Damn, ostown is so depressing...
This just shows what wasteland has become, a sad place where the abandoned cartoons have to suffer, the paint version sounds as they just resigned, they know that something will make things go better, somehow
And then the thinner version is true pain, the dark side of wasteland, they are scared of what will comeand have no hopes on the future, just like rover says in tomorrow city

That’s sad, but seeing how things are in epic Mickey 2 and seeing the toons spirits up plus the mad doctor making a machine that allows toons to escape wasteland, ostown isn’t so bad by the second game! 😀
Well I mean Mickey cause theses events to happen by destroying half of wasteland
I sometimes wonder, if there's gonna be a remaster or a sequel to epic micky.
It’s so sad literally thinner is coming out of the fountain and the pirate most of the time gets squished by the safe and clarabelle is forgotten man this area is so sad
This game is really dark, from destroying a world to killing or sparing the enemy.

It's sad to know that this game wasn't that popular, but it really does mean a lot to me. Me and my mother played this game on the Wii when I was a kid, trying to complete every quest and get every pin.
There were some hard bosses, and some very interesting designs. This game brought back a lot of old cartoon characters that even I recognized, like Horace, Clarabelle, and even Oswald.
This game has such an amazing concept. I always wondered what happened to fictional characters once they are abandoned, and this is it. It gives a feeling of sadness, knowing that one day, Mickey will also end up here, permanently. At least he'll be with the others, and remain one of the most popular animated mascots of all time.
Really great that Disney added Oswald, and didn't forget him completely.
This game is so long, over 11 hours long! Really wish the game wasn't as underrated as it is today. But I even play it in 2022 as an adult. Im on the good side, and I hope to beat the blot soon.
If I could describe this game in one word...

Well the issue with oswald was that Walt lost the rights to him and it wasn't until the mid-late 2000s where Disney made a deal with universal to get him back
Epic Mickey is the definition of a game with a cult following. It was never incredibly popular as you said, but the people who played it and loved it will remember it forever. I know I certainly will. Playing this game with my brother were some of the happiest and fondest memories of my childhood.
I hope you save wasteland. Finish the game for me ok? And your mother.

@@cogdominium I´m refering to how, in a interview, Marc Spector talked about his interest in making a film of epic mickey, i just don´t know wich video. Even going as far as to pitch it to Disney. But it was turned down.
Yeah, is a shame that they wouldn't made a film out of this in the first place than a 3D platform videogame tbh, the music and story specially are a good old back in time cartoon depressing land. Wish it could become into a film. I bet it would wholesome.
But It's an emersive sim, meaning that you chose your actions and have to deal with the consequences to progress with the story, how would it work as a movie

Well, that's the point; Most of the locations in Wasteland are either based off of real world attractions from the Disney theme parks or just straight up based on the actual areas of Disneyland. (Bog Easy is New Orleans Square, Mean Street is obviously a parallel to Main Street USA, Ventureland is obviously referencing Adventureland, etc.)

The OsTown sign being the ToonTown sign with flopped over letters is very creative, like having the N on it's side to make an S. I love how they put little details like that in the game

I think it once had something else. Maybe water or paint but ever since the thinner disaster it possibly changed to thinner
