On Thursday, his company EPH signed a deal that will effectively give Křetínský control of the sole nuclear power plant in Slovakia, which is undergoing modernization. The billionaire has also been rumored as a potential lifeline for Thyssenkrupp’s troubled steelmaking business. But how has Křetínský built up his business over the years?
