    I've got this smartwatch that chargers via pins and I'm considering swapping for wireless, this definitely helps cement my idea as plausible if not possible. Thanks for the vid!

    Yep, this is what I was looking for...for the tech in phones these days I am surprised they aren't standard in all phones.

    I don’t think cutting the back of it for better access to the coil as necessary. But I do think it will definitely help with the heat problem.

      Good luck! Be careful with soldering and test charging your phone before assembling. If you do proper soldering and test it should work without any problems. Mine is still working and one Russian speaking commenter also confirmed this has worked with his two Motorola smartphones.

    Thanks was looking to do this. So you have to solder this to the motherboard or can you solder this to the charging port internally. I'm not sure where to install the reciever. Trying to install this in a old phone, the tmobile sidekick phones

      You are welcome, I think it is an option but I didn't want to damage USB port, still charging via cable when needed. But you can try under your own risk.

    Very nice video!
    I thought about to do the same with a nude wireless charging module into a device.
    Before starting, i injected 5v into the wireless charging receiver module (like if you plugged the usb cable on your phone) and measured 0.2-0.3 A. This mean the wireless charging module will consume energy and heat a bit.
    Did you added anything to avoid energy falling back into the wireless charging reciever module?

    How did this worked out? and how fast did this wireless charging receiver charge the cell phone? I bought something like as for my cell phone, but I did not do any modifications like you just did' but it took a long time to charge it to the point it's starting heating up the receiver a lot and especially where the battery is as well that can propose a hazard and I'm also kind of concerned about that as well.

    • @MrZurikmurik
      @MrZurikmurik  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for your comment! First of all everything you do it's under your responsibility and risk. I am still using this phone charging it wireless. It is not fast charging but almost the same as if by cable. It is true, there is a hazard to catch fire if charging module is bad or welding points are weak. So be careful.

    im looking at doing this and I was just wondering if there was any reason you attached the positive to the smd rather than soldering directly to the positive on the usb port

    • @MrZurikmurik
      @MrZurikmurik  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for the question! No, I just saw my friend done the way I showed in video. Please whichever method you use, don't assemble phone until you test fully. Due to weak solder points and defective micro schem they might get too hot. So control it before assembling phone.
