Trainer Gae is such a fucking legend , I am a grappler but I wish I could learn muay thai from him. The way he commits himself to you and his teaching style is so incredible. Even on the worst days of pushing the pace I wouldnt mind if he was training me
I remember my first time holding kick pads. Felt like my forearms were ready to snap. Takes a few sessions to acclimate but i cant imagine what a trained fighters kicks would feel like
His training regimen is not just about form or proper blows, it is about stamina and looking out for unexpected blows like sweeps. I swear, 1 month with this guy and you will turn into a beast
But watch out dont get confused. Only because u train with the right guy doesnt mean you wont get in your first or any Amateur fights koed cold.people like you confuse training with fighting

This trainer was the reason why Superborn broke Petrosyan's jaw and put him to sleep early. Petrosyan may not be the same fighter again after an injury like that ( a broken jaw).
first muay thai class today and let me say I could tell the guy i was partnered with went easy on me and im glad he did cause even with pads you can really feel the impact. crazy how much damage trainer gae can take even with pads, man is a beast.
There is nothing like a good Thai coach holding pads for you it's a different flow...if any of you are thinking of going to Thailand to train go you will not regret it

Primarily I want to get better at muay thai and work a lot on my technique with the thais, cause they grew up with muay thai. I do however want to stay in a nice place - bangkok I wouldn't want to stay a whole month in so I thought about koh phangan or koh samui
@@BeyondPrideMF the best gyms are in Bangkok but in the countryside is where all the gyms that only thais train in...samui is nice not sure about gyms on it...I trained in phuket a few years ago and enjoyed it....I stayed away from the bigger tourist trap gyms

Dude this is like taking drugs. Everytime I see someone working so dedicated on the pads, I just want to work as well. It feels like my heart is getting heated and I'm just getting excited so crazy, my adrenaline is getting really high. It's an amazing feeling.
