Quick Jordan story along similar lines...Once upon a time I was a news videographer. Worked in Cleveland during the years where Jordan just ripped the Cavs hearts out and put Craig Ehlo on a lot of posters. I was fortunate enough to often get assigned to shoot some of their games for highlights for that evening’s news. One occasion, I notice Lenny Wilkins (then coach of the Cavs) would actually try to stare down players and get in their heads. Most just shook it off and didn’t play into it. But then Wilkins got the bright idea that he’d try that with Jordan. So I’m sitting court side watching this unfold. When Jordan catches Wilkins eye and sees that the Cavs coach is trying to intimidate him???.....you could almost see the steam coming out of Jordan’s head. He returned the glare and then some. Wilkins quickly realized he was over his head and broke eye contact, unfolded his arms, and looked down in submission as Jordan dribbled by giving him the death stare. It all unfolded in just 10 seconds or so, but it was palpable on the court, the fear that Jordan invoked. Never seen anything else like it. That guy had a presence that has to be experienced to understand. Some people are just different. Jordan will always be the GOAT.

    Just like shaq said
"The fair thing to say is we should probably break it down by eras on who was the best player ever, but it's Michael Jordan by far," Shaq said. "Some of the things he's done, I don't see anybody being close to that. He's a 10. There's a lot of 7s or 8s around there but there's no 9s or 10s."
Coming from one if not the most dominant player who play against mj, kobe, lebron.

jaydimepc79 .....it’s also the cause of his failure as a basketball executive. He’s UNREASONABLE. His biggest fault is working with other people. He was supremely gifted as an athlete so he overcame it as a player. But look at Larry Bird. Bird could play with his boys. No not man to be MVP as a player, Coach of the year, and Executive of the year. Think about that.

This is why Michael Jordan was the most feared competitor ever in the game. Bird, Kobe, Magic, Lebron, Isaiah are all great players. But MJ is still head and shoulder above all them in terms of competitive and psychological dominance on the basketball court

That didn't age too well. Did it, Dan?! That was the worst take of Dan's career. He actually said MJ didn't make anyone better?!
For God sake, does he remember Pip holding up MJs shoe, on HIS own foot and asking MJ to come back because Pip couldn't be that guy! The best place to make someone better is in practice. MJ amd the Pistons made Pip tough.
Dan is an Ohio guy. He prefers James style of play. And that's his perogative. But he KNOWS MJ is by far the better olayer by a mile. Hell, he even said, MJ set the bar was too high, like it wasn't fair?! How contradictory. In one sentence, he says Kobe had way better talent than MJ, and he did. Next, he praises LeP.E.D for his taking of a good team to 60ish wins the weakest era in EC history?
Dan actually sounds mad that MJs standard is one he knows LeBarry Bronds can not reach😢😅

U hav to switch stances... this defense is really too easy. And he had an arsenal of combos against it depending who a defender was. And how he was helped.
Best players are beaten and provoked cos u can not guard them. They have moves and abilities to do whatever.... like they are alone on the court. You can only hope to limit them to have a good night instead of awesome game.
