Stephen you are an absolute delight! I just came upon your channel about a month ago and every time I watch you bring such a smile into my life. I also love how you drag your sister along, you two are so funny. I’m estranged from my brother sadly so it’s nice to see siblings having fun with each other. Thank you so much for your channel. You bring a lovely ray of sunshine and a smile into my life just when I need it most.
Thanks Katherine! 🙂 a sorry to hear about situation with brother and hope that one day that might change (if you want it too) Glad you’re enjoying the videos 🙂
I never engage with any other TH-camrs content, but your videos are really exceptionally well made and such a pleasure to watch. More people should get to see them. So there you go great TH-cam algorithm, take my comment
Oh so much fun! We are browsing the Waydoo website right now and are imagining what we would do with some. We have had to rescue tired rowers on the Thames before and they would have been so helpful.
Just when I think things cannot get better….you strap rockets on your paddle board. What’s next? Mini jet packs for your walking poles “Rocketeer hiking” 🤣
Last year I went kayak camping on loch Lomond and we got stuck on the island an extra night after the wind picked up. This would have let us paddle against that 14mph wind and get off.
STEVEN was that £400 each , by the way that looked like you too were having fun cheers. And one thing I'm ordering my first real tent for me and a Rucksack 70 litre. Both OEX . Tent is JACKALL 2 , like I said not long ago the other half still saying she's coming camping, I'll keep you posted on the fun we have or not, anyway thanks again for your work and giggles , take care of yourself and yours.ALAN.💯👍
Yeah they ain’t cheap! Not something I could justify the money on myself to be honest but a lot of fun. OEX make good stuff, my first wild camping tent was OEX. Enjoy! 🙂
Bet it makes you feel like the Six Million Dollar Man when you're gliding along without much manual input :-) Guess it could be very handy when you have to return straight into very choppy water + head wind.
Great idea for for a rescue board. Especially with juniors or beginners. Looks like you making 5-6 knots. ( Check on a wrist mount GPS) Which harbour is this?
Yeah it was faster than I was expecting, much faster than I could ever paddle. That’s Port Muck in Islandmagee. Had hoped to go back out and do a speed test but we had a very narrow window of good conditions and was too choppy by the time they had charged back up again
@@StephenJReid I see a Antrim Coast expedition growing arms and legs. I seen these for SCUBA, liked the idea of being shrunk down. less drag! 400 price is OKay as the market price for the big units 4000! So 2-3 units Combined. Then add an Nuaticam or a Gopro plus Video lights.
Hi Stephen, that looks fantastic and comes at the perfect time. I've been trialling an electric motor in my canoe which has also been great fun, though nowhere near as compact. I wonder how they'd perform on the canoe? Would you be up for a test run?
Could you not mount it on the front of the board, so you wouldn’t need to change the fin? Just stand in the opposite direction on the board when turning them on?
I was thinking about getting one of these, but ended up getting the Hiqmar isup e-fin instead, the battery is separate from the motor, but has much more range than the one you're using.
Inspired by your video, I bought Waydoo Subnado to test. Revelation!! I just ordered a second one and I have a problem. I haven't found either a single motor mount for SUP or a double one anywhere on the Internet. I would like to buy some mounts to rotate the motors between the SUPs I own. Can you suggest something?
Hmmm Waydoo sent me a kit to use but I’ve just realised I can’t find it on their website. Maybe email them and ask. That’s weird it’s not in their store
@@StephenJReid ooooooohhhhh you got to do it !!!!! There is a channel called SaltyLass they sail around Ireland you should colab with them. That would be funny
i've never seen a propellor size compared to an ear before. what is it in double deckers? (The buses not the bar of chocolate). where were you testing it? im off for my first ever paddle boarding taster session tomorrow - i'll see if its worth investing in after that.
What matters most is is does it come from a Chinese company that has zero support when it comes to repair and maintenance like all the other similar products.

They are quite versatile

This video is awesome! I feel like with these two motors, I could play on my paddleboard all day!
Looks like great fun! Look forwards to seeing what you get up to with it! 🏄🏼♂️

That’s my biggest worry with paddle camping!
We do love a mad lad 😂
If anyone was wondering what that large phallic device is, it's called a Subnado

Hi, where can I buy that bracket slide-in mount? I seem to can't find it on their website.
Bet it makes you feel like the Six Million Dollar Man when you're gliding along without much manual input :-)

Yeah could be handy for coming back after a long paddle

Yeah that’s what thinking myself!
I'm not a water person but that does look fun. I'm tempted.
It was quite fun
Where did you get the bracket to attach 2 subnados at the same time?? The ones on the website only allow for one.
Ciao come si toglie la modalità crociera?😢
Wow that does look fun, you could paddle board to America 😅, love your vids 😁😁 ty Stephen
Just take your charger 🤭🤭
Not sure there’s anywhere to plug it in on the way 😂 maybe a passing cargo ship
Hi, where can i get that combo with the dual scooter adapter to the fin sup? I seem to can’t find it on the website.
Should have used that to get to the north coast campsite 😂
😂
They look fantastic fun.
I tried surfing, but I was rubbish at it. This gadget is really making me want to try paddleboarding.
Normal paddle boarding is a lot of fun already. This just adds another layer.

Hola, donde puedo comprar ese motor ?

Amazing gadget, looks like fun.
It was silly fun. Don’t get out doing water stuff as much as I’d like but it’s always fun.

Should have made a hover version, Would have helped you on the West Highland way, lol
🤣 maybe next year

Carefull now you’ll be getting a sailboat next :-)
I had thought about getting a sail for the paddleboard 😂

Nah. Dude! Where's my £800 flying jetpack? ;-)
