I absolutely love the way he says, “I learned it from someone else, so I want to assist teaching this to others.” That’s SINCERE and AUTHENTIC Humility in motion. SO impressed! These are the kind of individuals who should be running this world!
I learned a while ago from, probably one of my uncles who was in the military (I asked my sons about it but they looked at me like deer in the headlights... Maybe because they didn't want to take a short shower when they were home on leave 🤣), but what he used to do was get wet and lather up the soap then turn the water off. Lather his body head to toe, then turn the water back on to rinse off. I am a recent empty nester in 2100 square feet, trying to figure out some more ways to cut down on bills. I tried this shower method for 30 days. My water bill has gone down from $37 to $18! I know some people say that $37 is a great water bill, but when the gas and the electricity are over $200, I've got to make every dolla holla😂 💸
GLORIA , thank you for your channel. I live in a southern state, my landlord and his wife have progressive alzhimers, and I am in the process of renovating an rv trailer, smaller than my school bus 🚌. So, downsizing, too😮. I have been in this spot for close to 11 yrs. I am a stay in place person, but I am retired on not a lot. And don't have resources to buy even a tiny plot of land , for now and for State I live in. But after I get the trailer liveable, I will sell the bus ,then buy a box truck to pull trailer, and store my extra stuff in. Looks like I probably will have to be a nomad at least for a while when I do get outta here. But hopefully, I can be here for a while longer. I have watched van builds, nomads channels for 13 yrs... The hardest will be not gardening. But the heat, over 100 degrees for over 3 months with no ac.. IS just too much for plants 🪴 and me, dogs, kitties, and chickens. Yes, they come too. So again, thank you so very much for all that you do. Maybe I will see you down the road . Peace and love, my friend 🧡
Linda you are my heroine. For several reasons not the least of which is your commitment to your animals! God bless you. I too am about to become a nomad, I too will miss my garden (and home of 30 years) terribly; and I too am committed to my beloved animals (my dad died November27, and these were his adored pets as well.) I am so moved to learn of a kindred spirit like you, who’s keeping her chickens, too. You are an inspiration. I’m subscribed to you now and really hope to meet you and your animals down the road.

@@lindabishop7656I think it’s important to show how you make it work with your different kind of animals. I have seen set ups (in videos) where nomads showed how they kept the chickens happy, but can’t remember where. I’ll have to google. Maybe I saw it on Pinterest, come to think of it. Anyway if you think about it, it makes perfect sense… humankind has always brought livestock (and eventually pets) along with them in caravans, wagon trains, boats, etc. I hope you show how it’s done.
