Marine thank you so much, for these videos . I emailed you sometime ago and your response was wonderful. I always hear learning and I hope by the time I done with school, all the contents I have consumed will be useful 🙏👏. Thank you
Do you have any tips on how to break into HR roles? My spouse studied HR in Canada however she is having a hard time finding a HR job. You can give your story of how you got you job in Canada? Tips specifically for HR jobs.
There are no special tips for HR jobs, it is the same job search process. Does you spouse have HR experience or just education? She may want to consider volunteering as a first step
@Marina, you didn't talk about volunteering as part of your response to question 2. Volunteering helped me and I know many that scaled the "Canadian work experience" hurdle through volunteering.
Thanks for sharing your ideas with us, especially those of us wishing to take up a course in Human Resources Management in Canada, please ma’ma would you be able to give a sample resume or cover letter copies to help master the Canadian style and pattern.
Your videos are so enlightening and educative. Well done, Marina.
Thank you so much!
This is very helpful. Sending this to my friends moving to Canada.
Thanks Marina x

My concern is why all the employers needs one to have a drivers license even when you are not applying for a role that has to do with you driving
If the role requires traveling to different locations, then you need a license to be able to drive a company vehicle or a rental.

That is correct. Volunteering helps in some cases. but there are some roles that volunteering may be tough because of liability issues.
My preference is in-person ❤
Thanks a lot for what you're doing. I am landing in Saskatchewan in June and i'm finding these tips very helpful.
Thank you
I’m in Saskatchewan. When you arrive please ask questions! So you don’t make mistakes like I did. All the best! 😊
lovely glasses
Pls can you send as the site to apply for the job
I have applied from outside Canada...from LinkedIn i have received many rejections stating that they are not taking persons from outside Canada...
You need to be legally able to work in Canada for recruiters to consider you in most cases.
