One guy, from Ancient Greece, look fully human. The rest were obviously an earlier version of humanity. Did you somehow miss the massive jaws and low foreheads?

Based on the skeletal structure, these reconstructions (including others shown on this channel) make the most sense. Besides, not _all_ of them, just the ones shown. Sometimes truth can be stranger, or less acceptable than fiction or what we'd like it to be.
