FIRST OF ALL GO SEND LOVE TO www.twitch.tv/babyj CONTEXT : 100T twitter released a statement saying they were dropping both Ec1s and BabyJ. Shortly after BabyJ went live just to talk about what happened and his thoughts on the situation. He then saw Nadeshot posted something on twitter pretty much explaining somewhat the reasoning behind the decision. I mean good on BabyJ for taking it like a champ, not many people would be able to go live and talk to chat after being cut from a team. I know he'll find a team where he'll make a better fit and leave an impact on the game :) (Also at the end I was gonna cut the recording but didn't so thats why you see NVIDIA :) )
I feel like 100T is gonna make the same mistake as TSM. They’re gonna keep bringing in new talent, but don’t give them enough time to really get used to playing with the team, so the chemistry is gonna be nowhere near where it should be.
BabyJ is right, consistency in this game is so difficult which is why top teams from each region never stay on top for a long period of time (e.g. sentinels, gambit, and acend). honestly, the chances of us seeing a long term dynasty in this esport is extremely slim.
@@rayreds3394 CSGO doesn’t get a new meta every month. Valve notoriously doesn’t patch their game, so the meta stays stable and teams have so much time to master their play.
I totally agree that this 100T roster needed time to get situated. BabyJ is a great player and sentinel; def T1. Just look at his overall performance against TGRD. He overall had more frags than Asuna. I do agree with the decision to drop Ec1s tho, just seeing his performance and stuff but ig it was too early to tell. Either way, this 100T roster needed time to develop. Best of luck to BabyJ and Ec1s Edit: I got a bunch of replies and I will saw that most of them I agree with. I wasn't specific enough in my first comment. I am not a good player by any means, and Ec1s will be better than I ever will be, and I agree that their comp was a massive problem. I do agree 100T rly messed up by not giving this team enough time to develop. Im just saying that I believe it was justified to drop Ec1s, even if i disagree with it. Side note: The new 100T team looks really solid though im concerned about who will play the sentinel role (aside from Chamber)
@@asoidfhowehjr8248 his stats were pretty abysmal he was negative every single map and averaged a .66 kd which was tied for the second worst out of the 60 players who made group stage
@@elijahgallarzo4477 Yep, BabyJ does bring something to the table but ec1s? I do not know where to even start with his play. Too pale, too stale? and I guess he does what he does in his ranked? idk i cannot say anything.
Honestly, babyj is good they just need more time with him you can't get chem in like a few days of playing practice together so like you know. but 13-0 tho man that's a bit fked considering they are a tier 1 team
the problem is the valorant format unlike in cs even if u played bad in one event u still have a chance to bounce back immediately since every 2-3 weeks they have events
This is why I personally think EU will always top NA they rarely change rosters and when they do it's minor things there's a reason they progress well because they build that synergy vs always swapping people out :/
I've seen many matches BabyJ played, especially on FaZe and he is definitely 1 of the best sentinel players I've seen. Quite a shame they dropped him but he'll bounce back for sure
I’ve been preaching this on Twitter, he is definitely one of NA’s best sentinels and he has a great brain on him. They could’ve flourished with time, but I guess 100T wasn’t willing to give it time.
@@muhtasimfuad1945 of course they would say that, but if the tables were turned and 100T won 13-0, do you think we would see this happening? The only thing that hints against it is that the replacements were already lined up, so it seems like they were prepared to replace before the terrible performance.
@@plutoroxx what a shit take. Well man if they didn't have the result that they had the other results would change! No shit. They got 13-0d because their chemistry was awful and they players did not mesh well, you can tell that very quickly. You can walk in a room and talk to every person in the room and make a judgement whether you will mesh with them or not. The roster didn't work. If they were the ones that did the 13-0 of course the result would be different because the circumstances would also be different.
100T and Nade should realize this esports scene is so new like babyborn. they should've known good shit takes time. hope BabyJ and Ec1s keep playing proffesionally.
Like he said, if the players don’t mesh there is no point in waiting a full season for your team to fall apart like liquid did last year with fallen, Stew and grim. It definitely felt like he had some salt in his mouth for his teammates he kept quiet about so if every game is like a toxic solo que, individual skill doesn’t mean anything if you don’t want your teammates to win with you. At least this way they have time to find new teams or work on streaming for the year while they are still under contract.
nitro left steel left so they just tryn to find players that have a good synergy with the hiko, asuna and ethan but i think shortly after these 2 joined they probs knew it wouldnt workout but obv the matches were coming so they cannot drop them right there, you can say what you want but you have to agree that compared to players like tenz, scream , hiko , shazam these 2 dont have that pro attribute , obv not their fault but the above players are like leagues above and keep in mind tenz was benched on c9 valorant team he started playing on lan for sentinels and wiped the floor with other teams so that kind of talent doesnt come often so they are probably looking for more players like that and its the same with asuna, asuna is such a important part of 100T and they made a big mistake by not letting asuna play who he plays good with that is a duelists .
man, i feel like they didnt even have much of a chance to fit in. Understand why and im not even a big fan of either or the team, but they definitely didnt even get enough time i think
@@ajoshua013 I mean the guard is a good upcoming team. People haven't been taking them serious enough. Just because 100t is an invited team doesn't mean 100t is automatically better. And if we're dropping players after one bad performance that's ridiculous. They're teams that have have lost 13-3 13-3 or 13-3 and 13-5. One bad match result shouldn't mean you drop players immediately. If they're consistently losing with few round wins yes definitely. If 100t make a habit of switching the roster around constantly they're gonna be like immortals just a new recruit team that everyone takes the new talent from.
@@phinks5368 you’re just talking out of emotions bro. 100t had more circuit points last year. They almost qualified for champs. All that and you get 13-0 next season by a team who qualified beneath you the following year? Nadeshots being political but we all know 100t took a huge step back and regardless of what it is the team needed a shake up. Rip 100t
@@ajoshua013 have you even watched any of the guard's games? seriously 100t being shit is one thing but dont go dumping on an upcoming team who has shown their potential for the sake of it
The thing is, BabyJ is an incredibly talented player, his Sentinel is one of the best in NA and he still has a lot he can improve on, he just needs the right team for it
It's about the philosophy, the mindset, c'mon man you wouldn't be dropping them if they didn't lose. Why did 100T say it wasn't a result base decision it clearly was, a new igl and a new player just got dropped after 5 matches, It's just sad to see this is how 100T treat their players.
I think even if they did win a match this same thing would’ve happened. They literally dropped steel after making Lan and then also dropping dicey after winning a big NA tournament. The team looked extremely weird with the first thing is Ec1s having a top 5 dualist in NA play Sentinel when you’re starting on attack first. And on top of that Ec1s played extremely passive even more than hiko at times and last year they said they wanted to speed things up. I don’t really get why BabyJ was dropped. But I don’t get how this is a knock against 100T’s org at the end of the day this a business and if you’re not preforming up to their standard then you gotta go
@@Tjay07 Dude performing up to the standard? the team's individual talents are okay but there was no chemistry no proper comms which takes insane amount of time. nadeshot ig got kind of impatient. Plus the last line u said is pretty dumb if we use ur logic huge amount of rosters wouldn't exist rn ;-;
@@Adityafrfr The standard isn’t just stats I don’t get why people always think it just means stats. Zombs performs up the standard while putting up below average stats same with Vanity at times. And the last line isn’t dumb it’s real life. There isn’t a reason for a Org to keep you if you’re not playing up to the level they thought you would if you’re not a big name bringing in a lot of money. In CS if Tenz wasn’t such a massive name they would’ve just removed him from C9 instead of just benching. It happens in real world jobs, normal sports and obviously esports it sucks it’s that way but that’s how it is.
@@124_Ace Ec1s literally said himself that there was different philosophies on how the game should be played between the team. So whether or not they beat the guard yesterday this move was bound to happen.
This is ridiculous, to cut 2 players that were on the team for two weeks while blind siding them with the termination and then immediately announce the replacements is stupid and really casts a bad look on an otherwise respectable org... You wouldnt even give them the time to adjust to the system you threw them right into before going to challengers league, its a disgusting business practice and 100T should be ashamed
This is why I hesitate to supporting NA pro Valorant. EU pro Valorant places much more value around chemistry in the team over time. Versus NAs' approach to get quick success.
@@aoh4905 Hiko and Asuna have great chemistry, According to them 100T haven't had good chemistry with any new players. Why kick one of the players who has been proved to get along with all his teammates in his entire career.
2 official matches, tough losses against really good teams and they get dropped. I can't believe how disrespectful the 100T staff is towards a new roster build. This takes way more time than 2 matches, really doesn't feel like the players get any chance to show their hard work on stage.
@@soorajviswanath3788 Yea but it's a young very promising team that is proving they can hang with the big guys. that's how you do business my boy, plain and simple, if you paid somebody with a 6 figure salary i'm sure you gonna expect a lot but to disappoint they will surely pass on that. if you think this is hard enough for one or two person (emotionally), you should see every DOTA2 orgs how they handle this kind of situations.
100t Team management sucks for what I'm hearing lmao 😂 2 matches and they fire his players , they clearly are never gonna win anything big if they don't let their team grow , I mean how can you expect big things when you reset your roster , you must expect non the first year , the first year is for the development of the new members and the chemistry of the team. 100t sucks lmao 😭💀
fr but they lost to the guard that has been competing in tourneys back to back. it doesn't make sense to drop babyj but it's understandable that they dropped ec1w but it didnt mesh with the original trio's role. likr hiko went to cypher instead of sova.
The big difference between CS and Valo is about how to stay consistent. In CS, perfection is what makes the best team, simply, the best. While in Valorant, adaptability of big patches and meta are the most important. Sentinels for example, they fell off in Berlin because double duelist meta fell off as well. Especially with Kayo that mitigates Reyna ability, Sentinels got nerfed so hard.
I don’t think it was necessarily the double duelist meta falling off that caused sentinels negative results, I think it was more their ability to change their play style according to their opponents. As babyj said there is many ways to win this game.
How is a team ever supposed to get better if they keep changing the roster every time they lose? Maybe there was something else but Baby J played really well in some of those maps. The comp wasnt the best especially with no duelist on ascent like cmon that just seems like a loss just based off comp line up lol I love 100T but its tough to be a fan right now
@@helium5912 And they only lost twice... So what are you trying to say. 100t has lost a lot since LCQ last year, if anything drop Hiko if they can't keep paying losers. Man is too old
@@helium5912 I get that but every team is gonna lose at some point. I think they just needed a little more time but I do agree with you there. Maybe they gave them more time then we all realize but we don't know what happens behind the scenes.
I think what nadeshot was trying to say is he’s just looking for the best synergy that meshed with the team in the fastest time. You can have a team full of solid players but play like shit together even if you give them time. Like BabyJ said, he never played against cloud9 as anchor like that on breeze. That alone right there shows they already have a massive weakness on a map that is often played. He needs to adapt to that style and learn more as other teams will also adapt. Cloud9 is one of the top teams, imagine other teams and their new strats if adaptability is weak asf. If 100T want to make it with those two chances to iceland, you can’t have players like BabyJ. I know he’s way better than me but it’s business at the end of the day. 100T want a championship. Understandable that BabyJ had an opportunity of a lifetime and it had to end that quick but more will come.
@@ToomanyFrancis well If the all the team members can’t be on the same page then whoever is on the wrong note is the problem. No disrespect to BabyJ, he’s nasty af, j think the team comp n chem just wasn’t meant to be
Look at C9........ They bought a new squad...... Gave them time ( even sent poiz to the academy) and after 3-4 months they are one of the top teams currently.... Time is essential in ever changing meta
@@jle7647 you don’t need to be in the team environment to know or figure out things. The way everything was handled is a joke. They have played 5 maps together. Hardly a reason to drop 2 of your new signees. If anyone should have been dropped is Hiko.
hiko is as crucial to 100t as asuna imo (though in different ways of course) his sheer calmness, comms, secondary igl, and solid aim make him a great player then again i heckin love hiko so idk
100% agree with his point at 8:00 One match that comes to my mind is Soniqs taking icebox form sentinels post iceland, where they had some crazy attack rounds that won them the map
100T is just not tier 1 since they lost Steel and nitr0. Simple as that. Hiko is clutching now and then but doesnt have the performance of a tip tier player. Asuna has the potential of being part of a great team. 100t needs to build around him, fast paced team playing meta comps. Idk why the roster change surprises anyone. The first match they looked bad and i called it. They once grinded their way to performing well in Berlin, beating future champs. Part of that was good igl, hiko's clutch, nitr0 and steel experience. Their recipe for success doesnt work anymore. 2 players leaving won't change anything short term.
Agree. I was shocked when they put him on Chamber instead of Jett, Raze or Reyna. When Asuna is not popping 20 kills in a match but 3 kills…that means he’s on the wrong agent.
Really appreciate this level-headed and mature response from babyj. I hope he gets picked up cuz I think he was playing well and still looks to improve, great mental on him.
BabyJ can be toxic. It was probably personality reasons that cut him. He was able to articulate himself decently in this video though. He's right... you need adaptability. Updates can come around and change everything. Becoming comfortable with what's currently meta just leaves you open to being overtaken. 100T is just not the best org tbh. They constantly swap their roster around. They don't seem to want to invest in the development of a team. They're basically just playing a slot machine and hopping to hit big. Just a bad mentality for an org. It MIGHT work but it's more likely to just lead to a lot of instability. But that's their problem. They have their own recruiters. They need to rework their thought process if it's not working.
Such a disrespectful move from 100T. If you want to win, focus on building your roster's teamwork. Less than 2 months of getting to know each other, building chemistry and practice. That's not enough time to build a winning team. Cutting and replacing players does not always fix the issue of losing.
Sometimes getting dropped by an organization is the best thing to happen to you. Look at Steel. He wasn't doing well in the organization, but he's shining on the team he's on now. Sometimes, you won't fit into an organization, and that could say more about the leaders of the organization than it does you.
One of the worst is harsh. They got unlucky with scheduling, having to play the 2 best teams in their division first. They could've easily been 2-0 with an easier start. Look at sentinels, sure they're 2-0, but they played the 2 worst teams in their group, and both matches went to a 3rd map. Imo sentinels would lose to both C9 and TGRD as they are playing rn.
@@SuperGamerzchannel Well thats the point. They used to be able to compete with the top NA teams. Hell, they even made it to LAN but now this? Its TSM all over again.
I think sentinels is fine. Coz shaz also dont believe that changing players instanly can give u great result. I think they will change players if the player doesnt want to compete anymore.
The way he explains the situation at least in this video is very professional. His composure while obviously being very upset shows a lot about his character. For example comparing to Steel and what’s he’s said or how he’s carried out himself, this is much better in a professional aspect. I hope BabyJ gets picked up by another big organization.
I feel like this was going to happen because Ethan would basically only play Sova in ranked for MONTHS, which means he's been practicing the role that hiko plays as much as possible. If hiko doesn't play Sova then the easy solution for him is to play sentinel since he is already such a passive player AND since he would take over the sentinel role then they have to drop BabyJ. IMO they dropped ec1s because of performance, and lack of adaptability as an IGL but BabyJ just because they wanted to keep Hiko as a member of the core 3.
Honestly I was expecting BabyJ to be this immature, talented but unwise player, and I dunno why, maybe cause he was coming from FaZe who are known for their fast, unplanned playstyle, or we could call it "aggro adaptability" playstyle. But the dude is very mature and wise, everything he is saying really makes a lot of sense. You need 5 people who know their roles perfectly, and ALL OF THEM need to communicate their thoughts and give opinions on whats happening. This isn't CS, and that's what's holding 100T back, they're way too CS focused, even though CS had 5 players playing the same "agent". If everyone in Valorant played an Astra for example, yeah sure, it would make sense for one guy to call out 99% of the game and have the priority opinion. But how is a Jett supposed to have a better opinion on what an Astra should do when some shit just happens that you never seen in a game? The game is so dynamic and has too many situations, cause there's so much utility and combinations of that utility, no round is ever the same in any way. CS was more predictable, and less dynamic due to their being less mechanics. It's like playing Tic-Tac-Toe on a professional level, there's a set number of combinations and routes to be taken. And then upgrade Tic-Tac-Toe to a 100x100 grid with bombs that delete spaces, new triangle NPC's that attack you or whatever the fuck. It gets more complex, and harder to just solve, so you have to be good at adapting. So yeah, BabyJ nailed it, you have to better at adapting, while in CS (even though it's still a pretty complex and dynamic game) set plays, a good IGL and things like that were more important. Defending on CS wasn't as complicated, "Oh, they flash this, they smoke this, ok". Valorant? Oh, they arrow this, they smoke this, they pull this, Jett is dashing somewhere, Nade is coming out here, Flash here and so on, and then, next round, all the utility gets switched around. Where's the arrow? Why isn't it landing first or on the same spot? Where's the flash? Where's Jett? I'm sad to say but as long as they have Hiko, who I love, they're gonna stick to their old CS mentality of controlling the pace and map, and predictable play.
yeah he is live rn on twitch and said that he would stay for a couple of months to see if something will work out for his career but he said that he will eventually go back home
really sucks for babyj. he’s a great player who did make some questionable plays but everyone one did during the last match. it felt like they completely under utilized him, why was he put on cypher the entire time when he played killjoy on faze?
Even some of the pro players mention babyj has one of the most nerdiest killjoy setups thats really annoying to deal with. Idk what was their reasoning not to put him on killjoy
I think shahz said it right. The entire 100T roster with the exception of Asuna plays extremely slowly…. Like Hiko always being last alive and baiting. I think though that there should have been a longer period of time for the team to become more synergied
Ok Honestly I think Bang might add some weight to the team. They need another Duelist for sure, it's like if Asuna dies there's not much entry they can be sure of. jcStani has been a consistent performer at IMT and briefly at KCP. He's honestly a better Astra than ec1s and plays decently well with Kay/O imo. Gives Hiko some space to explore Viper a bit more and Ethan can focus less on his Skye entries now that Bang can help with that and Thank God Asuna doesn't have to pick Raze lol and instead pick Reyna or Jett, which he's an absolute demon with. And in terms of roste change, Ethan had been a real anchor helping the team well with his consistent frags and adaptability early on when he was doing awesome on Sage and quite ok with Omen when Nitr0 was trying out Astra for a short while.. BabyJ could've really helped I feel, him being a Sentinel main, he could give more space for Asuna to switch between sites while Ethan and Hiko focused on info gathering with their util and not dying off soon in the rounds. And seriously ec1s definitely needed more time to adjust to the region's meta coz it's different when you're just a teammate from a foreign land, I mean Xeta was a Huge bonus to C9 when he couldn't even speak proper English, he's now an important piece for the team and now speaks English well and has low ping lol. IGL takes a whole different level of pressure and given the region difference, it could've become something actually if ec1s was given more time to develop. Someone else commented this feels like TSM where they bring in new talent but don't give enough time to see how it goes, that's true lol. Honestly both teams have players with HUGE HUGE fan base, I'm talking 5k-10k people watching the stream average, inviting big sponsors. Both teams have intelligent players around which the teams were molded and they also adapted to the meta fairly quickly. But sometimes it's just that there's Executive decisions to make. BabyJ is right, they definitely had a backup plan in mind in case this doesn't work out and it had to be executed in the first couple matches infact, pretty quick given the VCT timelines. This actually gives them more time to try out players on other tournaments and actually build their team's mental instead of throwing them into the fire with the VCT quals. Baptism by fire didn't work for ec1s
Yo I think he misunderstood Nade on one of the points where he talked about how CoD had only one or a few ways to win whereas Valorant is more open to different strats. BabyJ seemed to agree with Nade here, as he also believes there are many ways to win in Valorant.
i think nade was saying that the team needs to be on the same page about how to win, while babyJ is saying that the team needs to keep an open mind and be constantly adapting. they both agree that there are many ways to win, but they have different solutions as for how a team should navigate that fact.
love em or hate em. i think sentinels have great chemistry with each other and that gives them an advantage regardless of individual play. 100T needs time with some players to get to a place like that.
I agree 100%, their chemistry is insane and you can really tell they all like and joke around with each other but get serious when it comes to game time during those comm videos.
I honestly don't ever comment on videos but I hope he sees this. I believe you showed so much maturity and humility in this video. If you can use that to fuel your drive, I believe you are going to be great man. I do. Good for you.
All the best teams just don't throw their players out. They have a strong mindset. Remember acend and Gambit have lost a lot too and in very embarrassing ways even sentinels have stuck around.
I really hope 100t keep losing, this is despicable honestly. Nadeshot said it wasn't results based and then lists off reasons it was results based, he just strikes me as a real... Not great guy, to put it lightly.
@@khaeld091 "hurting his brand" you think you can win matches by just putting in shit tonn of money, if that was true, tsm would be world champions, a team needs atleast 6 months to grow as a team, tsm did exactly the same mistake, they put bang (a great entry/initiator) on astra/sage jail which locked his potential, and when he does frag out, he got benched, an org w millions of dollars atleast should know this

I hated tsm because they kept dropping players then getting no results its gonna be tuf supporting 100T after this
TSM / 100T both organizations are sadly going down the same road. This inconsistency is honestly the one factor that ruins the eSports scene in North America
I feel bad for ec1 the most, had a na speed run. 100T just declined ever since they dropped Steel. Good luck to Bang and jcStani, one single mistake or loss they going to be dropped lmao
JcStani is still loan tho, so even if he played terribly he still have a place go to back in KCP which has done pretty good especially in recent match. Same goes with Bang, he's an aspiring player that have a ton of potential, even if hes dropped, hes gonna get picked up by another 'good' team a few days later anyway.
He is probably right that it is not performance based. 100t might be already eyeing on bang and jcstani but cannot sign them because they are playing on their respective teams. Once their teams didn't qualify, they started the negotiation for the loans and landed them 2 games after.
I love Hiko but man, but if 100T really wanna see success I just don't see it with Hiko on the team tbh. Yes, Hiko has the experience but that isn't enough in a game like Valorant when you are going up against cracked teenagers as a boomer. They need to build a young roster around Asuna being the captain not Hiko and focus on the hidden young talent not csgo veterans.
Im not one to do the EU is better than NA type shit. But how do our NA pro teams expect to mesh and really understand the game first when you keep changing the teams around every month. Last year's eu teams opened my eyes to the obviously more dynamic playstyle comepare to us. From csgo to val. Eu plays the map, like perfection. Looking at the way they play its like a harmony literally. Too early to tell but for sure NA needs to mesh the teams man. You can't expect to build that type of legacy in 2 months. Looking at TSM too.
I remember Karrigan when rejoining Faze in CSGO said the first 6 months are a trial, the next 6 are results and roster changes should be addressed after then. I'm not super kept up with Valorant or the meta, but from my knowledge of CS this game is mental and synergy between teammates is forged over time. No roster change is deserved after two games played
Nadeshot has had so much esports experience you'd think he'd understand to give his players more time with adjusting and getting back the same synergy :l
Obviously there's always going to be two sides to a story but imo, 100T did nothing wrong, the players simply weren't what they were looking for. And if there's a breach in their contracts, they'd be compensated for it.
I agree with the general consensus that they were dropped very quickly, but at the same time I get why the team made the decision they did. I don’t watch Pro Valorant but is getting 13-0 a regular occurrence because to me that looks like they dropped a match without picking up 1 round, that would have anyone ready to make changes. Whether these are the RIGHT changes is neither here nor there, only time will tell.
They had 2 months to get ready and they were doing boot camp for those 2 months that’s more than enough and if something ain’t clicking then it’s time to change
@@andrewdeerdoff5662 2 mos. its not enough take a look on astralis csgo they been hell for like 1 year to get that Grand slam championships, Ive seen teams who let there roster fast switching players and 90% never get the same results.
True, for pro roster consistency and building chemistry is really important, but considering their record and getting 13-0, probably there’s nothing 100T can do more
I guess the mindset that 100T's new roster is gonna click right from the get go like the last one is what that led to this whole shit storm of them dropping BabyJ and Ec1s.
I am really really really hoping Nadeshot isn't a benefactor into making the decision to drop pro players from Valorant roster. Since... you know... he's barely a diamond player and all...
who they bring even .. RIP 100T. again they will loose and again they will change the roster.. it's just good game for 100 t cuz they r giving more time in changing roster than practicing together. feels bad for babyJ and ec1s.
i dunno probably a cooked take but i feel like people dont understand that the way its set up you dont really have time to grow much its basically if you dont do well in this you are basically catch up for the rest of the year and people are confused on why we see so many roster changes in many teams and the ones that havent changed had that time and now they are quite consistant id say. i very much had a big feeling something like this would happen if results didnt come. Tho i do think it was a bit rash to drop babyj. i feel like this is only a big deal since there are so many eyes on the team its kinda wild
Really what are the NA teams doing? Maybe if you want to win focus on working together and come up with new strats to adapt against the different teams you are playing against. Making roster changes every month isn't going to do anything.

This was a very mature response from him hopefully on to better things for him and ec1s

Poor 100T. From being one of the better teams in NA to one of the worst.
One of the worst is harsh. They got unlucky with scheduling, having to play the 2 best teams in their division first. They could've easily been 2-0 with an easier start.

Waiting for 100T to realize Hiko is a problem
He fully baits and sits around while his team dies. People need to see how he plays and how damaging it is to his team
@@jupiterTE may i ask what rank you are?
@@landon1136 he's radiant 😌
Lmao The Guard literally killed 100T.
Good response video, well handled man. Best of luck to you
love em or hate em. i think sentinels have great chemistry with each other and that gives them an advantage regardless of individual play. 100T needs time with some players to get to a place like that.
I agree 100%, their chemistry is insane and you can really tell they all like and joke around with each other but get serious when it comes to game time during those comm videos.
@@syoongkook ya exactly:)
TSM was like: We get good NEW player. We expect champions
100t: Same but if they lose 1ce, we drop.
Agree
This hurts to see man..... Hopefully he'll be on a team soon.
I really hope 100t keep losing, this is despicable honestly. Nadeshot said it wasn't results based and then lists off reasons it was results based, he just strikes me as a real... Not great guy, to put it lightly.
because they are memes now. Gettting 13 - 0d is hurting his brand
@@khaeld091 and its all about moooney for him...
@@khaeld091 "hurting his brand" you think you can win matches by just putting in shit tonn of money, if that was true, tsm would be world champions, a team needs atleast 6 months to grow as a team, tsm did exactly the same mistake, they put bang (a great entry/initiator) on astra/sage jail which locked his potential, and when he does frag out, he got benched, an org w millions of dollars atleast should know this
Facts
@@goodguydynamitegaming387 or maybe it is because an org with millions of dollars doesn't know this. Small teams with not so much money always picks what's comfortable for their players
Dumb move by 100T they fought 2 strong teams in the first 2 matches with no time to prep its tufffff started with steel just dropped him for no reason and now they swap around their igl 4 times already. I hated tsm because they kept dropping players then getting no results its gonna be tuf supporting 100T after this
i get that they want to win and changes are needed here and there, but they're impatient and this is no way you treat your players. mad dissappointed.
He shouldn’t be upset, he should be happy so he can show them how good he truly is as payback
Lots of people have been dropped, even Tenz and Shazam in CS. Just keep grinding and make them regret their decision, what else can you do
I love Hiko but man, but if 100T really wanna see success I just don't see it with Hiko on the team tbh. Yes, Hiko has the experience but that isn't enough in a game like Valorant when you are going up against cracked teenagers as a boomer. They need to build a young roster around Asuna being the captain not Hiko and focus on the hidden young talent not csgo veterans.
Bro spittin
Dropped bj and kept hiko, thats crazyyy
Im not one to do the EU is better than NA type shit. But how do our NA pro teams expect to mesh and really understand the game first when you keep changing the teams around every month. Last year's eu teams opened my eyes to the obviously more dynamic playstyle comepare to us. From csgo to val. Eu plays the map, like perfection. Looking at the way they play its like a harmony literally. Too early to tell but for sure NA needs to mesh the teams man. You can't expect to build that type of legacy in 2 months. Looking at TSM too.
Didn't know Charlie Puth played professional valorant.
That’s the issue with 100T and TSM, they don’t give the players time
Babyj is super mature & has a bright future ahead of him. Wish him the best
F poor guy. The disrespect by 100t after 2 matches.
100throwers finally need me to step in and make them great.
Thats like asking someone to do a bullseye with a completely new and different bow from what you had
So BabyJ disagreed with the way they approached the game, they get absolutely smashed, and they decide it's BabyJ's fault?
I agree with the general consensus that they were dropped very quickly, but at the same time I get why the team made the decision they did. I don’t watch Pro Valorant but is getting 13-0 a regular occurrence because to me that looks like they dropped a match without picking up 1 round, that would have anyone ready to make changes. Whether these are the RIGHT changes is neither here nor there, only time will tell.
Stay strong BabyJ!
Wow, how can a team build chemistry if they change roster so fast, I think it all comes down to business stand point imo.
They should remain longer for a bit, both of them don't even have the time to build team chemistry by this point.
it feels like the 100t staff were hoping for what happened when tenz joined sentinels. and when it didn't happen they were like "gg go next"
theres a lot of "professional players" that totally know what they're talking about suddenly whenever stuff like this happens
Don’t need to be a pro player to know dropping two players from an org after two matches is just stupid. You just need common sense
babyj playing well. they should drop those player who only play one agent and underperform past weeks.
True, for pro roster consistency and building chemistry is really important, but considering their record and getting 13-0, probably there’s nothing 100T can do more
They should've at least kept BabyJ, he was a great sentinal for the team
That’s really unfortunate the org didn’t give the team a chance to understand each other and adapt off each other.
I guess the mindset that 100T's new roster is gonna click right from the get go like the last one is what that led to this whole shit storm of them dropping BabyJ and Ec1s.
i mean they dropped steel weeks before lcq, what yall expect
He boutta have a redemption arc
BabyJ had some of the highest stats on the roster he should have stayed...
I think his attitude is the reason he’s gone. Dude needs to get a grip
?
Ohk Yeah I agree with him on having bad days considering how hiko and asuna were really not feeling it
first dicey then boi now baby j and ec1s what was 100t thinking !!
Making roster changes every month isn't going to do anything.
i was so happy babyj coming to 100t hes was one of the best ancers out there i thouhgt they gonna start dominating like sen optic v1 do
