"Adaptive Ultimate" • Classic Radio Sci-fi from ESCAPE! • [remastered audio]

Here's a unique Escape science fiction episode which features the kind of girl everyone wants. Just a few of her abilities are: she can make her hair any color, adjust her skin to any shade, even change her body to any form. This story was later done on other radio series and I believe it was also done on TV. This production is quite good, but I've always felt that a full hour episode would have made it excellent. I'll call the producers and tell 'em.

This episode hasn't aged super well, but I've always had strong memories of it. The name "Kira", the "aluminum-colored" hair, her voice...all stuck in my head from a formative age.

I read the short story long ago, probably before the turn of the century. Much later I came across the 1957 movie version ("She Devil") on TH-cam. I didn't know about this radio play till today. Seems this tale is a classic that probably hasn't seen its last reincarnation yet.
