I’ve been on 42 Royal Caribbean cruises during the years and seeing many of the places that I have been to before brings back many wonderful memories for me.
I’ve been on Serenade of the Seas many times. She’s a grand ship and able to get into many ports that the newer bigger ships can’t.

Another insightful video. I follow another couple on this cruise and they seem to be doing all the tours RC book but I love the contrast or your own style tour as this way, we, the envious viewer, get too see both sides of the coin so to speak.
I love all the cafes and out of the way shops you discover.
Yourselves and the other couple really do give contrasting stories on the same places.

That was absolutely wild! How cool to see! Would have to experience being on a voyage, because all the hotels would be packed.
With over 100,000 visitors flooding into that small town, you can imagine hotels would need to be booked way in advance.

I watched another channel and their Arica experience didn't cover Carnaval but was equally entertaining to watch. Just goes to show much amazing culture there is to experience in each port.
Each port has so many things to choose from. A lot of folks booked tours way before departure on the cruise and were not aware of this event. I happened to research Arica and found the date of the Carnaval was the same day we were there. There is so much to explore and see in every port that you can go back and spend more time that is for sure.
