That was the hope! Glad you enjoyed it if you prefer other tunes, I’m happy to share. My channel also has other tunes, btw! Check them out if you want to hear more!
Gerard oddly enough it's not a banjo or a mandola so do, call the manufacturer for the correct information or do as I do and just move things around until I have the best tone that suits me as I'm now the owner and player and this is "my" toy now. If help is needed of course ask, that's a given!
The mandolin family and the banjo family are similar as both have strings that need to be plucked and as different as brother and sisters of the same mother and father. Now a piano or accordion are family (musically specking i.e. keys etc,) both the mandolin and the banjo need a hand (or a something) to pluck that string and neither have keys but a pick is very helpful but not always needed if the callous on your thumb is working today.
I ve got one me self i do not see many but then i do not go to Ceili very often. try going through airport security with one and emphasis on BouzoukI the I at the end, not BouzoukA to the guards.
Well done! Beautiful playing and it sounds awesome! It's a great instrument for the money! I really enjoy playing mine as well!

Big Gold Tone fan here. Thanks for sharing this. Fantastic demo and beautiful instrument. I haven't seen this in Australia but I'd really like one.
Love the sound of that thing!
Started tapping my food without thinking about it. Good stuff!

That’s amazing!!!
Sounds awesome!
Thanks for listening, Enda!
Thanks for sharing! Been shopping around and there's not a lot of samples out there for octave mandolins.
Sounds good! Yeah, I thought so, too. Glad it helped! I am pleased with it.
I’ll post some more down the line.
Love your triplets!
Thanks very kindly for saying that and thanks for listening!
Sounds lovely 👍👍👍
Thank you!
Gavin what way does the bridge work do you set it up like banjo bridge measure to the 12 fret like do you have to position the bridge on a mandola👍

How does an Octave Mandolin compare to playing the banjo? Is it f.e easier to play a few chords here and there or even truly accompanying something?
TOTALLY DIFFERENT instruments! Like a piano and an accordion. 😂

I didn't hear the G string being played at all........ nice playing, but a different tune could have used all 4 strings.
Thanks for the feedback. Happy to pick another tune for you and post. I can do that this weekend or next week probably. Thanks for the feedback again!
