I am an old man now. Your video reminded me of when I was young. I had a buddy in HS, David Murphy. We liked to go backpacking. We went many places in California. Joshua Tree, Idlewild, Mt. Whitney. Dinners were very relaxing. The day was done, we sat, talked, and enjoyed our food. Hot coco, or coffee, or tea was a treat to enjoy. Look at the stars, look at our map, and time to sleep. I also went car camping with my brother. Big Sur, Mammoth. We took my truck and had everything to be comfortable. Lots of good food, steaks, eggs, potatoes, and beers too. I camped in a tent in the snow for 2 days once, it was a fun trip. I never made an igloo though. Good job!

Good job. If you plan on doing another one I suggest that you glaze it at the end. You poke a small hole at 45 degrees from top and light a small fire inside with the door closed and it will melt the walls slightly. Put out the fire and let it cool. The walls will freeze up sealing and strengthening the igloo. 3 sealfat candles for about 20 mins should do it.

Actually, as the igloo ages, it gets stronger, due to snow turning into ice and then when It snows, that snow melts from the heat inside and turns to ice which thickens the igloo. ......At least until the temperatures warm up.
I'm living vicariously through these videos. Lord knows, unless it were a survival situation, I wouldn't be attempting any of these...but I love watching others do it! It's addictive in a way.
Loved watching this. Brings me back to my father an I building igloos in 1984. Where snow would land in feet not inches per hour. He taught me the importance of survival far in the deep north. Where survival is second nature to us, bc we have no other choice. It's either you know or you don't.

Kudos to you sir and thanks for sharing this amazing piece of art.
yeah this dudes got so much camera placements going on.
This man just took solo camping to a whole new level! Love it!
I can’t say I’ve ever watched a 30 minute video where someone didn’t talk before but this was captivating 😊 thank you, what a great adventure
That Igloo was real well made. It takes serious skills to build that. Great job.
Thank you, Mike!
@Shaikh Asif he made that snow house it's called igloo
Yep.
👍🏻
He’s taking quarantine to another level.
Everyone needs to go to the forest and be there for two weeks. The virus will disappear :)
I think if this happened what you said t ,forests will disappear.
I know, right 😄.
This is just so very sweet and absolutely perfect! I love it! Thank you for your beautiful work!
You are welcome 🤗
This video is better than any program on Nath Geo actually.
It's so relaxing and the way you film everything without saying a single word ❤️❤️❤️ amazing 👍👍
Thank you friend!
I'm really surprised with this snow house, amazing. After you leave, how long can a snow house like this last?
It can last up to a week without maintenance
About 35 years
Obviously depends on the environment

Good jobs happy to your family 💑💏👪
You have remarkable skills for building and surviving in an Igloo for 4 days. In my opinion the Igloo is beautiful. I am surprised you didn't carpet the floor with dead branches to isolate your sleeping bag from the cold snow. Great job.
Whatch the full video🤣
Everytime I see him crouch and get into the igloo makes me think all of the times I would have hit my head and made the hole thing crumble down.
Takes a really special person to not be self aware when entering an igloo. Probably wasn’t the smartest in class either.
This was basically shop class in my high school in Canada.🤣🤣🤣
Actually, as the igloo ages, it gets stronger, due to snow turning into ice and then when It snows, that snow melts from the heat inside and turns to ice which thickens the igloo.
......At least until the temperatures warm up.
I just learned about igloos, if you lower the inside more the cold air will sink lower and you'll have more warmth.
I'm living vicariously through these videos. Lord knows, unless it were a survival situation, I wouldn't be attempting any of these...but I love watching others do it! It's addictive in a way.

Hi
tienes razón Avril González
I dont know why but I love to watch winter camping.
Beautiful in winter 🙂❄️
Same! Especially at night. I pretend I’m there too all cuddled up in bed.
Loved watching this. Brings me back to my father an I building igloos in 1984. Where snow would land in feet not inches per hour. He taught me the importance of survival far in the deep north. Where survival is second nature to us, bc we have no other choice. It's either you know or you don't.

This suddenly popped up in my recommendation. By the way, the video was quite satisfying and I was by far amazed as to how the IGLOO has been made including the innate beauty of nature. Such a picturesque! 😮
Great content! ❣️

Going to build my first igloo... I was born in the desert so its gonna be a fun mission for me... just doing it in the backyard for now but someday ill get to do it in the wilderness... thanks for such an awesome video! Very Inspiring!
I had goosebumps for the sounds of that ice and super cold snow!

This was the best video TH-cam has recomended me! The sounds, the aesthetic..all about this video was beautiful. You made an amazing job!!
I remember building a four man igloo in Resolute Bay in 82 then having our Inuit survival guides kick it in and give us five hours to build and finish a two man igloo. By the way it was -45 C and I lost all my toenails to frostbite trying to get the key block in, not as enjoyable as your experience lol!!
That's hardcore dude. Thanks for the dose of reality.
Why did he kick it in?
this is ASMR for me: survival, camping, foraging, bushcraft, outdoor beauty, with no talking 😊😊😊
Glad you enjoyed it so much! Nature is truly calming - the silence, the sounds of the forest, and the simplicity of life outdoors can be real ASMR. Enjoy the atmosphere and beauty of nature! 😊🌲🔥
