Such things are very common, and part and parcel of a major "religion of Love" back then in the medieval ages(I can't mention it or else my comment gets removed). @@jamestomlin5525 griffiths torture was worse, guts is atleast a functioningperson still, griffith had 0 chance of ever recovering not to mention its implied the torturer raped him
Bro I'm ot tryna be that guy but this is 1000x worse than anything guts has ever felt. Imagine getting your tendons cut, that alone is more than enough to make you feel pain. Not to mention, the torturer probably played with the cut parts too, probably forced him a ton of times and when you get tortured to your face, it's really painful. And he was tortured in the parts where the nervous system is complex. Meaning, he had to experience a lot of pain
After spending a year being tortured, only knowing pain, losing all your human capabilities, living in the dark, losing all you have worked for in your whole live, not having any type of pleasurable experience, griffths just wanted to die man, he didnt wanted to be seen by his group members in such a disgusting and depradated state. He was weak and lost all the conditions to live by himself, this happening after him being able to achive his biggest victories, and maybe, he even could have become a king. I dont like griffth, he's now a member of Gods Hand, but he has a very, VERY bad past. 1 year of pure torture, many people cant compreehend how much hes been through. When he came out the torture chamber the only thing that passed his mind was suffering, and the only thing he wanted was survival and fulfilling his desires. Thats exactly what he did. He is a manipulator, but giving that much power for a person after that much horror was NOT going to be a pretty thing to see.

All bro had to do was not have a meltdown and sneak in to sleep with a 13 year old princess over his bestfriend wanting to write his own story. Griffith def didn’t deserve to go through what he went through but I’m not exactly sure what he expected.
What’s even more unsettling is the fact that the torturer specifically states in the manga that they even played has “Husband and wife”…I’m pretty sure you can guess what else he did to Griffith not being able to fight back… 😬

I understand but that doesn't mean it was ok. There is also no justifying what he did to Casca. The sacrifice was practically over at that point. He did it purely to spite Guts.
@renebismarck8265 you do know that virginity of noble daughters was almost like a coin for bargain? It was important for politics. Sure, Griffith was a successful general but he was a mere commoner who had no right to sleep with princess. So yeah, it is treason
Its important to note that the only thing that kept him going during that time was guts. Imagine not only being physically tortured, but also mentally, because the only person you can think of is the person that (at least in your opinion) is responsable for all this. In the end it wasn't his dream that burned him, it was his obsession. For him everyone else were pawns. Tools that he can use to achieve his dream. When he realized that his most important tool will not be his pawn anymore, something in him snapped. For him it felt like he was losing control, like his plans are about to fail. Thats why he slept with the princess out of the blue. He searched comfort and wanted to regain the control he lost. He wanted to know that his plans are still working out and that everyone was listening to his will. After he was done he realized that this will not bring guts back, that he is not in control anymore and that his plans did really fail, which scared him.

@Sweet_potato402 What you're seeing is the same hat trick pulled off by characters as diverse as Lotor from Voltron: Legendary Defender, and Humbert Humbert from Lolita: be a good-looking/well-spoken/charismatic enough malignant narcissist predator fuckboy, and a significant amount of the population will buy it hook, line, and sinker. This is why we can't have nice things in real life.
"Look who fell asleep first, prank him jhon"
Poor innocent guy, I sure hope he doesn't do anything bad in the future
The scary thing is people really did these kind of things back then. Sometimes even worse
People still do these things
Such things are very common, and part and parcel of a major "religion of Love" back then in the medieval ages(I can't mention it or else my comment gets removed). Removing the "sins" through all kinds of torture, etc. Or invading all other countries that are not a part of this religion, using God as their justification for war. It was a much more cruel time back then, in the middle ages.
Now I understand why people say griifith got the worst pain 💀😦
Ah yes a Tuesday in the berserk world
I remember before SOTE came out i was so dang sure Miquella was gonna come out in a gay Batman suit at the end after seeing his crazy Griffith arm in the base game.
Miquella is basically Griffith. They both look incredibly similar, and are both manipulative power-hungry individuals. Hell, Miquella even tried to become a god, much like Griffith wanted to have god-like absolute power.
@@Reed5016Miquella is nothing like Griffith lol
@@acoustic_. I just explained all the ways he is, my guy. I was being hyperbolic when I said they’re the same character. Obviously, they’re not. But there are similarities between the two.
@@Reed5016 calling Miquella power hungry is such a poor judgement of his character. At the end of the day, he believes he is doing the right thing, even sacrificing himself to ascend to godhood. Miquella is completely naive and selfless.
@@acoustic_. He’s still manipulative, and killed a lot of people to achieve godhood. With Griffith, we don’t even know his motivations for seeking power. Maybe he believed it was for the greater good of Midland, or maybe it was selfish. Maybe it was something more twisted. Who knows. What we do know is that Miquella and Griffith both sought god-like power, they both look similar, and they both are manipulative and have done crazy things to obtain that power. Though it can definitely be debated which of them is worse (I’m going on a limb, and saying Griffith is significantly worse).
still doesnt justify anything he did, not to mention guts went through similar experiences if not worse but is still didnt give up
Nah, guts had it much worse.
Damn... even how he was born was beyond messed up
@@jamestomlin5525 griffiths torture was worse, guts is atleast a functioningperson still, griffith had 0 chance of ever recovering not to mention its implied the torturer raped him
@@feroniks366guts was raped as a child, by donovan
Bro I'm ot tryna be that guy but this is 1000x worse than anything guts has ever felt. Imagine getting your tendons cut, that alone is more than enough to make you feel pain. Not to mention, the torturer probably played with the cut parts too, probably forced him a ton of times and when you get tortured to your face, it's really painful. And he was tortured in the parts where the nervous system is complex. Meaning, he had to experience a lot of pain
Well, no one wins when we play the suffering Olympics.
Has the best sob story but still find a way to be hated
Sounds like a diddy party
Nah😭
"falsely accused of treason" isn't how I would put it.
what happens to me and bro after he told the cartel “all bark and no bite” :
Wdym “falsely” accused of treason 😭
Average Tuesday in berserk
my bro when he gave the hello kitty girl a chance:
Griffith should get the infinite death loop
As bad as Diavolo was, he didn't deserve eternal suffering
@@lupus-griseo Finally someone said it
Griffith got the funky town treatment
Just because of that stupid ass king, who can't keep his eyes away from his own daughter and was jealous of another man..... Griffith broke beyond repair and finally chose his deepest and darkest side.
Ps: I am not taking Griffith's side either.....
No wonder he went insane after that 💀
I could never forgive him for what he did to Kasca
As much I hate to say it I feel sorry for him but that doesn't justify for starting the Eclipse

He can still talk about it.
“Ay man it is what it is”
Now i really gotta read the manga, i had no idea he was tortured before turning evil and shit.
Griffith didn't know where the money was
He had nothing to lose so he went above and beyond to what was the only option for power, becoming Evil at it's finest.
That was too merciful
Least gruesome event in Berserk
dont rly blame griffith for popping his ult but the actions he did is not redeemable 💀💀💀
"Falsely accused for treason"
Sounds like something the cartels would do
It's daily thing in medieval times.
DO NOT FREE THIS BOY, I REPEAT. DO NOT FREE THIS BOY.
None of this would have happened if Guts hadn't friendzoned Griffith.
I mean, they weren't wrong in accusing him of treason
Griffith did commit treason, he burned down the royal home with the Queen inside.
“Falsely accused” if he hadn’t slept with the damn princess he’d have his dream.
صل على النبي ، واستغفر الله😊
Still, i can't justify Griffith's action but i can understand it
u can understand him revenge raping casca? do u need help or smthn?
Falsely accused man was caught red handed
"False accused"
LOL
He LITERALLY fucked around and found out.
I still despise him.
Just regular berserk things honestly
Bare in mind people, false accusation doesn't directly mean someone who was innocent. You can still be falsely accused of something you're actually guilty of.
The difference is if they have prove or not. If they don't have proof, it's a false accusation regardless of the reality of your guilt.
All they had was the Princess' big mouth about sleeping together, which isn't treason.
All bro had to do was not have a meltdown and sneak in to sleep with a 13 year old princess over his bestfriend wanting to write his own story. Griffith def didn’t deserve to go through what he went through but I’m not exactly sure what he expected.
I’d also become a villain.
Fr
Guts never became a villain, and he suffered his entire life, not just a year
@@moty333 Griffith is worse

What’s even more unsettling is the fact that the torturer specifically states in the manga that they even played has “Husband and wife”…I’m pretty sure you can guess what else he did to Griffith not being able to fight back… 😬
Least painful berserk experience:
Sounds like he already lost his humanity before he became a monster.
Well he was sold as a prostitute at a very young age before even meeting guts so yeah he wasn't all there

Griffin got that Urban Spooks treatment
Didn't he also make suprise love to Griffith or did i get that wrong
I dont remember any mention of griffit getting piped down (other than that time he had sex with a king or a high figure to get some moneeey)

Sure sure.
But what he did to Casca was COMPLETELY unnecessary and evil. And he forced Guts to watch!
I can understand WHY he would sacrifice his band…but he’s not excused for doing it
@@Moldereyes1999 i mean guts literally tried to kill casca a few times, you always have some hatred inside you and no one is perfect, i think thats what miura tryna say. griffith was in his demon form too, which means all the evil and darkest feelings of him are manifested, which leading him to do that, u prob know he had a manipulative obsession with guts, so the moment guts fall in love with casca, griffith grows a bit jealousy and hatred towards both of them, resulting to later actions in his demon form. for sacrificing his band, that was not acceptable at all, but would you not do the same thing? we can all act moral, but when put at the lowest point and give a chance to revert everything, would u deny it for the sakes of others lifes ? griffith is a complex character and no one knows if hes wrong or right, thats why i love his character so much
@@celanvaril6200he did this to himself he raped the fucking princess he was NOT false accused
I understand but that doesn't mean it was ok. There is also no justifying what he did to Casca. The sacrifice was practically over at that point. He did it purely to spite Guts.
Fr. Ppl really think that guts never tried to r*pe casca when her mind was broken lol.
I would like to imagine the torturer suffered even more once Griffith became Femto
Did you say falsely accused of treason? Bro you know he slept the princess right? And got caught.
But is that already Treason?
@renebismarck8265 you do know that virginity of noble daughters was almost like a coin for bargain? It was important for politics. Sure, Griffith was a successful general but he was a mere commoner who had no right to sleep with princess. So yeah, it is treason
What did he done to deserve that
Just read Berserk its one of the greatest manga of all time
He had sex with the Kings daughter, theirs more to it than that though, you should read the book to find out
he slept with the king's daughter and deflowered her, which I guess is an act of treason because they are not married
