    Instead of this persuasive lifestyle rubbish, it would be important to see the real vehicle in real action. C'mon, other brand velomobiles have been rolling on the roads for years, and you are just showing distant promo material here... Please, make one mobile ready and show it to us. It would be thousand times more convincing compared to this.

    Something that would make a velomobile really worth the effort would be a lever or stepper mechanism to power it instead of the usual pedals under circular motion. Some bicycle prototypes require way less effort to run than regular models.

    Its impossible to avoid certain inherent safety deficiencies when it comes to very light road vehicles. Their low mass will result in huge acceleration when colliding with much heavier road vehicles. This will sadly result in "beautiful corpse" where the occupant has no visible external damage from the collision but has died from massive internal injuries.

      It is a bike, not a car. You will be safer as on a reglar bike.

      Instead of the tubes I think it would be better to design this as
      composite foam core that can crush and absorb collision energy. Even
      something like XPS. The tubes would probably just add injury.

      Tubes in the front and the rear part have different diameter and thickness to absorve energy from a collosion.

    13500 euros in the website. It's far too expensive. Just pics, no technical information. More than twice the price of a Citroen Ami which has 2 seats, it's enclosed, has heating and goes 45 km/h for 70 km.

      We have no final price yet. But it seems that it would be more expensive than a micro car manufactured in thousands. It's a question of production costs.

      @@alexderpyracc4053 Velomobiles are hand built - if I've got this vid right, it even has a fairly complex metal frame for protection. How long would it take you to weld that together?
      We'd still all be walking If there hadn't been people daring to offer new means of transport even if they cost more than walking shoes or even a mule.
