Finally solved the problem with fin being too tight - my husband took it to his workroom and made it more narrow (0,5mm on each side) with CNC milling maschine. It fits perfectly now. If there is any safety wedge, it is better to remove it and then use new string to adjust it. I can also say that if you have this problem it gets worse and worse in time. If you are nearby Czech Republic we can help. Cheers and thanks for videos! :)
@@HanaVolkmann great news that you managed to sort it! Haven’t done anything with mine yet but I’ll be something along similar lines! Thanks, I’m UK so a little way away! 😅 More than welcome! 🙌🏼
@@davidr954 hi David, yes that could help! 🙌🏼 Also hoping it gets a bit easier with repeated use! Can’t be taking my wooden mallets with me out and about 😂
Yes sanding was definitely required when I fitted the fin to my kayak. No way known it would slide into place. A minute or two’s sanding and wet with water and no problem. The E-fin is an absolute hoot.

Broooo, that E-fin is sick!
Cheers man! I have been out on it since and I can confirm, it is sick!
Hi Mat, you could maybe try a little silicone spray to help the fin slide.

@@MorewithMat I have same troubles with mine, but it is too tight so it pushes any spray or vaseline out, so this is unfortunatelly not the solution
Oh no, yes didn't really help too much with mine either! A gentle tap in works okay but tempted to try and sand a slither off! 😬

Nice, will have to give it a try! They are great fun out on the water! 🙌🏼
WD40 to slide a bit easier next time😅
