    You explained how to use the color charts so well. I had followed Richard Schmid’s color charts but had no idea how to use them. As you explained each color, like yellow in your case, has its own board…and it shows how the yellow interact with the other colors on your palette. And so true about create your own color charts. I have to get my hands “dirty” to get what I am doing instead of following others’ premixed charts. Thank you for such a great video!

    I’ve been working through these charts myself as well! It’s so challenging but I can already feel the improvement. Your charts look so clean and consistent! Are you applying the paint with a palette knife or a brush?

      You’re further along than I am! I stopped at two charts because life detailed me - I should return to them soon.
      Yes, I’m using a palette knife. But I think the most important part is that I’m taping off the squares with 1/4 inch wide masking tape. Here’s a video from my Facebook page that shows how I did it. Take the tape off as soon as you’re done- when the paint is wet. Sooo satisfying.
