This started off atmospheric but once you get out the door and there's tons of dead soldiers and military grade weapons everywhere it just becomes an arcade shooter.

What I want to know is how the character this guy is playing didn't know about the chaos and death going on in the hallway of his own building. I just picture him chilling in his living room while SWAT teams are getting overwhelmed by the undead outside and he's completely oblivious.
Damn that sucks to hear that, I was really hoping for a survival horror that forces you to use ammo wisely like resident evil :/
well, most likely if this has been real, You would see solider and police bodies out side. So yes, there's potential to loot bodies and get a hold of a gun. Thou I believe anyone living in a complex is good as dead. Unless you are Rambo.

To be honest, the beginning gave a chillin atmosphere but when I saw the walking dead like zombies it was a turn off. I'd rather see fast ass zombies like dawn of the dead style, makes it much more scarier!

it’s much more suspenseful and horrifying when they are slow. When they are fast it ends up being an action game/movie.

Anyway:
Fast zombies aren't scary, because they die easier. They're not 'zombies' so much as 'infected'. And because of this it removes a lot of the suspense and terror that comes with the older version.
Classic walker, however, are. They have inevitability. Against the quicker ones there's a lot you can do. Traditionally they're still 'alive' and 'human', but warped. They still need to eat. Eventually, they will die off from starvation. If they attack fortifications, their extremities will break and they'll bleed out.
Walkers, or classics 'undead' zombies, don't have that issue. They just never stop. It's not a matter of if you'll survive so much as how long you''ll survive for. It's that inevitability that's terrifying. Nowhere is safe, no time is safe, and eventually they will get you. They have all the time in the world and you only need to make 1 mistake.
I think it will be too difficult to play. It dont look very smooth or consistent using the items, grabbing, picking up, reloading etc. Seems complicated to action done. Youll be dead before you know it. Lol

Honestly, I think hearing the alert sound from the TV is the scariest part of the whole damn game. I'm not saying the rest isn't scary, but Jesus Christ, that warning is just the most ungodly sound I've ever heard in my life and it brings back a very child-like fear in me.

The bad thing about starting in a game like this is the acquisition of your own equipment. If this happened in your house or apartment you would know where your gear is and not have to search so much in the beginning.
