Kerry Henrikson, Founder of PANDAS/PANS Ontario and Pandas Mother, touch on how In PANDAS/PANS, children as little as 5 or younger are flooded with intrusive thoughts, sometimes suicidal thoughts, that they may not yet have an understanding of or the correct coping skills to deal with. No one, let alone children should be having suicidal thoughts, thoughts that could potentially lead to fatal actions.
