Just found your channel The dresses you have bought are really lovely and very well made. Jumpers also good. And I would say edgey is fine even after 70's....
Afibel is french company nice stuff but quite expensive. I've had a couple of things from them but had to stop cause of the price.😊

Loved the dresses ! You could put a few stitches in the wrap part of the dress that is a little loose - I do it all the time as I am blessed with a little more than the average in the chest area 😂

Great vlog, you are authentic! The dresses with a v-neck look good on you. Sweaters make you look a little heavy. You talk about mismatch, you could put something OVER it
@@ellavlaar65 that is an idea! I think that maybe I’m going to have a play with the last dress but I am happy to pass it on to someone if I can’t make it work. It’s still available online for £60 so definitely a bargain at £6 for anyone who can make it work x
Hi Joann, I totally agree with you on the color of dress/tunic as well as the shape. The shape is not flattering, but the agree about the pockets: but who wants to have their hands in the pockets constantly. The next dress with the blue leaves very pretty and very flattering on you. Yes, pockets would be nice. The next dress (size 2) was just ok for me; but if is comfortable I would purchase of 6 dollars. Ooops 6 pounds not dollars. I finished watching video, so the last 2 dressed were fairly nice. Thank you for sharing as always take care from Jamie Joann. 😃
Hello Jamie! Hope everything is going well for you. I’ve decided to pass one of the last dresses on to somebody else as it’s just too big but I love the pattern and length of it! And it’s still available online for £60! (The bright coloured flower dress) I’ll keep looking for a smaller size. Do you go around thrift stores?
The cloths look good a few tweaks here and there and will be good long jumper dress why a funny shape is a larger person has worve it so shape to the person as material might be set to the person before (like shoes sometimes). Like you said mix and match is great.

I champion everyone to live their best lives free from other peoples views and opinions and other than good old body image I am out there doing the same but growing up within the diet culture of the 80s and 90s has done something to my brain and it is very hard to get past it but yes you are definitely right! 😊
I don't think the cat jumper looks as tight as the 1st radiator jumper and like the colour better on u too ❤❤❤
Had good bargains.Of course you can be edgy at your age.I enjoy being edgy at times at my age of 63😂.All the items suited you.The one dress is supposed to be the shape it was on you.They seem to have taken tge changing rooms out of a lot of shops.

Just sew it up the wrap thing on that dress. The last dress looks nice and don’t worry about boobs or add a jumper on

@adventuresafternoontea in a small village just outside eastbourne, east sussex. Seemed like a good idea at the time lol. Really miss home even after 20 yrs. We live in a nice part of nz but sadly the country now is run by gangs and drugs, murders everyday even in the nice parts. If it wasn't for my daughter being here I would come home tomorrow. So good to talk to you hun 💕

It was….everywhere has changed hasn’t it. I think the UK is still a good place to live but we definitely have a lot of social issues and there is a very real lack of interpersonal care which saddens me.

The wrap over dress just needs a stich or popper . By the way the belt needs to be at the front, part of the wrap around effect.

Can the pockets be tacked down inside? It’s a strange shape, maybe a lady with big hips stretched it.. I like the blue leaf dress.. none of the supermarkets have changing rooms now, it’s so annoying as I normally have to take things back.

You wander why these items end up in charity shops. On the cashmere jumper could they be getting a divorce and they wanted to get revenge etc. The first dress is really nice on you. Been sorting through clothing and getting rid of the things which are too big like 16s etc. I have lost so much weight

Hi, that odd shaped dress is sadly made to look like that, its a cocoon dress, i agree they are awful and suit nobody. We had them in the 80s and n9body liked them on, except if you are a twiglet, up and down and worn with leggings, like the other dresses. The clip in pieces you stick to your bra are called modesty panels. The jumpers i dont like.Theres nothing wrong with your size, you look great. Dont apologise, Charity shops are hit and miss, I have moved recently and me and my son have 9 binbags of clothes waiting to be picked up.its surprising how our weight has gone up over the years, or get fed up of, didnt like once we bought it, or didnt suit us, or has g9ne o7t of style or one wear wonders as we called some of them. At least they will be out of the way, hopefully not being replaced by more, and the money going to a good cause.❤Gill.
