That s the most amazing storyive ever heard
I went last and memorized the course while all my classmates did it then just closed my eyes mad made it through the whole thing
-then one of my classmates tripped-
-me over and i might or might not-
-have tried to start a fight with him-
For me, I had the hardest time in the beginning but coincidentally looked into the very corner of my glasses where the image was correct. The trick became focusing on that one tiny area at the corner of your eye.
Ours did a sobriety test with these goggles during D.A.R.E. (touch nose, catch ball, walk in a straight line). I managed to be the only person to run into a table in an otherwise wide open auditorium. 🙃

We have something really similar, I told him (The Officer) that I was pretty sure it would be easy to walk with them on. So I get up there and walk a perfectly straight line across the classroom, he looked at me like I was an alchoholic the rest of the day. This was in third grade and I had never drank, but I was the coolest kid around for forever!

Years back in drivers education lessons they had people but these on and try to walk across the room just to show how dangerous driving drunks was and over half a decade later I still remember how trippy those felt to wear. Good work drawing anything with those on!

My own story of trying those goggles:
Back in eighth grade, I took a health class, and one of the units was on the dangers of alcohol/drugs. One day we did stations with activities that simulated the effects of an excess of alcohol. We were put in groups of about four, and I was assigned to three eighth grade boys that played football and basketball on the school teams and despite being smart and in advanced classes constantly misbehaved and made stupid decisions. At one particularly memorable station, we had to weave through about five concrete poles and then catch a gridiron football thrown by a ‘friend’ while wearing similar goggles. Our teacher specifically warned us to walk slowly and not throw the football hard, especially since we were about fifteen metres from a parking lot. I was well known to be the clumsy kid in the class, despite being reasonably smart, physically strong, and reasonably active and fit. I had fallen out of my seat and tripped over chair legs in that class and many others, even without the bloody goggles. I was also about two years younger than everyone else in the class, not turning thirteen until after the end of the school year. The annoying boys I was paired with enjoyed annoying me with the usual popular insults, knowing they would get witty responses and that I somewhat enjoyed thinking up these responses to what they would say. I had also moved the the US as a child and had no clue at the time how to throw or catch a football (the boys I was paired with were on the school team), since they do not play that sport where I’m from.
So, we begin the activity, and I think I must have gone third. It took me upwards of five minutes to walk through those poles, and then I completely missed the football by walking quickly in the wrong direction and banging into the school (we had been taken outside for the activity), and all I could think was that if I ever got drunk, it better not be with those boys.
