Also you can make those foil packs ahead of time and freeze them and take them out the day you go camping. I also use a couple ice cubes in the packets for steam along with the oil.
I did watch your clear lake video and it was very entertaining. I'm still getting to know these new hard boxes and the V-Strom. Thinking the soft bags might be the way to go, but I really like the lock ability of a hard box still. I know it's a major discussion point for people.

So I love your camp videos and have me inclined to get out there for some female solo camping. Unfortunately I’m on the east side of the country and think BLM is limited if any over here. You seem to do this alot in your area. Any insights on where and how to find these places in our areas?
Cotton Balls coated with Vaseline work great as a fire starter, it'll burn for about 5 minutes. Not sure how they start up with a feral rod (or similar) though, as I always use the lighter method to start my fire's 😁. I do have other fire starting methods, I just prefer to use a lighter 😉.

Another great firestarter idea is to use a cardboard egg create and fill the "pockets" with dryer lint, then cover with wax. Works well..
Legend has it that his camera is still there, recording the passage of time on a geologic scale...

I have the same table but I use a 6gal bucket as a seat it doubles as a trunk and keeps everything dry too
