What you’re referring to is called power/pitch coupling. The cause is that the motors are mounted low, underneath the aerodynamic center of pressure. Lower KV is almost always more efficient. Other people’s claims of efficiency are likely compared by them to other even less efficient aircraft and propulsion systems.

Yeah about the motors i tried them out cos on the Ar Baby i had insane results. like under 0.6wh/km but it didnt transfer to the Swordfisch. I like to experiment.My goal was to keep it lightweight but negative this time :P
@@itsnotme1295 To solve it, the motors must be mounted higher. Changing the angle may partially solve the problem, but will create other problems, like increasing P-factor. If you look at the nacelles on other aircraft with low wings, such as the King Air, or Diamond DA62, the nacelles not only extent forward, but raise the motors a bit. In my opinion, the designers of these foam aircraft do not really know what they are doing and do not think of all of the factors, also do not test, and cannot change the design once the molds are made.
@@itsnotme1295 Will probably be less critical at higher speeds, due to increased control surface effectiveness, but the problem remains at any speed, and changing the motor angle will only help slightly, with other secondary effects. The plane should just be designed correctly in the first place. Off hand, I do not think that motor angle change will be more or less effective at different speeds. If you can raise the motor mount, higher in the vertical plane, even with an offset bracket, it will help.
@WR3ND no idea if it fits. I have no cells from that size anymore because you got many unused space with those big cells. 21700 and 18650 are more practical imo.
