The Song of Songs also Song of Solomon is one of the megillot (scrolls) found in the last section of the Tanakh, known as the Ketuvim.
It is unique within the Hebrew Bible: it shows no interest in Law or Covenant or the God of Israel,
it celebrates passionate love, giving "the voices of two lovers, praising each other, yearning for each other, proffering invitations to enjoy .
The two are in harmony, each desiring the other and rejoicing in sensual intimacy;
the women of Jerusalem form a chorus to the lovers, functioning as an audience whose participation in the lovers' erotic encounters facilitates the participation of the reader.
In modern Judaism the Song is read on the Sabbath during the Passover, which marks the beginning of the grain-harvest as well as commemorating the Exodus from Egypt.
Jewish tradition reads it as an allegory of the relationship between God and Israel, Christianity as an allegory of Christ and his bride, the Church.
Song of songs. The song of Solomon. fifth or fourth century comprises a collection of profane love songs and epithalamia.
Song of songs - Many waters cannot quench love
نَشِيدُ الأَنَاشِيدِ - مِيَاهٌ كَثِيرَةٌ لاَ تَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ تُطْفِئَ الْمَحَبَّةَ
The Song of Songs stands alone within the biblical canon:
a highly sensual book within the body of sacred Scripture, a love song to an unknown lover, rich with enigmatic, evocative images that tease the senses even as they confound them.
It is a slippery text that resists all simple readings, and even as it weaves together phrases that resonate with other biblical passages it stands apart from them.
This loveliest, most enigmatic poem of the Hebrew Bible inspired later poets. Perhaps most famously, its language colors, the lyrics (sacred and otherwise) of the great medieval Andalusian poets: Solomon ibn Gabirol, Abraham ibn Ezra, and Judah Halevi among them.
a question that might rise: Is it a religious work, or a secular text, or were such distinctions meaningless in the world of antiquity?
While in recent decades the question of the Song’s sacred or profane nature has been hotly debated, for most of the last two millennia the answer to this question has seemed obvious:
the Song is in the Bible, ergo it must be “religious.” Indeed, the second-century Jewish sage, Rabbi Akiva, described the Song of Songs as the holiest of scriptures,
saying that “all the scriptures are holy but the Song of Song is the holy of holies”
The Song of Songs has a long history of being read as a religious text, but “secular” readings of the work (or, more precisely, interpretations that do not assume the text is a religious allegory) are also possible, and in recent decades have become common.

Israelis are beautiful and healthy people. Wouldn't it be wonderful if Israelis and Palestinians could share the land and be beautiful and healthy together.
There were a British mandate.. there was a promise for the jews of a jewish country and a promise for the arabs of an arabic state.. the jews got Israel of today the Arabs got Jordan.. why are we still talking about sharing a small land for both nations while there is tons of Arab countries?? Because its jew hating idiology. Thats it.
There are two million Palestinians who are Israeli citizens. In fact many of the travel companies are run by them.
There was something like that the Palestinians messed it up
No
It would be even more beautiful if Israel and the Jews would turn to Elohim and accept their Messiah.

Let's dance with this music every morning, we will be healthy on several levels
I am a christian, I enjoy to dance and breathe and pray while dancing on holy melodies and rythm
I have to trust that one day, hopefully not too far from now, people will be able to transcend divides and to celebrate the beauty of all people's cultures, everyone's unique history, and their own struggles. As far-fetched as that sounds with everything happening, I have to trust that we will get there.
God bless Israel
I have just found out I have Sephardic blood in my vains. I live in the UK but always felt like I wasn't Anglo Saxon. I obviously had a Jewish longing in my soul because I was already watching your music and very attracted to Jewish culture before I knew of my Sephardic history. I'm very proud of my history and feel I have spirituality come home.

That is BEAUTIFUL!
Song of Solomon is one of my favorite of the Books.
This was an amazing performance! ❤️🔥
Shalom to you Israel, and trust in the Lord your God.
Not many Bible readers these days eh?
Song Of Solomon 2:2 “Like a lily among thorns Is my beloved among the daughters.”
8: 7 "Surging waters cannot extinguish love, Nor can rivers wash it away. ...”
Oh. Yeah must have read it a thousand times plus a thousand ❤️ but never in English, Casiodoro de Reina y Cipriano de Valera, King James. Beautiful Gateway the Holy Bible. I prefer Casiodoro y Cipriano, even the names have a philosopher's touch.
My favourite song from Bible. King Solomon wrote the love story of the Shulamite and her Shepherd
King Solomon was a creative master, right?! Some of my favorite written works.
She nailed that song for centuries to come!
Her voice and the team's music stitches your heart with love and something, hard to put in words.
Like guiding a stream of water on the path to God.

I pray for Adonai’s chosen nation every day.
The Song of Solomon, which this song is based off of, is one of the most beautifully written books in the Bible/Torah. Well, it is poetry in all sense of the word.
This song took me to ancient times before The Old Testament. During the time before Abraham banished Hagar and Ishmael. When the Jews and the Arabs were perhaps one tribe, when there were no Jerusalem nor Medina.
Didn't understand a word of it, but it sounded AMAZING, comforting. Thank you. God bless you all and I will always stand with Israel. ♥
I don't stand with it. Isn't it wonderful that people who stand with Israel and those who don't stand with it are united through the love of this music? We are all one.

The most ancient love poem can be found, on the clay tablet Istanbul #2461. The The Love Song for Shu-Sin s a Mesopotamian poem. The song of songs for sure is old but is easily 1000 years younger.
But is it legible and made into song😂
Abraham came from Mesopotamia. Yes, Mesopotamia is older than Israel, so what though?
@shayalynn the title claims "most ancient love poem", which it isn't.

ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING, FILLED WITH GODS SPIRIT. 🕊🤍
This is actually the song of Hashem calling out to his Beloved and her answer to Him -- Israel was called His WIFE and in Jeremiah, Hashem declares His writ of divorce against her -- this is a prophecy of the wife's return and restoration -- she is truly beloved and will be RESTORED and REDEEMED to spend eternity as the beloved of Messhiach, her Beloved whom she joins coming out of the desert --
"Who is this coming out of the desert leaning on the arm of her beloved?"
"I am dark yet lovely", she says, realizing she has been dark and scorched by her disobedience and wanderings in the desert of time and isolation from the Most High.
Who is the ARM on whom she leans? Hashem declares that "by my own right hand" He promised He would restore and redeem. Who is His right ARM? Y'shua ha Mashiach.
That is helpful to understand the song. Thank you
Wonderful song. God bless Israel.

Muslim from the zaza folk here. I suddenly felt that i have to listen to jewish music and i am impressed. It is so relaxing greetings, good work!
from Abraham when he was about to kill his son then a lamb showed up - relating to the future Unblemished lamb that would be for the world - Jesus Christ who was sinless
for they had to sacrifice unblemished animals back in the old testament for the animal to pay the price for their sins as good deeds or works can't overtake your sins: for sins are iniquity and there is no iniquity from G@d thus impossible to be reconciled with him without being pure. thus we need Jesus Christ to reconcile us with the father.
let me know if you have any questions!
btw - Jesus was Sinless
- Born to a virgin
-coming back again!
One other thing I need to warn you all about
Mathew 16:21
:From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.
Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!”
But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”
so thus warning you as the Quran denies the Death of Jesus on the cross -(for our sins btw) that is known to be Satanic and It also says in the Quran that Allah is the greatest of Deceivers/ now in The Holy Bible is states (John 8:44)-
-You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is “a liar” and ❗-[“the father of lies.”!]-❗
Lastly : Matthew 7:15-20
-“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
May G@D guide you ! and you be saved by the blood OF JESUS CHRIST THE LORD AND SAVIOR!! , Amen and G@D bless you !!!!!!!!!

Shalom To All Gods Creation, my gratitude & J😍Y to All of You, 12 Tribes for sharing your beautiful, magical, sacred & uniquely gifted voices & musicianship!
Each time I listen & watch is more beautiful than the last.
I Am a humble, grateful devoted servant for God & the greater good of All Humanity.
All of my life, my Father Chaim Skurow, resting in shalom, told me that we were descendant’s of the 12 tribes.
I did believe him, of course, he was my father, my papa, my heart, my protector, the one & only person ever in my life that I felt truly safe with.
This, my ancestry, however became an “absolute knowing”, one day as I was trekking through the Sonoran Desert.
As I was power walking, singing & chanting praises of gratitude, hope & a new found freedom, in a quantum instant I was transformed & transported, as one of many in the middle of the Exodus.
There were so many people & animals that I could not see the end of Our Gathering.
The singing, praying, crying, laughing, the Gory of it & Them All filled every beat of my heart, every cell of my Being. I was with My People. I was Free. It is My Truth now as I type these words.
I share this with you in the hope for any & all those ever in any kind of bondage, as I am now… your prayers for my safety, freedom & Justice
In Heart Gods Unconditional Love, Mercy & Grace
I Am Eva
