I needed this video so much, I moved into my halls of residence yesterday and I'm 23. The girls that I now live with are all younger than me but the seem like lovely people, I was so worried about the age difference and I'm still a bit anxious about it but I apparently don't look 23 so winning 😂 Moving away from home has hit me hard and leaving my mum and boyfriend has honestly been one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, but seeing that I'm not the only one my age who's going through this makes me feel less alone. Thank you for sharing this and I wish you the best of luck with your new journey!! ☺️🤍

wow I totally relate to not being ready for uni and being done with education after GCSE and A-levels. The same thing happened to me I started a course then dropped out and went back to a different uni and course a couple years later, now I just finished my second year and am doing a summer internship! Life is very unpredictable sometimes, but am super happy with my course now.
change is always hard but you'll be okay and I hope that you have a good time going back to UNI its never to late.I'm actually going back to UNI as well and we start classes tomorrow.Just know you aren't alone and we all love you!

I'm 27 now and I still need to get some qualifications before I go to uni, which I really want to do but I worry about it, that I'm too old for uni, although I'm in a much better headspace now. Best of luck for uni!
never too old! there’s a 26 year old on my course and a friend told me a 40 year old woman was on hers :)) you can learn at any age, good luck!
It may be different in Canada, but I go to uni here, and there’s a lot of ‘mature’ students (21 and older coming back to uni). Last year I was in second year taking a first year course, and made a friend who was 21 in first year, meanwhile I was ‘ahead’ in my undergrad compared to him even tho I was 19. It’ll be less weird than you think girl!
I am so happy for you, Coco! I also hated school and always wanted to drop out from something but my love for learning ended up with me having a B.Sc, a BA, and a PhD, and while those degrees don't particularly help me with what I do now, I honestly think they were amazing for building myself as a person, for developing critical thinking, for understanding what a scientific study or even a good media article is, for so many things. I reckon if I hadn't studied Veterinary Medicine (although I wanted to drop out in my first year, too, and it was so HARD not to do it), I would've never become even remotely organized. Plus I learned so, so much... so I totally understand why you want to go back to school! However I totally understand your old video about dropping out, too - every season of life is different and you just have to find what works best.

first of all you could pass for 18 haha, but I know that at my uni sometimes I meet people and they tell me that they are 21/22/24 and i would’ve never guessed it (i’m18) and even then you’re here for you so enjoy it and learn as much as you can !
