Here are some unusual DIYs & life hacks to try if you're bored during the summer holidays! I think my favourite was cloud bread which is very viral on TikTok right now. I did some more research afterwards and for best results, you should let the egg whites come to room temperature and beat them in a dry, metal bowl. Another trick is to let the cloud bread cool down very slowly inside the oven which prevents the surface from going sticky. If you're using food colouring for cloud bread or yoghurt dots, please note that the colour turns darker after the recipe is done. So if you want pastel shades then be sure to use the tiniest amount.

Here is a tip for cloud bread: after baking leave it for a day. It will taste much better. Also try using vanilla sugar instead of regular sugar it taste like cotton candy 😋

That last Origami Balloon DIY is such a huge staple of my personal childhood! My brother learned how to make it years ago when me and all my siblings were younger and we all slowly learned from him. We called them "Bubble-oons." Such a fun craft :))
Can we all just take a mo to appreciate what an awesome air clay artist Maqaroon is?! Every time I get the stuff out, it flops, doesn't form, shapes wonky, then goes back into the bag to die (dry out, basically XD) Thank you for being the *most* satisfying-to-watch air dry clay artist on TH-cam! LOVE your air dry work!
Also, I work in home care, and we are asked to toss those masks at the end of every shift-I'm going to start saving the elastics; they should be able to retain their integrity after soaking in soapy water for a few minutes, and I'm going to start reusing them for these, or any other types of crafts. *Thank you for being ever-inspiring to the crafting community!*

Another way of doing the towel one is to use pantyhose, and the top half of a bottle. This way, if you accidentally breathe in, there's less likelyhood you'll have soap in your mouh

8:14 another easyer way to do this is to also mix soap and a bit of water but instead of using a towel you can take a water bottle cut of the end take a wash cloth put it on the end then use a rubber band to secure it your welcome!!💜

"Face mask bracelet" is misleading since you only use the elastic from a clean face mask.

It's not coloured meringue. Meringues are egg whites and sugar. The flour makes it bread.

It's also a huge waste of a face mask, which is terrible for the environment!
bread is soft in the inside whole merengue is hard but dissolves i ur mouth. kinad like cotton candy except smooth but very hard

would reccomend using a flavoring for cloud bread since it's basically just stable meringue and def an odd flavor if you don't add a lot of sugar lol. Strawberry and vanilla is pretty yummy!

Just so you all know I tried out the clay bracelets and I have some tips on what not to do because it did not go out so well for me.
1. Make the back of the bead flat - I did not do this and the bead is rolling around so I cannot see the cat face
2. Use sharpie for the face - I used paint and it instantly rubbed off so I would recommend sharpie instead
3. Try longer string - even through it stretches it is uncomfortable to wear tightly
I hope this helps everyone else.

Personally, I wouldn’t use a clean mask, I’d recycle the straps after it’s been used and washed. They are a treasured commodity around here.

With the foam I've actually made it a diff way b4 because of a show! You just mix water and dish soap in a bowl, cut a bottle to the top dome part, put a wash cloth over the bottom(dome)part, dip the wash cloth end in the mixture and blow and it has the same affect! I use to make little soap food dishes with it lol!
