God, I get so jealous whenever I hear people describing Japanese breakfast. Eating a full meal instead of cereals and/or toasts for breakfast sounds amazing 🤤
Well, nothing stops you from preparing a more full meal instead of breakfast/toast if you have the time.
If time is the issue, it seems to be in Japan as well, apparently Western style breakfast of toast or cereal with a drink is quite common in Japan on work days.
Thought European breakfasts tend to be really light. Like bread/pastries, some cheese, egg, various spreads like jam and stuff.
A full English breakfast is a pretty hearty meal thought.
Anyway, I am personally Turkish and our breakfasts (both traditional but also if one has the time rather common even on weekdays as well) have bread, cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, eggs, meat (sucuk or salami) plus honey, jam and spreads like those. Most often had with tea.
Anyway, the main point is the time tbh, I have often had more European/Western style breakfasts when short on time. So the main thing stopping having a fuller meal in breakfast is going to work/school on time. Only way to have a more full breakfast is to wake up earlier to have enough time to prepare and eat it. Since where you live doesn't really stop you from buying stuff to make a full breakfast in the style that is common outside the West. Even if replicating a specific one might be difficult due to cultural specific foods. Something approximating them should not be impossible even in the West..
Give it a try! You can make salmon or any fish in a toaster oven or airfryer. Just wrap it in some fold and set it to bake, and put some salt, pepper, and maybe some butter if you like. Japanese tend to use a small whole fish, but salmon and other fish are also used depending on the family and the region. They often also use spring onions, ginger, mirin, miso paste, and soy sauce as seasoning/marinate for the fish.
You just need some rice, maybe get some Japanese import eggs (which can be safe to eat raw), and make tamakakegohan (eggs that are cracked raw onto steaming hot rice, and mixed in), or just use normal eggs but make them into onsen eggs (very lightly poached in quite hot water). You can then make some miso soup, either instant or just with dashi powder + miso paste + wakame seaweed + very small cubed tofu. You could add some clam meat into it if you like.
You may find natto to be a bit too hard to eat (I tried and just gagged from the smell), but mentaiko is quite tasty and goes amazing with rice, as it is just fish roe. You don't need it but they are quite nice and healthy. You could also get some Japanese style pickles to go with the breakfast, and maybe even grill up some tamago-yaki (Japanese style omelette, which is quite sweet), or just a standard fried egg.

@@tpuddin Having a plate prepared from the evening, which you can then heat up with a microwave if the food type requires it is always an option.
The type of breakfast I mention with cheese, salami, olives, tomatoes and cucumber also doesn't take much to make. Like I can wake up, prepare a plate and eat said plate within half an hour.
I used to wake up at 6-6:30 AM back at high school as well. The thing that determines whether one can make a fuller breakfast or not is not what time it is, it is how much time one has before they have to leave their house to go to work/school. Whether at 8, 7, 6 or even 4 AM (many Muslims wake up near 4 AM to make and eat a full meal in Ramadhan as they'll be fasting through the day until evening) you can still prepare something if you have like half an hour or so. But if you wake up only 10-15 minutes before you have to get on the road then it could have been afternoon and it wouldn't change the fact that making a full meal would not be practical. I had already said in my first comment that the main thing that might prevent a full meal at breakfast being time anyway.

But being reminded that Suisei is the opposite of a morning person does explain that pretty well. If you have your breakfast at noon/1pm-2pm then "afternoon" might well seem like too early to eat dinner, especially considering she probably stays up late often.
I did see a tweet about her waking up 5:20 am JST yesterday (unless I calculated the conversion between the timezones wrong, for referance it was 23:20 Friday in gmt+3, that should be 5am yesterday (aka day of the stream) in Japan) on her sub-account, so I think she did in fact wake up early in this case.

@@turkalpha6884 It's really not difficult to get it perfectly, because the whole reason light novel titles are this way is because one of the largest japanese self-publishing sites "Shousetsuka" (to this day I believe) doesn't have the synopsis field for submissions. So people just started putting synopsis in the title, and then other people started copying when the fad catched on (you instantly know what the book is about).
So the key to getting it right is to just literally put the idea as it is in the title.

I say you got it spot on because... look at the official licensed translation titles. If the translated title isn't an easy straightforward deal... the title ends up coming off more like a bad youtube header. Embarrassingly so, like cringe worthy stuff.
