    2002 Ford Escort ZX2 ends of bar are hanging down and hitting ground with slightest bounce or incline. Sent son picture and he knew what they are. Thanks for sharing your video. Money very tight and need to have clue before taking it to someone.

    any bolts and nuts I fit to my focus, I always grease them so they're easy to get off if I have to remove them another time.

    When you're replacing those. You should Jack it up and pull the tires. Better access

      Yeah I've never seen or done this w/o the tire being removed. Maybe he figured if it came out with the tire on, it can go in with it on as well! :D

  • @gurutimes2

    don't overtighten or the bushings will split and you will have to redo them.

      Not necessarily. Don't know that all models have rear sway bar from factory. The one in the video is a ZX3

    I have a 2001 Ford focus and it's my sway bar that's broken how do I fix that??

    • @CharlesAndCars
      @CharlesAndCars  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just have to replace it with a new one... Removing and replacing end links would be the same... also need to replace the sway bar bushings as well. Don't know the exact part for the car you have. Something like this www.tascaparts.com/oem-parts/ford-stabilizer-bar-9s4z5a772b?origin=pla&gclid=Cj0KCQjwn4ncBRCaARIsAFD5-gVihzY1sum-gVGiaBd-xP--QFQTRUZx2SKGAEYh7vxlTxv3D5X5dEsaAqvrEALw_wcB
