In parallel transmission, transmitting n bit requires n+1 wires; n for each bit and 1 for ground signal.

One small doubt. As far as i am informed. IP is parallel , we connect systems using ip. So am i informed wrong or comp with comp can be connected with serial as well as parallel.?🤔
