Man I could kiss you right now lol. If you're watching in 2022....the option to choose a color didn't automatically come up for me. I started clicking on the boxes on the top left ( don't remember which one ). It was like the 2nd or 3rd. May have even said color or something and then the option to choose a color came up!

you must ctrl enter to turn it a choose. and then you paint it black and then you should add shadow.
