Man, what an emotional interview. You can tell that Dr. Sweetland is a really good man. He may not have been able to save Mr. Comperatore, but he is still a hero. And it was so encouraging to hear him talk about the army veteran that offered him some water when he was clearly in shock. I actually saw a video with some extended footage, and I saw someone offer him some water, shouted out, "Water! Water!" to a small group of people, and then you see like 20 people offering their water bottles. Dr. Sweetland is right - THAT is what America is all about, people coming together in times of tragedy.

My neighbor is a retired ER Nurse, my mom a retired medical technician, our health care professionals do their best to try and save lives everyday.
His story matters to us. Thank you to the doctor for telling what exactly happened. I trust the first person accounts of what happened.
