- Hello, you glorious people of the TH-cam Universe!
This is the first race vlog of many I hope 🤞 This is the first race of my season, it's started late due to new dad things.
This race is at the Iconic Surrey Hills, it's a Grassroots style enduro, with 6 stages, tucked into a private bit of land on a farm.
I was really impressed with what the guys at the Hurtwood Inn done, great track, great atmosphere with vibes. I'll definitely be back.
Next race, Southern Enduro Champs/ British National RD5

Looked like a great fun event... Seemed to be a nice compact race with not too big a distance covered
Yeah it's a very short race, perfect for riders new to the enduro format. I think I recorded a full lap of the 6 stages with the transitions, at around 4-5 miles.

whats that little thing on the chainstay?
That's a chain device to stop the chain hitting the frame, best one I've ever used. From a company called 'Chaintamer UK' but I think they've stopped producing them, which really sucks.

@gaboleo94 yeah you're not wrong mate, hate that chain slap sound.
wow how does your race timing work? you have sensor on bike/wrist? first time i saw without interval time between riders.
So it works by a constant time going, and we wear a wrist strap. When we go through the start and finish, it brakes the laser and marks the time. The computer works out the gap and timings. Very clever.
