    If you have the intent to keep this bike for longer, consider putting honda click/vario parts on it. I think you can use kzr, k59 or k60 parts code on it on several parts.

      @@Wordamoufguy K59/K60 is the production code number for the Honda Vario/Click that the Clash was based on. You would most probably be able to use many of the parts, however, expect quite a number of them (especially those related to the engine and drivetrain) to be incompatible since the Clash is a whole different machine under the similar appearance.

      Has been running great actually. I have noticed that the left brake lever doesn't always activate the brake light. I've had to mess with it a few times and wiggle the wire. It's important that it activates the light because you won't be able to start the bike. Other than that it's been really reliable and engine is holding up pretty well.

      To be honest is holding up pretty well. There are a few things I've noticed here and there while it's running and as it idles. But nothing serious and really no power loss or gain... Just kinda goes. All in all is holding together well for being a Chinese clone.

      At the time of the video I only had maybe I believe 200 miles or maybe less. I'm at almost 500 now and the rust is still about the same, but yeah it's concerning as well to me.

    Just got the exact Clash 200 efi. You should put rust gel on the metal and Hi Temp spray paint or the rust will cost you later. Mine hasn't rusted yet. I use silicone spray on my pressure washers to stop them from rusting. I'll try that before it gets to that point. Do you know if it has a Kevlar belt and what size? I don't want to be stranded because of a cheap belt. Good honest video. Thanks.

    • @ToneM

      That high temp spray is a good idea thank you I didn't even think of that but now that you have mentioned it I will take a look at it. My Clash now has 1500 miles. I made an accurate MPG test on two 83 mile high speed rides, between 55 mph and 60 mph actual speed measured by GPS. Without a windshield it was 76 mpg, with windshield it was 82 mpg. This is at 4000' elevation with some hills, a 230 lb 6'1" rider at about 70 degrees. 87 octane gas.

      @@ToneM Thank you! On X-Pro's site there are two pdf files. Scooter manual says SAE 10W-30 (Sigma) for 4-stroke engines or its substitute HQB-10. The quick guide says perform your first oil change by replacing the engine oil with 10W-40 motor oil prior to starting. They're giving out false information on that and the 200 EFI when it's 168cc's

    • @MrHugemoth
      @MrHugemoth ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is a sticker on the engine that says to use 15w40 oil. Same sticker Lifan puts on their other motorcycle engines. Many motorcycle owners including me use Rotella T4 15w40 for diesel trucks because it is easy to get in 1 gallon jugs at Walmart and meets motorcycle standards. Because these scooter engines do not have a wet clutch there shouldn't be a problem using any type of oil that meets viscosity requirements.

    I ran in to the same problem, I went to Red Fox Powersport in Riverside Cal. On their site I was looking for a 200cc scooter. Went in to the scooters, under 200cc category and found one that I felt comfortable with It was Teyin Super 200. I bought it on line and they shipped it to me. I opened it up and assembled the few things that that to be mounted. Set it up and it ran fine no issues. About a weel or more, I got the paperwork on the scooter and prepped everything to get it registered at the Secretary of the State. I did notice it at first or even on the web site where it was in small print. On the title it said it was 168.9cc not 200cc. That is when I went back to the site and looked at all the specs. and it said 168.9cc. I was pissed. It said in the description it is a 200cc scooter. So I am putting this out there Beware of Red Fox Powersport.

      Yes that is even if that part is on the header pipe, some of them aren't like that. I never said anything about a direct bolt on. It all depends on the complete muffler setup. I don't think this has the part you are talking about on it. I think it is internal leaving it open for upgrades. These ECU's in my experience for the scooters are pretty wide open as far as what they are calibrated to as there was an issue with the first run of these throwing engine light because it is air cooled and they were set for it how ever the unit runs completely fine even though the light is on.
