Totally wanted to make a video explaining Marina’s most powerful skill which is Engrave. I remember using it, not knowing what it did, trying to use it again and learnt it can never go away…. YIKES FEELS BAD DUDE.
So yeah wanted to make a lil guide explaining how the skill itself works. I hope I explained it well coz if I didn’t Marina and Samarie will hunt me DOWN!!
BTW I RECORDED MY OWN FOOTAGE!! It’s pretty easy to do but I need to make the footage itself more entertaining. Idk if fighting Daan alone was good enough LOL but for what it’s worth I’m happy with it!!

Gro-goroth has a better equivalent in items (the yggaegetsu amulet)
Sylvian is the only one that has a better buff than the item variant (soul devour necklace) but its over kill Sylvian is not necessary you can easily reach 100% otherwordly resist without her
Alll-mer is the second best one imo 15% resist is actually 60% of resist it still has a better equivalent item (Ballistic shield) but you you're gonna need alll-mer and a ballistic shiled + the best armour and helmet in the game if you want to get close so 100% physical resist add Perfect guard and you're done
Rher is useless why would you want more mind storage you always restore the same amount of mind so its not that good the only case where it might be good is if you're using betel stone which restores 10% of you mind which means you'll get 12 mind for 125 max mind and 15 mind for 150 max mind
Vinushka again is totally worthless because (the chac chac exists)
God of Fear and Hunger is the best one because agility is the best stat and the agility it gives you is the same as (small things amulet) so its basically freeing an accessory slot
Still you should probably do only Gofah and maybe Rher if you're one shot everything with magic and if you're really quirky like me Alll-mer to do the unkillable tank olivia build

Imagine just sitting on a chair contemplating the sigil of the Sulfur God and 4 people invade the room from the ceiling and rip your head off
Also yeah, GoFH sigil is the best for engrave. It did wonders for my Marcoh playthrough

i dont see why you would engrave any other sigil maybe besides rhers
@@Martin-ut8ri Depends on the build honestly, Vinushka works wonders with pure magic O'Saa, Alll-Mer works great for meat tanks provided you have pheromones
Speaking on pure magic O'Saa, idk if that's a bug or not but if you use Engrave - Vinushka on O'Saa and equip him with 3 Chac-Chac's he gets 999 Magic Attack

I think I'd like an idea of a positive and downside actually. The positive is supposed to outweigh the downside, but the downside should be notable.
Like maybe GoFH can cause you to be overall more frail in exchange for agility, making you take a step in her shoes for the equalivent of getting the dash skill in the first game.
Gro-Goroth gives both Attack and M Attack, but causes your mind to degrade quicker.
and so on.

Does engraving use up the skin bible or no?
Nope!!! Once you read the book that’s linked to a god, by default you learn the engraving for it :3

Gro-goroth carvin on marcoh is really good actually.
Marcoh has a based damage of like, 30?
+ 4 damage = 34.
With boxing its basically a 68.
