my uncle was homeless bc of severe depression and anxiety and nobody helped him so he killed himself so your kindness no matter how small might keep people from ending it all.
Laying here in bed watching the vlog... “I always taught her if she didn’t have anything nice to say she shouldn’t say anything at all.” Hubby starts laughing hysterically. 😂😂😂
That diamond painting is so cool, that video clip at the end of Abbie showing her receptive skills was so awesome, and thank you for sharing your day, everyday.
You’d make a good preacher Asa! A beautiful Abby smile and a hug and dance with mom. That’s why I love Abby so much. Doesn’t matter where she is, she lets her light shine.
I started tearing up during your description of giving out the stuff and people putting on the socks. Oh my goodness. So many feelings. Also that is major progress that Brandy can wear none-chasing shoes! That is awesome! ❤️
I’m so glad you all love the gifts I sent! A lot of thought went into picking out each thing for each of you. I know Abbie is enjoying all the treats too! Love you guys and love what you’re doing! I’m currently a Paraprofessional in an ILAB room (Intense Language and Behavior), it’s such a hard job at times but I love it! I work one on one with a little boy with autism. We have 8 kids in our room and they all have autism and it’s an ABA based room. I absolutely love my job. This is what I went to school for and it’s my passion. I’m doing what I love even if it does involve getting kicked and hit and what not. It’s all worth it to make a difference and work with these kids. I just love watching your vlogs and just learning more while being entertained all at once! Love you guys!
Otter Box has the most amazing cover for iPads... I swear it makes them almost indestructible. My husband has been using the same "beat up" iPad for work for about 5 years....
Here’s a small theory about the difference between Abbie’s issue with places like Walmart and lack thereof with Office Depot particularly-I myself get anxiety/very worn out from stores with high ceilings and bright lights, but especially so if the store aisles are also really high. Office Depot has shelves low enough that I can see over, and it’s a MUCH less intimidating place for me. It feels less like a huge corporate store, more like a safe, local store, if that makes sense. Just my personal experience!
Ive beeen homless many times in my life. Ive been a drug addict. Ive had my kids taken. March of 2017 is when i decied to take my life back been clean sense. Got my kids back. I love your family and these vlogs my son also is on the spectrum. Ive been binge watching all the old vlogs
I can tell I'm really hormonal right now I teared up at Abigail hugging you guys at the post office... so nice to see her gestures of love and happiness... always makes me smile
So sad that you dont want gifts anymore...I love watching you with Abbie opening gifts. You know how you feel giving a gift to people, you teared up...I think people feel that way giving you gifts....😢😢😢 it makes them happy....cant you please rethink your stance on this subject.??? 💚💛🖤🧡💜 💚💛🖤🧡💜
Hey beautiful family, so sorry about Abbie's communication device, I hope that it will get replaced soon and some kind of stronger protective shell. You guys always make my day because you make me smile. Love you guys. Thank you for what you do and who you are. So proud of Abbie, she never ceases to amaze me. 😘💜💛👨👩👧👦😇⭐🐶
I’ve watched a crap ton of your videos in the past week because I’ve been binge watching after I discovered you guys. But I haven’t seen Abbie hug yet and the way she hugs is so sweet :’)
Wow, I never would have guessed....a preacher. You can still spread the gospel and share The Word (while you’re passing out necessities to people). Together with your wonderful family you can do wonderful things for the Lord. ♥️. Gods greatest blessings on your family.
I work with homeless and near homeless ppl on a regular basis. Socks are hard to come by when you're living on the streets. So are underwear, honestly. Not as easy to get for others, but desperately needed. I love that you two go out and give socks away. You are showing them that they are loved and not forgotten. Thank you. Love u guys
# relationshipgoals I love that you two love each other so much it's really nice to watch and it's really nice to watch a man take care of the person who loves him unconditionally through thick and thin right!!!! I love The Mosses!!!
I graduated from Lincoln Christian College and Seminary with a degree in youth and preaching ministry. It is now Lincoln Christian University. I left the faith. But you guys are amazing
I love what you two are doing. You're not just surviving, you're thriving. What's even better is you don't get frustrated to the point where you're being mean to Ab. A lot of people get frustrated and just get angry. It's clear how much you two love your little girl. You're both such great parents. Even your son, teens like your son are the best. They turn into great men, too. He won't ever be bullying or picking on other kids. If only everyone could parent like you. 💖 continue going. New subscriber, here 😃
It's COLD here winter time now today I went and got 4 hat's gloves dog food water hand Warner's for these 4 guy's food too I said snow going to be on the ground very soon you'll need to head to Cali 45 in the day 13 at night way to cold I also got there 2 dog's coats I hate seeing that I just sat there in the car crying you'll are awesome stay Blessed 💚🌹💚
As a parent of 2 autistic boys I honestly love your vlogs they help me through the bad days. You are amazing with abigal both inspirations lots of love from the UK xx
God bless you and your family Abbie. I have a niece. She's also autistic. I hope your family won't get tired of taking care of you. Loving hugs to you..:)
This is my first year working with special needs as a teacher assistant, you guys are the cutest little family and I actually learn from you guys haha. Abi is so cute ❤️
AW! Abby was doing the cutest stuff! Opening the door for the dog, hugging you guys, even her cry sounds adorable. Interesting, Asa went to bible college and was going to be a preacher, wow! I can see that! God bless your family.
I hope you kept the "back up" one, I faintly remember a discussion you posted when you got the new one from an amazing subscriber, and opened it! Had me in tears right along with you!
Asa, if I saw correctly, you were wearing a sweatshirt and shorts - that is Florida for you, I guess. I'm sorry that Abbie broke her device and hope you are able to find a replacement or get it repaired quickly. She was so full of energy and spirit, it was awesome to watch how she expresses herself. I am very impressed with her receptive skills, I think she has come a long way in just the few months that I have been watching.
You guys made me put a smile on my face seeing abbie open the door to let the dog in. U put a smile on my face when abbie had the shoes on and all she was going was bed. Thank u so much for the smile.
Aww y'all had me crying too. Abbie given our hugs melts my heart! Omg that salt n pepper shaker is adorable and would go perfect in my kitchen!! I love cows! You can run away to bed 😆 I'd like to run away to my bed sometimes! Lol
A kid I worked with had issues with fluorescent lights such as those in the office supply store. I think it’s the wavelength of the light emitted that causes a flickering which can be annoying. Abbie’s progress is exceptional by the way! I’m so happy for the amazing dedication you have with your child
Interesting. So most flourescent and LED lights, TVs, electronic screens are at 60hz. That’s why they flicker on video. I don’t know why that’s interesting but it is lol.
Yes, she’s probably learning to manipulate the flickering by squinting rapidly and using her peripheral vision. It was probably annoying her but somehow she’s adjusting through stuns. Years ago when I used to take my son to speech therapy I would talk with another parent whose son had behaviors that they determined were from SPD associated with his peripheral vision. They received a prescription for glasses with special lenses to filter out certain color wavelengths and reduce the distraction.
You guys are so amazing 💜 can you guys please adopt me 😂 im only 27 lol. I was homeless for a while and just now getting somewhat back on my feet and seeing you guys take time out of your day to hand out care packages makes my heart so happy. I remember how hard to was to just have dry warm socks and clothes (living in rainy Seattle) my feet were always frozen. And then seeing people walk by and give you the side eye or just ignore you. Means a lot to see you guys do that. Can really make someone's life just something so small as handing out care packs. You guys are so amazing ❤💛💚💙💜
What??? I can’t see you being a preacher- not that you’re not a fabulous guy and incredible inspirational person but, you were literally born to be a daddy and husband!!!❤️❤️
Just a future suggestion, don’t give things like toothbrush/toothpaste, shampoo, etc;. Chances that they have access to running water is slim... so save the money and buy things like mints, cleanse wipes, dry shampoo, deodorant (things that can freshen you up without requiring water)
We did a lot of outreach when we lived in FL, and I can honestly say I miss that more than anything since we moved. We made sure needs were met weekly, but Christmas became a special thing for us. Before anyone opened gifts on Christmas morning, we would take bagged lunches and gifts to the local homeless. We made one older man “in charge” of handing out socks to the ones we didn’t find. It was so neat to see how excited he was about being able to share “his” socks with the other guys.
That after the beep though! Too much fun! Loved this vlog, the diamond painting to the broken communication device. Talk about real life! Whew, how there wasn’t a glass of wine had by the adults, I just don’t know? Good parenting! Great family. Thanks for sharing your family with us! Jenn
I want a hug from Abbie!! I’m sure those are the best. I know that is my favorite thing about working in a group home with individuals with autism.. the hugs when i come in and the random ones during my shift.. oooh the smiles in the morning and them remembering my name!! One reason why i don’t think I’ll be able to leave lol. I miss them during the weekend.
Asa I am so proud of you for adulting so well. Driving and everything. I'm impressed! I don't really want to hear about Florida being cold. We had snow before we had turkey and that's just not natural! I must admit I am a lil ticked off about it all. I threatened to run away once too because my Mom would not give me cookies. Her response to me was I'll pack your bags for you girlfriend but you are not having cookies. I don't know why I even tried to argue with my Mom. It is so beyond awesome that Abbie let in Maverick and did not even try to run away. I see progress every day when I watch the vlogs, and I am sure you see even more. It really warms my heart. Never give up! My daughter is making it on her own. She has tons of help, but she is doing it and that is something I never dreamed I would live to see.
I came across your videos about 6 months ago and your family has helped me get through a lot of my depression abi is so precious and how well Isaiah is as a brother is an amazing thing much love from Ocala fl
Hi, fathering Autism! I wanted to thank you for all this fantastic work you do and spread the awareness of autism! This has inspired me to finally choose a career path I know I will love (I am currently a pre-vet major) and become a psychologist and work with children who have autism! If you have any tips for me, please feel free to contact me! I would love all the help I can get!!! Cheers!
It's ok, girl. I dance in line too. Really I dance anywhere there is music. You handled her tantrum so well. Also, you narrate life in, Asa. You are a great story teller. I hadn't realized that I have been a fan long enough to see growth. Isaiah's photography is only improving. Abbie is communicating so much more. Priscilla is more confident in front of the camera. Your specialty videos are so great, and impactful. Happy weekend Maas squad.
I'm a new subscriber! I am an occupational therapy assistant student, and your channel helps me and inspires me so much. I did a presentation about ASD and showed your video of Abi in during an OT session. They loved it, and totally loved her! I would really love to work with children like Abi when I graduate. Also, I wanted to mention that on one of my Clinicals, I worked with a little boy with autism (non-verbal just like Abi :)) and his name was also Asa, and I absolutely adored him. I just learned your name today in this vlog and it reminded me of him. Just wanted to share that little "story" with y'all. I love your channel! You are all an inspiration. Keep doing what youre doing!
Omg the picture you guys used for the thumbnail is so cute lol it reminds me of a mugshot 😂 she has that face like “yup I’m guilty, I did it, I broke it” 😂😩 cuteness overload!!!!
That sucks that her Dynavox got dropped. I'm sure you've already got an interim solution figured out, and hopefully you get her device fixed or replaced very soon.
I love how Cilla is so cold and she’s like “it’s getting cold here in Florida!” And I had a delay for school today from snow. Also the weather probably won’t get in the fifties here for about 4-5 months except for a few outlier days. I do love it though (except for when I almost get frostbite but that’s something else)!
I believe it was the led lighting at office max. Most big box stores still use fluorescent, but many are switching over to led lights which are harsh on the eyes. It's one thing to have a small square of led-lit technology in your face. It's another thing to have an entire room lit with led's. I have a pain induced sensory processing disorder called CRPS/RSD (similar to MS but severe intractable neuro pain is the primary response to any stimulus). I've had this since I was young and it will shut down my speaking ability. I also stim especially when there's noise. Abby seems like a very cool girl. Does she like to play musical instruments? I notice she loves music.
Accidents like what happened to Abbie's device happens and hopefully it can be fixed or if insurance isn't a option for it I'm sure their is some repair shops that can fix it cheap, who knows? I also liked that one clip where she wanted to leave and Priscilla told Abbie to put her shoes away she looked like "Give me the cookie's and I'll put my shoes away." Abbie is always a hot mess. Much Love guys! :)
Wow you guys are amazing! You do so much good for the autism community and for others too. Thank you for keeping the homeless on your mind all year long. 😊
Ok TH-cam recommended your channel about a week ago. I have binge watched like no other and just love your family! I just have to say it must be an Abbi thing because my 9 year old Abbi has always referred to herself as Princess Abbi. I just love that. 😍
Wow, how is this the first time ever finding this channel. I instantly fell in love with this channel. Such a wonderful family. Abbie is such a lovely young woman.
Why wouldn’t you have it in a warranty indestructible case, my daughter has autism also and believe me hers has been thrown before but the case has saved it 11 times ....well worth the money.
Hi from Scotland in the UK. I've been watching lots of your videos. First time commenting 😊 I love your videos, Abigail has a beautiful smile, she's daddy's girl for sure. I don't know a lot about autism but I'm learning from your channel. Not sure if you've covered this question or not. Why does Abigail always want to eat, does she not get the sensation of being full? Lots of hugs from Scotland 😊🐕❤️
I so feel your pain when it comes to the communcation device. What we use is a program called Talk Tablet. It can be downloaded onto any android device (including kindle which is super cheap on amazon) and is very comparable to dynavox. It's only 79.99 and can be downloaded multiple times. Might be an option for you while you get yours repaired and to use for future backups. Also these is Tippy Talk which is 14.99 a month and prologo which we have found is ipad only and most expensive. We chose Talk Tablet bc android tablets are cheaper and more durable. So that's what we do.
I'm in my junior year of high school right now and my school has a Career and Technical Center so I had the opportunity to sign up for the Early Childhood Education course. Once I graduate next June I will have my Teachers Assistant certification and after high school, I am planning on going to college for elementary ed, as well as special ed. For as long as I can remember I have always had a passion for teaching and special education students just light up my day. I absolutely cannot wait until I can work with them full time.
my uncle was homeless bc of severe depression and anxiety and nobody helped him so he killed himself so your kindness no matter how small might keep people from ending it all.
shutup shit head Your family didn’t try to help your uncle either?
Brianna McD really
That was a tragic name at the time....
oof
the less ppl the better the earth so don't be sad
Laying here in bed watching the vlog... “I always taught her if she didn’t have anything nice to say she shouldn’t say anything at all.”
Hubby starts laughing hysterically. 😂😂😂
Lol
FIrst off, i think the girl actually understands the joke. And i don' think she's laughing.
That diamond painting is so cool, that video clip at the end of Abbie showing her receptive skills was so awesome, and thank you for sharing your day, everyday.
The Wee Family thank you about the diamond painting!!! It took me forever to do but it was worth it!! :).
m.facebook.com/emarshallarts77/albums/1921723964590629/?ref=bookmarks FYI of how I did it... LOL
Did I see their faces in the puzzle colors?!
You’d make a good preacher Asa! A beautiful Abby smile and a hug and dance with mom. That’s why I love Abby so much. Doesn’t matter where she is, she lets her light shine.
I love to see Abigail give hugs and her smile lights up a room! You have a beautiful family!
I started tearing up during your description of giving out the stuff and people putting on the socks. Oh my goodness. So many feelings.
Also that is major progress that Brandy can wear none-chasing shoes! That is awesome! ❤️
I do not know
I have depression anxiety and I don’t talk in school and watching u everyday stops me hurting myself 😁
“Girl the only place you’re going is bed” HAHAHAHH I loved those ending videos
It was so, so sweet when Abigail hugged each of you! Sweet girl! 💕🌸
Otter Box has the most amazing cover for iPads... I swear it makes them almost indestructible. My husband has been using the same "beat up" iPad for work for about 5 years....
The device wasnt an iPad
People with mental illness are far more likely to be the victim of violence than the perpetrators. Thanks for all the good you do.
I can tell I'm really hormonal right now I teared up at Abigail hugging you guys at the post office... so nice to see her gestures of love and happiness... always makes me smile
Watching Abbie give you all hugs while in line at the Post Office was absolutely heartwarming ♥️
So sad that you dont want gifts anymore...I love watching you with Abbie opening gifts. You know how you feel giving a gift to people, you teared up...I think people feel that way giving you gifts....😢😢😢 it makes them happy....cant you please rethink your stance on this subject.??? 💚💛🖤🧡💜 💚💛🖤🧡💜
@@Rippenhengst agree 110% help and give gifts to people in need. Trust me those folks will get use out of the gift and truly truly appreciate it.

Not normally.
# relationshipgoals I love that you two love each other so much it's really nice to watch and it's really nice to watch a man take care of the person who loves him unconditionally through thick and thin right!!!! I love The Mosses!!!
Now everything makes sense. You are a pastor in every sense of everything. Preach 🙏
Wish I had a dad/family like this. Such an amazing guy and loves his family so much.
I wish I had a third of Abbies energy!

Abbie hugging you guys in the post office, so sweet! You can see how much she loves you
Seeing Abbie hug and play with Cilla and Brandys hair made me want to cry 💜💚💚 I love you guys so much!

She was very huggy at the post office! That was adorable
And the little mouth stim when she was giving hugs. When she hugged Asa, it was so loud! That is my favorite stim that she does.
I hope you kept the "back up" one, I faintly remember a discussion you posted when you got the new one from an amazing subscriber, and opened it! Had me in tears right along with you!
This was the back-up one. We never got the main device approved through insurance. They said she didn’t exhibit the desire to communicate. Smh
Oh im so sorry guys! Prayers thing's get worked out fairly easily!! Stay strong, I hope insurance reconsiders their decision! ❤
Asa, if I saw correctly, you were wearing a sweatshirt and shorts - that is Florida for you, I guess. I have OFFICIALLY FOUND MY HEROS! Going thru trying my best and its so nice seeing you guys going on your journey
The way abbie loves & hugs on her momma!! Sooo sweet!! 😍😍😍
The whole section from 12:28 where Abigail is hugging everyone makes me wanna cry. She has so much love to give!
Aww y'all had me crying too.
Abbie given our hugs melts my heart!
Omg that salt n pepper shaker is adorable and would go perfect in my kitchen!! I love cows!

New to your family and I already love y’all. Your family is a joy to watch.
Oh my gosh...you two are so sweet and kindhearted. I would love to be in your family. You truly are special people.
You guys are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING sorry about her communication device
Accidents like what happened to Abbie's device happens and hopefully it can be fixed or if insurance isn't a option for it I'm sure their is some repair shops that can fix it cheap, who knows? I also liked that one clip where she wanted to leave and Priscilla told Abbie to put her shoes away she looked like "Give me the cookie's and I'll put my shoes away." Abbie is always a hot mess. Much Love guys! :)
Gotta love power hour. I'm learning to get thru it with patience...It's a process. But I'll do anything for my babies. Have a great Thanksgiving!
Through.
Her hugs for everyone was really cute though
Wow you guys are amazing! You do so much good for the autism community and for others too. Thank you for keeping the homeless on your mind all year long. 😊
Abby so proud of you, letting your puppy in.....awesome stuff!
Ok TH-cam recommended your channel about a week ago. I have binge watched like no other and just love your family! I just have to say it must be an Abbi thing because my 9 year old Abbi has always referred to herself as Princess Abbi. I just love that. 😍
That bead logo was sooooo cool. That’s some serious talent lol
Florida never gets cold!! We here in MI are getting 6+ inches of snow tonight
Wow, how is this the first time ever finding this channel. I instantly fell in love with this channel. Such a wonderful family. Abbie is such a lovely young woman.
Glad you found us!
Why wouldn’t you have it in a warranty indestructible case, my daughter has autism also and believe me hers has been thrown before but the case has saved it 11 times ....well worth the money.
It is possible for the situation to warm your heart and break it at the same time. The two are not mutually exclusive.
Who ever made that beautiful piece with the beads 😍❤️ that is a TON of work! I’ve done a few small pieces and it was work.
Wow. Abbie is communicating so well. Amazing. Seriously amazing. You guys are incredible.
I love your family's positivity! Tell Abby her fans say "hi!"
Abbies outfits are always so cute! She is such a typical teenager! 🌺
If you have a Sam’s Club, tape is much cheaper and they have added more office supplies. I
Love the way she gives hugs. How sweet.
So I heard they had to recount the votes in Florida.....maybe because Cilla accidently voted twice??? 😅😅😅😅
So cute watching Abbie wiggle the stuffed cow.
