@@TailHappyTV I wonder if there is a way to verify. I called Sunny and they said if it has the /c it is chain driven. I do see that amazon has the description all labeled as belt driven.
I called and spoke with Amazon. They said to go ahead and order and if it is not the belt driven model, they would come and pick it up for a return. Should be here Friday. I'll update when I receive it. Thanks for the reviews.

Looks like there is an 1805 and an 1851 in that range; if we can get you enough ads to cover the cost, and you have the time. As well as the political capital at home to get another bike, i won’t object. What might be helpful is an evaluation and / or comparison of the various content platforms out there as well as any differences in operating systems between IOS and Android. Appreciate the. Time you are putting into this; had no idea there’s be such a market for spin bike evaluations-good on you for finding the need and addressing it!
Great video! The only thing I don't like about the Sunny bike is the downward angle of the handlebars. I wish I could adjust the angle of the grip upward.

I got a sunny sf-b1423 belt drive, leather resistance, with lcd readout, tablet holder for free off Craigslist. I've never had a spin bike before and don't know what to expect. Seems do fine. Many these bikes are now free off Craigslist and face book marketplace as people are moving now after pandemic lock downs over.

Sooooo many choices!! All I want is magnetic resistance, a display of speed, distance, calories and the like. Good adjustments on seat and handlebars. Something that mimics a true outdoor roadbike. Any suggestions? Oh and around to $350 ish range.
Loving the videos. I purchased the Sunny B1805 from Amazon a couple weeks ago and it's pretty good. The B1805 is 4 way adjustable and has a 44lb flywheel, belt drive and magnetic resistance. I'm still trying to determine if I will keep it because the max resistance is questionable. Some days the resistance seems tough and others not at all. I did get a good deal however, it dropped from $599 to $465 and I snagged it. Time will tell. Great videos.
Frank James I'm not sure why it dropped. I had been reading reviews and put it in my cart a couple times and noticed on a Monday that the price had dropped and every couple days it dropped until that Friday it was $465 and I snagged it.
I will need to keep my eyes peeled; I took the plunge and pulled the trigger on the B1805. Wanted to also say thanks to @tailhappytv for the videos and reviews. Your content has been very helpful in the research and purchase process. At this point I don’t think max resistance will be an issue; if it does, then it means I’ll be in a lot better shape than now, which would be a nice problem to have. Frank James I think you're gonna enjoy the B1805. I haven't had any more issues with resistance. I'm not sure what was going on. I had an issue with my pedals making noise but reapplied them and no more noise. I have until January to send it back if I have any other issues. Happy Riding.
I bought this bike a year ago right before the pandemic went down ironically. It has been amazing. It lived on our back patio for the first 6 months because the weather was nice and we enjoyed spinning outside. We have since transformed our garage to a gym and I spin in there. I use the wahoo cadence and the peloton app. I was in the middle of my workout this morning just getting into my rhythm and I’m pretty sure my belt just broke. Move my feet wheel doesn’t move. Any tips where to buy new belt?

Great review! if this bike fits you, its a nice deal. Solid and cheap. I had one. But the fore aft of the handlebars is a big deal, especially since this one is really forward IMHO. I am only 5'10" but long torso and it is too far forward for me (I am a road bike rider and me fitted to a 55cm bike is at least 3 inches shorter than this bar. And the height adjustment for both seat and bar - the gaps are too spaced.
Hi there! Have you ever created a conversion chart between the Sunny 1002 and the Peloton? Trying to get a feel but I don't think one full turn on the Sunny knob equals an increase of 10 for Peloton.

I had a question about the clicking noise I'm the video as you pedaled, did it actually turn out to be the straps hitting? The reason I ask is because a major complaint about Sunny bikes are the bearings being damaged and causing a clicking noise and or grinding. I've been leary about pulling the trigger die to this.
@@AbsoluteMdotcorrect, you can add the clip to them though, they are the same pedal as the schwinn ic4, but ultimately better to get the bike the spd pedals already on it

Hello, I appreciate you taking the time to do these reviews. I was looking for a good, sturdy, quality bike with superior quality. I just had knee surgery looking to get back into stuff after falling off and Covid-19 closing my previous gym. I don’t think it’s a good idea to run but, want to use my time off to get back into something. I work a lot so once I return if I’m not starting it’ll likely be pushed off once again. Thanks for all the informative reviews. I'm only 5'2" (best I can tell a 28 inch inseam in socks. I have a feeling the sunny bikes are too tall for me. While not extremely competitive. I took skinny classes in multiple gyms for many years, so I do have a good sense of how the bike should fit and feel as opposed to newbie who might not have a reference to compare. Im probably overthinking this purchase but want to get it right the first time. Any recommendations based on my height/inseam?

Love your reviews. I have the Tour de France bike but am going to return it because I had the right pedal fall out and strip the crank arm socket in my first workout. Do you know what the longevity of the leather break pad is on the sunny bike? I would think you would need to replace that somewhat frequently.

I have no idea about long term maintenance and longevity of the sunny parts, however I'm sure there website provides information on this or a rep could answer this question, I've heard really good things about Sunny customer service. I should also point out Sunny has more bikes other than just the b1002 some of there other more expensive bikes have more features if you want more than the bare bones.
I got one for free. But the left peddle is not aligned properly. It sticks out wider than the right pedal making the peddle motion off for left leg. I think it's the left crank needs be tapped back in?
So.. the thing happened.. the left pedal crank is completely cross threaded and now I don't know what to do or how to replace the parts. The left pedal came with the nylon nut on it already. you have to remove it to screw in the pedal. I removed the right nylon nut without problems. But the left one was almost impossible to remove. I tried being gentle but there was no other way to get it off than to use some force. Eventually is loosened and came off, but when I put the pedal into the crank it wouldn't align and now it's stripped.. any ideas? Thanks!

Hello! Thank you so much for the amazing review! I recently purchased this bike and I still have mixed feelings about it. It is a solid bike, but..... I feel like when I run standing up it moves side to side (doesn't feel steady) which I didn't even experience with my $170 bike I had. I made sure everything is screwed in tightly as well. Any suggestions or I might just have to return it :(
adjust the feet under the four corners to make sure it is sitting level on the ground. also turn the knobs for the seat adjustment to secure the stem and seat post. does this help?

The bike has 4.4 stars on Amazon right now. It seems like long term the bike can start breaking down. I'd love to get this bike, but I don't know if I can trust it long term. Is this just how it is with any bike?

The schwinn ic4 is very quiet, I have quite a few videos on it and I'm making another one right now and I noticed how quiet it is compared to all the other bikes

Unfortunately, this bike has.serious design/manufacturing problem. While I don't know the names of the parts, the problem is that the gears holding the belt slowly move out of alignment, with no easy way to get them back into alignment. This has happened twice. The first time, I had the bike only two months, but Amazon replaced it for free. The second time, it took 10 months, but it was essentially the same problem. To make matters worse, Sunny has a measly 180 parts+labor warranty, so once the bike broke after a mere 10 months, I was out of luck. Plus, Sunny's customer service is absolutely terrible. If you use the bike very lightly, it may last for a few years. However, if several people in your family use the bike everyday, plan on it breaking down in less than a year.

Actually, I had to cancel because the link took me to the chain drive model. the /c means chain instead of belt.

It was straps, no issues with clicking on this bike, you can hear more closely in my more recent videos with this bike

I got one for free. But the left peddle is not aligned properly. It sticks out wider than the right pedal making the peddle motion off for left leg.
I think it's the left crank needs be tapped back in?
So is the noise on this particular bike the noise is not too bad

So.. the thing happened.. the left pedal crank is completely cross threaded and now I don't know what to do or how to replace the parts.
The left pedal came with the nylon nut on it already. you have to remove it to screw in the pedal. I removed the right nylon nut without problems. But the left one was almost impossible to remove. I tried being gentle but there was no other way to get it off than to use some force. Eventually is loosened and came off, but when I put the pedal into the crank it wouldn't align and now it's stripped.. any ideas? Thanks!
Hey boss, thanks for the review. If you were to connect the Sunny bike and connect it to Zwift, what sensors would you use? The Wahoo Cadence sensor only? or Would you use a cadence speed sensor with the wire that connects them, and the two magnets? Thanks.

Hello! Thank you so much for the amazing review! I recently purchased this bike and I still have mixed feelings about it. It is a solid bike, but..... I feel like when I run standing up it moves side to side (doesn't feel steady) which I didn't even experience with my $170 bike I had. I made sure everything is screwed in tightly as well. Any suggestions or I might just have to return it :(
adjust the feet under the four corners to make sure it is sitting level on the ground. also turn the knobs for the seat adjustment to secure the stem and seat post. does this help?

The bike has 4.4 stars on Amazon right now. It seems like long term the bike can start breaking down. I'd love to get this bike, but I don't know if I can trust it long term. Is this just how it is with any bike?

Unfortunately, this bike has.serious design/manufacturing problem. While I don't know the names of the parts, the problem is that the gears holding the belt slowly move out of alignment, with no easy way to get them back into alignment. This has happened twice. The first time, I had the bike only two months, but Amazon replaced it for free. The second time, it took 10 months, but it was essentially the same problem. To make matters worse, Sunny has a measly 180 parts+labor warranty, so once the bike broke after a mere 10 months, I was out of luck. Plus, Sunny's customer service is absolutely terrible. If you use the bike very lightly, it may last for a few years. However, if several people in your family use the bike everyday, plan on it breaking down in less than a year.
And I paid only 90 bucks for it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
