At least there are people out there like you that hunt them down and put a dent in their population. I honestly didn’t know that iguanas were so destructive, but when there so many I’m sure they cause a lot of damage. It looks like they do a lot of damage to the native plants.

California has (or HAD, before the drought) a snail problem. Edible snails, brought over by a French restauranteur during the Gold Rush and then dumped and then they invaded all of CA.
I live in a condo in Delray Beach, Fl that consists of single floor ranch style homes with 4 units to a building. We do not have a big iguana population but in addition to a few 'roof-bathers there is one massive, 10+ pound gray-colored male that occasionally suns itself on a roof top. They crawl to the roofs via adjacent plants and trees. Anyway, I actually saw this large iguana jump from the roof edge to the ground; a distance of about 9 FEET. Not even the many local squirrels would ever attempt such a leap. It was just fine and walked away as if it were no problem. They're tough as nails! Keep up the good work!
I don't know what's going on with iguana man. He walks thru and scares all his targets just to go back with his airgun to find maybe one. You on the other hand go in prepared and don't fool around. Keep it up. I wish you would put more videos out but I know you're busy with your work.

Sweden here. People buy these as pets and pay between $50-100 depending on the size. Plus you need a terrarium with expensive stuffing, heat lamps etc.
You are an excellent shot with that airgun. The one I have is the FX impact M3 35 Cal with an 800 mm barrel and a Donnie FL moderator and X-Sight 4K pro digital scope. I would love to go out there and test it out on some big iguanas. Anyhow, I love your videos. I don’t subscribe to a whole lot of people. This is the first I've heard this! Usually everyone says they make TERRIBLE pets. They are hard to provide the proper habitat to as they grow huge, live over 30 years, and are often times extremely aggressive
so a couple questions, is this in Florida? who contracts you the city or property owner? do you have any issues with law enforcement? is there a permitting process you need to follow? how many crazies confront you and have there been any property damage issues?
I agree, they are difficult to provide the type of care that they require to be healthy, are often aggressive, and live way past high-school and college
@aflteck Just because they 'can' doesn't mean they 'often do'. Iguanas can make a good pet to a very dedicated person, but usually they don't. Mink man has awesome little cuddly minks, and I've met a really cool raccoon or two....but do they normally make good pets? Of course not
Do you get paid a flat rate by the piece, or does it vary by length or weight of the animal? I'm not concerned about how much you make, but rather what your pay scale is based on.

Look at the Asian carp problem. They are spending millions just trying to control them. Zebra mussels as well.

This one had it all. A big ol' mess of large iguanas, a karen, the demonstration of a higher fpe for the big ones, and a cute dog's butt.
