Mahesh you are the absolute boy when it comes to beards. Love the comb and hairdryer tip, I’ll keep that in mind next time I get those wild and puffy cheeks!
This is a very good video. I'm from Guatemala, I often see your videos, what I like the most is how practical and natural you are when filiming the videos. You don't have all that film set, tools, lights, microphones, etc, It's just the barber, the client and the camera man. I love BeardBrand, for real.
As always great job Mahesh, wish I could find a barber in my area that took the time to learn how to properly trim beards. Jack, the beards looking good. Have a good weekend my friends.
Growing out your beard is a journey, but it's YOUR journey and nobody else's. There are no rules, and I hate these pretentious hipsters that feel like they have the right to tell another man what's right and wrong. You can grow out your beard and still trim and shape. It's all about showcasing your beard strengths and taking care of your weaknesses. If you have a weak stache, keep it tight and right. If your weakness is the cheeks, keep them trimmed shorter. At the end of the day it's only you that has to like what's looking back at you in the mirror.
First off i just want to give props to beardbrand and Eric B . The info yall provide imo has been probably the thing that has granted me more success in growing my beard than anything else. Thank you beardbrand.I'll a tad over six months into my yeard and I'd say about four months in I actually for the first time felt like I saw myself for the first time . As far as the stache mine grows extremely fast I was able to clear both lips , in the center, at 3 months . Very excited to see what I have in six more months.
9:01 Thank you for the straightening tips, Mahesh! I've used a round plastic brush and a hairdryer to little avail. Now that I know to use a comb and to hit the hair with cool air at the end, I am more confident about my beard! Thanks again! Oh, and great beard, Jack.
Jack my man I'm starting my yeard today. I completely shaved everything off this morning and am starting fresh. Thanks for inspiring me to start this small journey with my beard. To yall at beardbrand thank you for what you do
Trying to grow my first beard. First, I grow a goatee. Whisker length is needed here. Now, I'm letting the sides grow. It's not looking so bad. Certainly, very light trimming makes it look neat and tidy. Hairs grow uneven on everyone's body. My choice of trimmer: Panasonic ER GD60, costly but worth it. The blades are on the side making it easy and precise to use. I learn much by watching TH-cam videos on beard growth and maintenance. Thank you! (UK)
One of the best beard videos I've seen! I can identify with so much of this content. I'm at 5 1/2 months with no trim but I'm ready to get things tidied up. My only issue is trying to find someone as talented as Mahesh.
One of the things I really like about Mahesh is he doesn't just start cutting. He examines the hair first to look for areas that might be a problem. He communicates with the customer and let's him him know what he's going to do.
As someone who has a very similar curly and coarse beard I can attest to the barbers technique being THE best way to get your curly beard under control, especially after applying product.
Wow, simply wow. I'm now on my 7th month with my beard as well which coincidently is just like yours. Just learned a Ton on maintaining it. Thank you so much!
This is one of the best cuts I've seen, from the beard to the hair to the eyebrows... Little touches go a long way. Great video, I've been growing my first yeard along with you I'm about 5 months since Halloween. It's definitely been a challenge but your series has definitely helped.
I did unfortunately trim my beard a month ago, I panicked and started cutting and trimming...I eventually stopped after trimming 3 months worth of growth, now that it's been a month I'm regaining lots of hair along with tons of confidence. I'm never gonna do that again, lesson learned gotta find a good barber and not do things myself.
Great video. I’m at about the same point in my beard growth but have been putting off going to the barber to get the edges cleaned up. I figured, “How much can it help?”. This has changed my mind and I’m making an appointment this morning. Such a big improvement with so few trims.
When going to the barber to get a shape or maintenance on your beard should you have beard oil in or just go natural ? like a fresh wash and dryed look. What would you recommend and why?
Nicely done Jack, my barber does a great job on hair, but doesn't have the same knowledge for beards. All my trimming gets done at home by your's truly. So this and your other videos definitely helps me out, Many Thanks!!
Looking so much better! One thing I'd like to say is that I think it's a bad idea to grow out the hair on your cheeks (the part you've been shaving). Your cheek line is too high, and it'll just end up looking worse. See what happens after a couple weeks of growing it out, and see what others say also. But I really think that what you have now it great, might be even worth considering shaping the cheeks just a little bit so that it is slanted, and not just straight.
He's saying that since the start of his yeard, he's been trimming his cheek lines so that they look nice and clean. However, he's changed this mind about doing this because it isn't how his hair naturally grows, and he wants to see what happens if he lets it do it's thing.
Wow, what a difference between the "before" and "after" profiles! Looks sharp Jack! Mahesh did an excellent job and I learned something new from him. The comb/blow dryer method for straightening dry hair. I was aware of the roller brush/blow dryer method for wet/damp hair.
Have been eagerly anticipating this video for quite some time now, and it definitely does not disappoint. Really awesome to see the master barber at work again. Apart from the suttle snips that make such a massive change that we are so used to seeing from Mahesh, the way he gives you that relaxing pep talk that really motivates you to continue on with the yeard goal is something really special. Jack is at a critical juncture in the yeard journey that really needs a great support mechanism. Go Jack ! Excellent work Mahesh ! Beard On !
I was definitely nervous about getting a trim since I haven't had a beard trim since I began the series, but I couldn't have asked for a better barber to take on that wild hair! - Jack
Greg- I have been watching these video's over and over. I have also LOVE each and every one of your videos as well.. My beard is now about 3 months old and doing well. I did go to my hairstylist in Plano Texas and he does a great job with my hair but I dont know how familiar he is with beards. He did remove the fly away's (which I have now learned from you NOT to do). He did create a line on both sides of the cheeks (yet i feel like it could be higher so i am letting that grow again). I am using the oils and the blow drier correctly and of course using balm or beard butter to hold it in place but i am just wondering when i need to have the sides "Maintained". I dont know that I can ask my stylist as he is more about the hair. Do you know anyone in Dallas or Plano that can look at my beard and give me an eval? I will be seeing him again in a few weeks (for the hair on my head) but I am terrified that he may want to do more regardless. I want to take Mahesh's suggestion and only get a beard trim every OTHER hair cut , but when i watch this video I see Mahesh trimming off the strays that you clearly say NOT to trim off. "Stray today is NOT a stray tomorrow" right? I have worked very hard (daily to get where I am at this stage) and there is just no beard people around here in my area. Just need some help and am a bit confused

I need to get my beard taken care of by Mahesh! Love that dude’s style and care for the beard. This has been probably the best installment of the yeard series. Loved it
I'm afraid of letting someone else trim my beard. I know that shaping makes all the difference in the world. I was a dog groomer once and it's important to show a little personality in trimming the eyebrows and "beard" of the dog. I may take two or three days to trim my beard. I trim some and look at it the next day and refine it more. I don't see myself as others do. I'm just afraid of letting someone hack into it and messing it up. Do you have any advice on what I should do? I enjoyed your video. To me, it's like an instructional video. I like the way that you explain why you are doing it a certain way. You seem like a very loving and giving person and it shows in your work. Thank you
Awesome trim and a great beard as well Jack! I have very much enjoyed watching the progress of your yeard and I’m glad that you can dismiss all the haters. I wish that my beard was as dense as yours! Even being 26 years old, my beard doesn’t have the density and appearance that I would like. So keep on growing Jack, and I’ll keep on watchin’!
Mahesh is the man! Minimal trimming and what a difference! Thanks for the hair dryer "tricks". I never would have used a hair dryer on my beard while it was already dry. I will have to try that now (as long as I have oil in my beard). And, dude! The eyebrow! haha! Beard's looking great.
I love the new fresh intro music of Beardbrand. It’s much better than the previous one or I think I was kind of bored with the previous thing that’s why I think so. But man the new music is so frickin’ dope!
Great vid Jack. I started getting my beard shaped on month 4 of my yeard journey. I'm now well passed a year and on month 15. It's so important to get an early shape up, get rid of those straggly bits and split ends, and have the beard looking sharp as possible while growing it out.
I love this series, i wait every week for the new video, haven´t lost a vídeo from the yeard series, i feel part of the process, i´m now on my second month and this is very inspiring, thx for all the tips its helping me so much to be aware of so many details, greetings bro!!
omg I've been waiting for this!!! I'm so jealous. I need to one day get a beard trim from Mahesh. Love both of your videos I was super stoked when this video was announced
Mahesh another great video from you guys, you are my inspiration for growing my first beard keep up the great jobs you all do , one thing in this video I did expect to see mr Humphreys pop his head round the corner
Great job Mahesh, beard is rocking Jack! Keep it going! I have a similar beard to you and I remember the awkward stage where the hairs on the side of my face just grew out horizontally. Keep growing them, trust me, when they become heavy enough to hang down, your beard will transform! Well worth it! Keep on growing! :)
Today is Day 48 of growing my Beard. Mine too is coming in a bit curly on the sides. Now I know what to do about that. Great Video---always watching. I also watch the Barber Shop Videos with Mahesh. Going in next month for my first Beard Trim and gonna get me a Haircut. Looking for ideas.
So I’ve watched all your videos before with your journey with your years. I am currently at 3 months and have that up and down what to do phase and watching I am now feeling strong to carry on. It’s a shame the beard brand products do not ship to the uk
Holy fuck! That's amazing! I'm probably one week ahead of you funnily enough in my "yeard", so maybe it's time for me to style it. I've been pondering it for a while, and wasn't going to touch it for another month. But now that I've watched this video and the amazing results, I think I'm going to have make the move! It's amazing how cutting around the back corners made it look so much better, and then the blow drying technique as well. This video gets me pumped about my beard. Also my moustache is holding my beard back too. I'm 24 and half of the hairs have appeared to stop at my lip, whereas the others can reach below my lip. So I'm thinking I'll mimic this technique and cut a little off from the middle of my mo, and let the corners reach my beard. Unfortunately my stache doesn't connect with my beard, there's a good half inch jump. But it's getting there. I'm going to have to watch this video again and take notes! Any tips are welcome!
When Jack did the Before and After chair spin he gave the camera a little wink and a look that showed his confidence in himself and the yeard just SKY ROCKETED! Great work, Mahesh and great beard, Jack. Danny
Awesome video. Mahesh is a wizard. You got a great beard going on, Jack. Great clean up on the eyebrows, as well. You don't look like a villain from an anime anymore. Having said that, I don't have much room to talk; my eyebrows are see through. I'm still on the yeard journey with you. Keep the vids coming, buddy.
I think one of the most unknown things about growing out a beard is how much blow drying it out helps to straighten and shape the beard so much better.
Wow---just a little subtle change makes a big difference. Jack---in one of your early videos, you talked about exfoliating the skin under the beard hair. What kind of exfoliating scrub do you use and how often?
Thanks for the support and kindness. I’ve been made so welcome by all the Beardbrand team. Love to you all in Austin TX. 🙏🏻
Mahesh Hayward stop by Delaware before you head back to England I’ll give you $100.00 to trim my beard 😂 great work as usual sir
Mahesh Hayward God bless u man.. you have golden hands...we love your work and great dedication as a barber...greetings from Macedonia 😉😊😇...
That was such a great transformation and great advice for when I grow out my beard again. Have the same problem as him.
Mahesh you are the absolute boy when it comes to beards. Love the comb and hairdryer tip, I’ll keep that in mind next time I get those wild and puffy cheeks!
Great job as always Mahesh 👍
He went from “can I get a dollar?”
To “keep the change.”
Drew M it’s not “stolen” but it has been reposted by others. It’s just one of those good sayings that fit to videos like these. Relax bro lol.
Wow Drew is such a stupid name. Unlucky your parents wernt original.
The name Drew is as plain as white, tighty-whities.
Lucid Soundz lmao
Im still laughing at this :D
the eyebrows! thanks Mahesh!
It looks a lot better now. Such a small care can make Such a big difference.
Definitely! It's not about how much you take off, it's about where you take it from

That little bit of trimming and maintenance made a world of difference. Looking really sharp!
12:33 is the moment we've all been waiting for haha
beard looks great jack! love see how big of a diference can be made with a good trim
so satisfying lol
My soul rest!!
Jack my man I'm starting my yeard today. I completely shaved everything off this morning and am starting fresh. Thanks for inspiring me to start this small journey with my beard. To yall at beardbrand thank you for what you do
How did it go?
I really enjoy watching Mahesh Hayward cutting hair/trimming beards. One of my favorites on the channel.
Trying to grow my first beard. First, I grow a goatee. Whisker length is needed here. Now, I'm letting the sides grow. It's not looking so bad.

Wow such a minute amount of work yet there was a massive change in how it looks. Truly sometimes less is more! I need a barber like him where I live!
Exactly! It’s like Mahesh said, “Sometimes it’s not about how much you take off but rather where you take it from” - Jack
I don’t know why, but im just loving this channel. 🤗
One of the best beard videos I've seen! I can identify with so much of this content. I'm at 5 1/2 months with no trim but I'm ready to get things tidied up. My only issue is trying to find someone as talented as Mahesh.
What a difference! I bet the new look gives you extra confidence Jack. Enjoying this series a lot!
I have no doubts in saying that Mahesh is the best barber I’ve ever known.
a comb and a hairdryer, what a huge improvement for no cost
best barber in the world me thinks. love the respect he has aof the growth and timeinvestments of his customers.
One of the things I really like about Mahesh is he doesn't just start cutting. He examines the hair first to look for areas that might be a problem. He communicates with the customer and let's him him know what he's going to do.

Wow, simply wow. I'm now on my 7th month with my beard as well which coincidently is just like yours. Just learned a Ton on maintaining it. Thank you so much!
Mahesh is the man. He cleaned you up. You’re good for the next 2-3 months
Tried the comb trick while blow drying. Works a treat :)
I would pay ridiculous money to let Mahesh cut my hair... the dude is a straight up artist!
I'm sure he does make quite a bit of money being that good of a barber . I want to get a trim from him so bad
I don’t want to trust any barber in this world besides Mahesh. Mannnnn I just wish I could go to him at least once, this man works miracles
This is one of the best cuts I've seen, from the beard to the hair to the eyebrows... Little touches go a long way. Great video, I've been growing my first yeard along with you I'm about 5 months since Halloween. It's definitely been a challenge but your series has definitely helped.
Finally those eyebrows! Thanks Mahesh!!!
What's the thing about his eyebrows?

Mahesh...such a master! So few changes on the beard and the transformation is intense...looks way better!!!
Mahesh awesome job on that trim, you gave him a fresh look without comprising his beard length. Jack, it is symmetrical and looks on point. Enjoy
I don’t have a beard, I have cut my own hair for the past 20 years.............but I love this channel. Very therapeutic.
Well, we're really glad you like the videos! Thanks for watching!
- Jack
this videos is so surreal! Fantastic!
Also Mahesh really showed how much he knows and I really appreciate that
Phenomenal! I learn so much from you guys. I pick up new tips all the time and it helps make my beard look better and better.
Jack seems like such a genuine and nice person
Thank you! That means a lot to me!
- Jack
He sure does!
Great video. I’m at about the same point in my beard growth but have been putting off going to the barber to get the edges cleaned up. I figured, “How much can it help?”. This has changed my mind and I’m making an appointment this morning. Such a big improvement with so few trims.

Hakan sorry what is he talking about when he mentions the cheek lines comment?
He's saying that since the start of his yeard, he's been trimming his cheek lines so that they look nice and clean. However, he's changed this mind about doing this because it isn't how his hair naturally grows, and he wants to see what happens if he lets it do it's thing.

Mahesh is a magician 🙌
This is a video that I could study for hours and still learn something 😓
Just started binge watching these, very enjoyable, that Mahesh guy, what a craftsman. I think I'm trying for something similar to what Eric has.
Incredible how tiny things like these can make such a huge impact
Great trim man. Eyebrows on fleek. lol
Mahesh with the wonderful assist to your yeard, jack!!! Awesome! I wanna be like Mahesh when I grow up, lolz great content guys!
Have been eagerly anticipating this video for quite some time now, and it definitely does not disappoint. Really awesome to see the master barber at work again. Excellent work Mahesh !
Beard On !
I was definitely nervous about getting a trim since I haven't had a beard trim since I began the series, but I couldn't have asked for a better barber to take on that wild hair!

That's Handsome Jack!
Greg Berzinsky The bold beard crew checking in I see.😎
Greg- I have been watching these video's over and over.

Loved it

Beard on
Brother your beard is a beast!!!!!
That video was so good, I kinda have the same beardhair as you do and now I know how to look good with it! THANK YOU!!
Mahesh is a bit of a genius isn’t he? Absolutely excellent job. 👍🏻👍🏻
Omg Lol I'm rolling with laughter at the eyebrows. Was not expecting that bit. Love U guys!
Thumbs up for the eyebrow trim 👍
Jack, beard looks awesome. Keep the yeard clean!! Mahesh worked his magic, as usual.
I love the new fresh intro music of Beardbrand. It’s much better than the previous one or I think I was kind of bored with the previous thing that’s why I think so. But man the new music is so frickin’ dope!
that`s why Mr.Hayword is called as the master barber.!
cheers to the whole team of the beardbrand.
love from INDIA.!
Absolutely! Mahesh's mastery of barbering always shows in his videos!

Great vid Jack. I started getting my beard shaped on month 4 of my yeard journey. I'm now well passed a year and on month 15. It's so important to get an early shape up, get rid of those straggly bits and split ends, and have the beard looking sharp as possible while growing it out.
Right on!

I love this series, i wait every week for the new video, haven´t lost a vídeo from the yeard series, i feel part of the process, i´m now on my second month and this is very inspiring, thx for all the tips its helping me so much to be aware of so many details, greetings bro!!
Wow. A big difference after that trim it looks very good.
Way to go jack. Keep on growing with proper maintenance on it.
I love the vibe in these videos! such good energy.
The blow dryer comb trick works wonders thanks!
Darren is a very skilled barber.
That barber does some awesome work.
Amazing sculpting and tidyup and also a great use of the styling balm
omg I've been waiting for this!!! I'm so jealous. I need to one day get a beard trim from Mahesh. Love both of your videos I was super stoked when this video was announced
What a few simple beard hacks can do! Simply amazing!
Mahesh is so badass! 😬
Keeping the beard down with a comb and hairdrying it like that is the best grooming tip for keeping the beard down
Mahesh is thr coolest barber in the world
Mahesh another great video from you guys, you are my inspiration for growing my first beard keep up the great jobs you all do , one thing in this video I did expect to see mr Humphreys pop his head round the corner
Whenever you are not tied down to growing an untouched "yeard", you'll have a hell of a beard. Just slimming the sides in will make it look so good!
Mahesh is the man! Now I need a hair dryer.
Mahesh is a friggin artist!! ❤️
Those eyebrows have been exorcised! The evil is not longer in them
No that was it’s true purpose, he should own it it looks cool. His name is knife brow
No
Sword Brow
I’m so envious I wish I could get a beard trim from mahesh!
Mahesh is a true artist. Well done!
I’ve been saying this for a long time
From 12:01 onward is the best part of the video! Been waiting to see this since the Yeard project began!
You know we had to do it eventually

When Jack did the Before and After chair spin he gave the camera a little wink and a look that showed his confidence in himself and the yeard just SKY ROCKETED!
Great work, Mahesh and great beard, Jack.
Danny
Killing it jack! Mahesh doing work. Keep on growing!!
How do you shape your hair on your hair? Any specific products you use?
Awesome video. Mahesh is a wizard. You got a great beard going on, Jack. Great clean up on the eyebrows, as well. You don't look like a villain from an anime anymore. Having said that, I don't have much room to talk; my eyebrows are see through. I'm still on the yeard journey with you. Keep the vids coming, buddy.
I think one of the most unknown things about growing out a beard is how much blow drying it out helps to straighten and shape the beard so much better.
Jack Milocco has a beard so much like mine and I like how much neater and less puffy his beard looks at the end compared to the begining.
I need a barber like this. I need to start looking for one here in LA haha
Nice Jack, I am also about 20 weeks into a yeard. It's nice to finally see results.... the brows look good man. Till next week beard on.
Wow---just a little subtle change makes a big difference. Jack---in one of your early videos, you talked about exfoliating the skin under the beard hair. What kind of exfoliating scrub do you use and how often?
I use Cetaphil Daily Wash nowadays
