Can you create similar action in illustrator? When I tried it don't record apply Gaussian blur
U can create similar neon in a different way but it wont look the same as in photoshop
@@WeJustClickme yeah i did that already but can't create the action for it. In illustrator it did not record the FX applied to objects. Reason I am doing it in AI since I can scale them. Thanks!

how did you do the shape part of the tutorial it was too fast for me to understand. i mean the lines above the text
I just used the rectangle tool and fill the stroke as i remember, and hided part of it using the mask. This tutorial was done long time ago. But that's the way i would do it now

how do you do the beam behind the text 'neon', it sped up and didn't go over it. wanted the neon beam behind my text
check your layers, maybe it is over the text layer . try changing the layer positions

Yes, as a text without the lines. U just have to save the actions when u start doing these steps and the action u export it as a preset
