Do you have to wait one year to open it? Can you add pieles of paper during the year?

I do a blessing jar. Kinda similar. I write my blessings down and fill the jar and on new years I read the blessings I ve received in the past year.

Thanks Collette I’ve read that a god box is for putting your fears, worries, or troubles into. This is opposite. Also do you only put the notes in the box on one day and then wait a year? What if you put a note in on January 1 and then you have to wait a year till next January but what if you ha another wish to surrender on February, and March, etc? Can you put some in throughout the year? But you only open it to read the notes on the following January?
