Kolten, we love you! You are one talented and special man and bb player. My husband and I loved watching you and DeJong make impossible plays together. I will never forget June 2019 playing the Cubs 8th inning, Waino pitching, 2 Cubs on and you playing Superman. You literally flew to catch that ball and save the game for us!! I am so happy I got to see it in person. I’m also glad we were able to see you play at spring training last year. I was born and raised in STL and you are our family!! You and Alissa are one classy act!! Your mom is watching with so much pride! You will be greatly missed!! Aloha!
You are a true Cardinal and class act. The city will always have your back and we wish nothing but the best for you. Thanks for all you did for us. I can’t wait to see you get welcomed back as family.
Great guy. I met Kolten and his wife doing spring training in palm beach gardens, fl. Where I work as a security guard. He signed a jersey and baseball for me.
I wish you the best luck in Milwaukee and I will miss you coming to the plate and hitting and fielding I love seeing you play at second and playing for the fans and having fun you will be missed by us all and again I wish you good luck in Milwaukee.😭😭😭
Love you for everything you’ve given to the cardinals organization. Definitely one of my favorite 2nd basemen of all time, and players of all time in general.
He was one of my favorite players to watch since we got him, I’ll be sad seeing him leave. He was an amazing infielder with a surprising amount of pop off the bat at times. I can’t wait till he gets the ovation he deserves when the fans are back.
Kolten, we wish we could be at Busch on April 8, when the Brewers play the Cards. It just isn’t possible. Please know we will be giving you a standing ovation from our living room. We will always remember you and wish you the best!
Tigers die hard. Cardinals have always been a thorn in our playoff side. Putting that off, Kolten Wong is a bonafide GAMER. Through and through. He reminds me a bit of the former Jose Iglesias mixed with Placido Polanco’s IQ. They both gamed, hustled always and were TEAM guys. When you love a sport, you tend not to miss when a youngster shows generational type talent (like a Yadier Molina and Albert Pujols). They’re a rare breed and Kolten is that and more.
I was bummed when they didn’t resign him. I understand it from their point of view though and I do enjoy brewers games as well. Especially in the last few years, I always told everyone they would be a threat to STL, and they grew by at least one more once Wong joined. See you in the division race ;)
Aloha! As I saw Kolten Wong in the St.Louis Cardinals uniform. I hope he makes St. Louis and Hawaii proud. And yes you did. Your unbelievable defense plays and throws are totally amazing. So sad to see you go. Good luck with your new team.
A class act. He should never have left. I can not understand an organization that pays a guy like Matt Carpenter, who is a liability and lets a guy like Wong who is a player who makes any team better leave.
One of my favorite players. You made us proud. I was sad to see you go, unfortunately I don't think the Brewers are going to be very good this year. You are a player that deserves trophies. Good luck in Milwaukee.
I was at wrigley that year that he won his gold glove I told him before the game as I got my hat signed that this is the year he beats baez mark my words
Nice ending to a chapter in life that started off on rocky ground. I rmb all the racist Chinese/Wong tweets that followed the game 4 world series when he got picked off. Seeing his acceptance now after showcasing his hard work is a story I hope all ppl can learn from. This is simply what the majority of minorities hope for.
wong is one of a kind, cant wait for the ovation we can give him once they let us back in the stadium
the fans stayed true to their words
that just happened yesterday
He definitely got his ovation
it was an amazing moment

Great guy. I met Kolten and his wife doing spring training in palm beach gardens, fl. Where I work as a security guard. He signed a jersey and baseball for me.

It’s going to be fun to watch Kolten in post season. He deserves all the best!! I sure wish he was still with STL!
This made me cry

Hope nothing for the best for you. Always a class act. 👏
My favorite Cardinal outside of Pujols
Welcome to Milwaukee Wong, St. Louis will miss you.
As a cards fan I miss him
Class act and a great second baseman. The Brewers are lucky to get him

Easily my famous position player. I am hopeful we eventually re-sign him after his 2 year deal with the Brewers is up.
I would love for us to re-sign him
Song?
Already one year ago :')
It’s been years sense he got traded and I still wish he was with the cardinals to this day
Good luck in Milwaukee

If he loved the city ... why was he asking for more money
duh
Seeing Kolten in a Brewers uniform is one of my least favorite things!!
Nice ending to a chapter in life that started off on rocky ground.

What a shitty thing for you to choose to remember. I mean, you remember some racist comments and that's your takeaway for this player's career in STL?
still proud of you Kolten Wong.
