This map uses lots of the portals where you must walk through to progress, the beginning also might be confusing because of the three portals just at start, even after first playthrough it might be easy for you to feel lost. It gets even more confusing where you have to go through rooms that... in your mind should not be present, think of visiting a circus with hall of mirrors while playing this map, it loves to play mind tricks with you. Hall of mirrors is a good term because map surely belongs to these not so easy for the player, you begin in open space with multiple monsters close to you, even with Revenants, Pain Elementals and Barons of Hell close to you. The best way is to start infighting between them and eliminate some of them because you will have to revisit this place later few times, thankfully it does not happen too often, just try to not get lost while playing. There is a total of 5 secrets to explore, while one of them is SUPER SECRET where you have to find three switches in the caves, unfortunately with Project Brutality we have to use a FLY cheat because of the Rocket Launcher. Either you will not find a Rocket Launcher because of the spawns + the Rocket Launcher's rocket jump is too weak to boost you to reach the alcoves with switches to use, so yeah unfortunately here we must use fly to reach a secret. Each activation of switch gives you a Soulsphere and Armor to compensate a rocket jump boost, when you open a last third switch, the Super Secret area with Megasphere will be opened, together with a small monologue from designer. The map also has several cool gimmicks such as water corridors with portals, a functional TIME FREEZE where you cannot move for a slight time, sudden teleport and trick when you reach a yellow keycard and an exit too.
hey martinoz i have seen some of your vid and you have been doing a great job,but if im not bothering you would you kindly give me a little insight of how to find all of these maps?what i mean is what category or filter that i have to use to search in zdoom forum or any doom map website?ths.Im having difficulity to search all of these great map
I really want to know your PC specification for playing this mod, my PC can run brutal doom v21 without problems, but I always got fps drop if I played PB.3.0, does this mod need specific setting ?
I have tested P.B.3.0 in various desktop computers of different capabilities, from medium range to strong gaming Pc capable of running games in 4K, all of them sufferend the same Fps drops and freezing moments, no matter how complex or simple the Map we were testing was. They are produced by the Mod itself, it doesn't matter how powerful your machine is, the Mod have lots of conflicting code.
will PB 3.0 even be finished, i wonder? not that i don't like all that cool updates, i'm just so curious to know what will come when the oficial release finaly come
Ugh... It's like someone took the Void map, ate it and barfed it out, then have someone else eat the barfed out map, then shat it out (without the Heretic and Hexen enemies).

Strangely, some secrets require you to type in the fly command. In my opinion, It would've made more sense to include a ladder up or a fly power-up.
Its for rocket jumps, hence large health and armor bonuses
