My first bike was a Suzuki GT550 and the GT750 water bottle was my 2nd. I loved the sound of it then and still do. Yours is a beautiful example. Thanks for posting.
Two stroke bikes need a big comeback! Im a RZ350 guy. Not only is that GT is great condition, it says why bikes need to become 2 stroke again. Love it!!!!
Love two strokes! Baddest bike I have ever been on is a Kawasaki 750 Triple! Could've had it for $500 back in the early 80s too! Two strokes will never make a comeback though! Smog requirements killed them forever and now the GP circuit has done away with them but yeah, let's keep them alive with all the two-stroke enthusiasts out there!
They're already coming back. KTM has just released a transfer port injected two stroke which meets Euro 4 emissions. Injection cures all the blow by issues with two strokes.
I have a restored '72 GT750 J, run Amsoil Full Synthetic Dominator oil in the injector bottle, and virtually no smoke out the rear pipes..............I am in Northwestern Arizona, have owned it for almost 12 years... and have not seen another GT750 of any year on the streets out here................I think they are getting pretty rare now...... I ride mine once a week.... never left me stranded on the side of the road ever.............
Gorgeous bike, was my dream bike as a young man and sadly never owned one. I had everything else, cbx1000, gpz's etc etc but never a kettle and still think they're gorgeous. Good job
your master craftsmanship on a beloved classic is incredible. and your video of her here almost brings tears to my eyes bringing back very fond memories of my old piped water buffalo begging to go for a romp.
I had the 1980 GT 250 X7, had it fully rebuilt, might have been one of the first 250's that was good for over 100 Mph, but this...this is gorgeous...anyone who says that Japanese bikes don't have style or character don't know shit about these things...this just ooozes character...
psycronizer I had 2 x7 1982 and 83 loved them tuned up microns , K&N , boysen reed valves , skimmed head , jetted , clip ons , rear sets , steering damper
l had a T250j bought it from my mate he went on to CB750 "71" l moved on to GT250 they were Crap , my T250j was awesome the smell the feel & the Noise , now l ride a GSX1400k8 bought her in 2009 yeah still have her lol , l wanna do a Restore Bike .... at 63 l'm bored out of my Brain , l was thinking GSX Frame GT750 Motor together what do you think ?? have l lost my Mind .??????
Damn fine shape .I'm so jealous. I had a 77 KH 400 ,80 RD 400 and an 82 RD 350 I was a 2 stroke fanatic ! I preferred the Yamaha's but that triple soundtrack is killer especially with the chambers. Thanx for the memories.
It looks and sounds great, i had a picture of one on my bedroom wall when i was a teen, always wanted a kettle, although i did have (when 19) an RD 350 wheelie Fun machine, i used to tease the police with and always got away on the back wheel :) Long live 2 strokers :)
Beautiful bike with an amazing sound. Doing some refurbashing on my 77' 125. Got the bike for my confirmation a couple years ago and i love that sound and feel.
Love those pipes! It's great to see a more modern incarnation of this great bike. Great job. I'd like to see more of how you put this together as would more enthusiasts of the GT750 I suspect!
38 years ago I purchase my first motorcycle up in college. had to wait till I was away from view of the parents. they never new I own one because the home rules do not allow bikes. anyway i purchase Suzuki GT 380. air cooled three cylinder two stroke. you bike is jaw dropping nice. thanks for posting up a video. wish i still had the 380
That has to be the most beautiful water buffalo yet produced.I had the chance of buying one on passing my bike test in 1979,but to my eternal regret opted for the Kawasaki Z1,1,000.
Outstanding sir outstanding, wonderful piece of work, I had one but all black shiny & chrome in 1978, thought it was the best bike ever made & some arse steals it when I left work & was heartbroken, never did get it back. really nice to see them still around.
Hi Fella. sadly I can't remember, to be honest I thought they were white but my memory fails me, you could well be right, just remember the wonderful noise the 3 into four pipes made as you went through a tunnel. WOW.
Wow that is very nice. I had one in High School. Crazy...trying to turn it in a canyon. It was at home at the Drag Strip. I put a Magura 1/4 mile throttle on it and a slick. Beat most stock bikes. What a ride. Loved the digital gear changer.
first Street bike I ever owned, 78' water buffalo. had the intake and exhaust ports milled, 3 monster carbs and 3 in to 1 header. sounded like a big popcorn machine coming down the road. Around 120 hp, that bike was a beast. Never not even once did it break down and leave me stranded. 800 lb bike had no problem standing up and doing rolling burn outs. One fast and Nast bike, I'd love to find another one to restore. had a ferring on it when I bought it, blue and shiny just like the one in video and sounded almost the same. Nowadays I'm not much for sport bikes but I'd love to have another water buffalo
Best looking "kettle" I've seen yet! Not only that but if I had he's already done 2 mods I'd do - ! 1) Junk the overweight stock exhaust system 2) Run it with better brake calipers BEHIND the fork legs to reduce steering inertia :)
I had one back in the day......wish i still had it now. Along with the others i use to have...kh250,,,kh400,,,gt550,,,gt380,,,rd250,,,rd250lc,,,rd350lc,,,,,rd350lc pover valve.....those were the days
That is impressive. I'm drooling right now. Also a RZ350 guy and would love to see the return of the two stroke road bike but I am not holding my breath.
Had one of those. Same year and 95% stock. Couldn’t get the front tire in the air when hitting 6000rpm no mater what. These stock were not very fast but very reliable. Brakes would hydroplane pretty easy and they would surge on the highway @ 60 mph. At 70-75 it smoothed right out. Problem is this when the national speed limit was 55 and cops were much more likely to write you a ticket. Wish I had it now with people running 75-85 the water buffalo would be right home.
I had one of these back 'in the day' and it was my pride and joy until someone stole it. It was a stock 1976 model grey in colour. It was very quiet and turbine smooth but come on guys, bringing two strokes back from the dead? I remember how they used to pollute the atmosphere with their blue smoke. The GT750 wasn't a particularly good handling bike either. I remember the digital gear indicator and that was very useful. Nice memories but technology moves along very fast and a GT750 should be left in the days of the '70s. Modern motorcycles are far superior to anything built in those distant days. Thanks for the video.
Why didn't you drive this thing? I used to be the head mechanic in the biggest Suzuki shop in New Jersey. I had a 380, 550 and 750 at one time or another. All were 3 cylinder 2 strokes. They were the smoothest running bikes I ever had. They were like electric motors and without that crazy Kawasaki 2stroke power band that had nothing below 5k rpm and then everything all at once. The Suzukis had pretty straight-line power. They were the best bikes I ever rode.
not shore if i have any vids of it being ridden are have a look. ive sold it now was nice to ride really smooth was very similar to riding a 600 bandit.
subscribed just off the back of this, as you can probably see im an off road man but slowly starting to consider broadening my horizons, id consider myself lucky to ever own something half as nice as this
Looks like all show and no go. Better to have restored it back to original condition and enjoyed that smooth, powerful triple as it was intended to be.
Beautiful 😍 😍 😍 Thank you for the video mate. I would be happy if i ever get to ride gt750 in my life. Those exhausts are sexy and i have made your video's exhaust note as my ring tone ;) Cheers! Beautiful bike
That is so SWEEEEET! I bet the exhaust smells as good as it looks too! I'd love to have a nice old 2 stroke like this, but they cost way too much with a pristine restoration like that.
@@ethics3 True, but it also takes a lot of time & $ which sometimes I don't have either of, lol. EDIT: Plus I forgot to mention the most important thing ... You have to have a nice complete bike to start with. Parts for these great old dinosaurs are getting harder to find AND expensive.
After watching this beauty again, not sure if anybody else noticed .... I hope #1 cylinder on the left isn't starving for oil .. It's not huffing that nice blue smoke like the other 2 are!
This bike is an absolute credit to you, all the little changes are all for the better, and on top of that 2 strokes are amazing.
My first bike was a Suzuki GT550 and the GT750 water bottle was my 2nd. I loved the sound of it then and still do. Yours is a beautiful example. Thanks for posting.

I have a yamaha dt125x 2 stroke!
i wish it happens; but unlikely. i think it will be tesla bikes and f1 cars in future :'( :'( :'(
then ban all petrol engines .

By far the best looking, carefully built “ Kettle “ I’ve seen for a long time. Lovely. Lovely. Well done mate.
Gorgeous bike, was my dream bike as a young man and sadly never owned one. I had everything else, cbx1000, gpz's etc etc but never a kettle and still think they're gorgeous. Good job
I remember when they first appeared. The general consensus back then was, Oh a water-cooled motorcycle, the idea will never catch on!
To this day, I have only seen one and was able to ride it.
A Grade 12 Teachers personal machine.
Most beautiful Water Buffalo I've ever seen!!
This is exactly how I would set up a GT750... well done... she's a beauty!!!
your master craftsmanship on a beloved classic is incredible. and your video of her here almost brings tears to my eyes bringing back very fond memories of my old piped water buffalo begging to go for a romp.

charles. stewart why not go with your gut feeling it maybe a first who knows
I just love the sound and smell of a 2 stroke in the morning! I’m drooling 🤤
I love the smell of Castrol 2stroke oil. It reminds me of the Elsinore motocross bikes and motocross racing.
@@evanmorrow1234 I followed a gt750 today in my car, it was filled with 2 stroke smell, heaven.
Road on one of these in 1978. Dangerous beauty. Had a GT 500 early eighties, not as fast but it didn't try to buck you off.
+TheCSHeckler Opps, I Rode on one..... & the bike was a 1975 example. The Water Bus was a freaky bike but exciting, as this bike is too.
Beauty, of all the bike I've owned My 1978 GS750 is still my favorite
I keep comming back to this video. Man, How beautiful! I hope this baby is still around.
I've watched this more times than i care to admit :)
It looks and sounds great, i had a picture of one on my bedroom wall when i was a teen, always wanted a kettle, although i did have (when 19) an RD 350 wheelie Fun machine, i used to tease the police with and always got away on the back wheel :) Long live 2 strokers :)

Sweet 2 stroke sound. Those " Water Buffalos " as we called them back in the 70s had the best sound of any bike on the road .
o man, that sound is priceless. fabulous !!!!!!!!! and it looks fenomenal too. I have a good looking GSX750 from '81 and it sounds totally different
Thanks for getting back to me old school with modern components. Have gt 550 in the Conner two strokes all the way
+Brian Jacobsen
cant beat the smell of a good two stroke!!!
That is by far the nicest 750 Suzuki I’ve ever seen ! Beautiful Bike ! Wonderful
Whoever redid that bike did a masterful job....it is sweet as hell !!
Love those pipes! It's great to see a more modern incarnation of this great bike. Great job. I'd like to see more of how you put this together as would more enthusiasts of the GT750 I suspect!

the best ever 2 stroke motor that i never have

I know this video is old but I must say that water buffalo is absolutely beautiful. What a nice setup. And those chambers
Bro, 4 years since I left my last comment and I still come to your page to drool over this bike!!!!! You did a great job man!!!!!

RAGNAR BLOODEAGLE the black ones had gold lettering didnt they? hardly ever saw a black one back in the day.
Hi Fella. sadly I can't remember, to be honest I thought they were white but my memory fails me, you could well be right, just remember the wonderful noise the 3 into four pipes made as you went through a tunnel. WOW.
This image and sound sent me to the 70
How many memories came into my mind to see this machine !!!
Probably the best looking motorbike I have ever seen.
It sounds beautiful. Looks beautiful too.

What a crazy bike.
In the two exaust from right I could see smoke, but not in le left one.
This is one bike I have never seen before without the extra stuff. A great looking machine...
Whatever anybody's opinion, that is a stunning bike and the work and money and engineering is awesome.
That is impressive. I'm drooling right now. Also a RZ350 guy and would love to see the return of the two stroke road bike but I am not holding my breath.
Crazy cool bike. The sound made my iPad shake so I sat on it.
That is a BEAUTY! Greetings from Brazil!
Beautiful motorcycle, with an amazing sound, I would only remove that lame Red Bull cans though lol.
Joao Neto same
Joao Neto yes they look absolutely ridiculous

I love this beautiful bike 😘😘😘
Красавец, племенной!))))
Kpacabeu
My mate installs garage doors for a living and comes across a mothballed gt750 most years. You'd be amazed how many still exist.
that's the best kettle I have ever seen
now that is a real bike, congratulations.better than money in the bank

I had a go on a race tuned GT750 back in the 80s. Insane.
Awesome Build! Love to see it in motion...

ive sold it now was nice to ride really smooth was very similar to riding a 600 bandit.
Man looks fantastic, I could not write this down, you got my dream right there.
God just listen to that great bike.... just love two stroke power....
That is a beautiful bike and it sounds amazing.

La mejor obra de arte de que vi en mi vida!!!
That's an absolute beauty....👍🏻👍🏻😎😎
I had one in the 70's was customized with a black 550 tank on it.
I'd love to see a first person video of this howling through the lanes ... sounds sweet!
what a lovely bike , takes me back to being a boy, can't beat the smell of a 2stroke
Craig - especially if it’s burning synthetic injector oil….
The best GT 750 I've even seen👌💙
Had a Kawasaki 750 triple as well as the 500 Triple. Love 2 strokes.
it looks brand new! so beautiful!
What a lovely bike.Wish I still had one of mine.
The whole bike is awesome. Even the number plates got a ring to it !
Very VERY nicely done Suzi, I'd love own one this nice and I'm a very OLD biker age 73. I'd stain my undies if I had a bike this nice.
Now what a great sounding bike and obviously well looked after
Hands down that is a sweet GT750
I always wanted a GT, just lovely and sounds great
That's an Awesome GT 750 triple water buffalo. !! Would Love to have that cycle. !
Looks like all show and no go. Better to have restored it back to original condition and enjoyed that smooth, powerful triple as it was intended to be.
That's a gorgeous motorcycle.
I drown in a sea of memories of my 74 GT750 in Blue.
Beautiful 😍 😍 😍
Thank you for the video mate.

Cheers!
Beautiful bike

You can always restore one yourself
Its not too hard with a repair manual and some elbow grease .

Крутая тачанка👍✊👏👏👏
What a stunning Machine, Long live the Kettle : )
Sweet! & Blue is my favorite.
I had a red 1975 but my rear shocks were not made by "red bull".
LOL!!
It gives you wings :)
Sounds mighty pretty.
Should've kept one of the 3 of these that I owned over the years... Damn...
+SquillyMon
ive sold it now but was great to ride turn heads were ever i went.
After watching this beauty again, not sure if anybody else noticed .... I hope #1 cylinder on the left isn't starving for oil .. It's not huffing that nice blue smoke like the other 2 are!
Amazing and beautiful bike!
Lovely sound..luv it.
Oh my goodness that thing sounds and looks amazing.
MAN, THAT IS ONE AWESOME BIKE!!!! I FCKNG LOVE IT!!!!
