downloaded, as I want to create this exact workflow for my team, as I made out with Shortcuts, but can only be shared if the computers are logged into iCloud :/

    Great video, thanks. Can I add a file in to one of those folders? Example, I create a customers folder but one document I always require is a Excel Costing Sheet. Thanks!

      You can add anything you need from Automator. It's real robust.

      I had the same question and was able to do it myself by adding the following coding at the end of all the file structures Robert mentioned.
      Copy and paste this in the "run shell script" section and edit the first "SourceFile" destination as needed.
      # Specify the source file path
      sourceFile="/Users/YourFileNameHere.excel"
      # Extract the directory path from the source file
      destinationDirectory=$(dirname "$sourceFile")
      # Copy the source file to the destination directory
      cp "$sourceFile" "$1/$2"

    one question what if I want to create a user prompt to choose from a client first / film project / location -> but depending on client selection it creates a bespoke folder structure for that selection?
    Ask Text function doesn't really give the option to choose as pre defined option like Apples / Oranges. you select one you get one set of folders. you select the other and you get another.
    I want to avoid doing 2 sets of applications per folder structure and do it as one application.

      This is a great question and unfortunately, I don't have the experience to answer it.
